In three areas in the province of Småland studies has been done to investigate how big damage the moose may do to P. abies. An inquiry examination and two different types of surveys were done to find out how big area, which volume and which financial consequences the moose debarking has had on the forest. When the volume was calculated the rot spreading was included. The area that was damaged was stipulated with the answers from the inquiry examination. 59 % of the asked forest owners answered the inquiry.

This paper examines how teachers and librarians are helping children and young people withdyslexia/reading and writing difficulties. The examination has taken place in a small municipalityin Skaraborg County. Seven teachers in the municipal schools and the chief librarian inthe municipal library have been interviewed as well as an advising county librarian.In the municipal schools the pupils have access to literature in easy language and computerswith programs training reading, writing and spelling. In some schools there are textbooks ontape too. In the municipal library and in the county library disabled readers can loan literatureon tape and literature in easy language.The conclusion of the examination is that children and young people with dyslexia/readingand writing difficulties need all sorts of aids in reading and writing.

Dysfunction of the upper respiratory tract is a common cause of impaired performance and intolerance to exercise in racehorses and include several upper airway obstructions. The ones termed dynamic obstructions are primarily seen during physical exertion and affected horses often appear to be normal during endoscope examination at rest. The correlation between diagnoses made at rest respectively exercise is low, suggesting that an examination at rest alone is likely to be insufficient. The upper respiratory tract is exposed to great differences in pressure throughout the respiratory cycle; variations that are further altered during strenuous exercise and affect the rigidity of upper airway structures. In presence of great fluctuations in pressure, stability is achieved through coordinated and synchronous neuromuscular mechanisms. Due to nerve damage or anatomical abnormalities, these functions may be disrupted and further cause a dynamic collapse of the upper respiratory tract when pressure changes become too severe. The etiology behind the neuromuscular dysfunction is not yet fully understood.

Organisationer idag använder ofta flera olika kommunikationskanaler vilket underlättar kommunikationen, eller gör det verkligen det? Syftet med studien är att beskriva och analysera hur personal på olika nivåer i en organisation upplever kommunikationen i den egna organisationen samt att identifiera möjliga förbättringar av denna kommunikation.  Följande frågeställningar ställdes för att kunna besvara studiens syfte; Hur upplever medarbetare, mellanchefer och personalchefen att e-post och intranät som kommunikationskanal inom organisationen fungerar idag? Hur upplever medarbetare, mellanchefer och personalchefen att den muntliga och direkta kommunikationen inom organisationen fungerar idag? Hur upplever medarbetare, mellanchefer och personalchefen att kommunikationskanalerna e-post, intranät samt muntlig och direkt kommunikation kan förbättras inom organisationen? Studien genomfördes med en kvalitativ ansats i form av åtta intervjuer med en personalchef, tre mellanchefer och fyra medarbetare i en facklig organisation. Den här studien visar flera likvärdiga resultat som vid tidigare forskning. Personalen upplever att kommunikationen genom kommunikationskanalerna e-post, intranät samt muntlig och direkt kommunikation fungerar ganska bra/bra inom organisationen. I studien framkom att det är den muntliga och direkta kommunikationen som fungerar bäst inom organisationen.

Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka och jämföra hur tre socionom-, lärar-, och läkarprogram konkretiserarExamensordningens (Högskoleförordning 1993:100, bilaga 2) krav att studenten för examenmåste ?visa självkännedom och empatisk förmåga?. Frågan ställs också hur dessa egenskaperformuleras som fasta eller utvecklingsbara hos studenterna. Genom att kvalitativt analyseradokument från utbildningarna (utbildningsplaner, kursplaner och relevanta styrdokument) drasslutsatsen att metoderna för att kontrollera och sättet att se på studenternas självkännedom ochempatiska förmåga har väldigt olika karaktär, först och främst hos de olika utbildningarna, men ävenhos olika lärosäten. Läkarprogrammen har ofta en tydlig bedömning och progression;socionomprogrammen en tydlig tanke om utveckling genom relation; och lärarprogrammen vagaformuleringar men en tydlig kontroll av studenterna genom verksamhetsförlagd utbildning.

Syftet med studien var att belysa hur personer med diabetes typ 2 upplever den information och undervisning som gavs av diabetessjuksköterskor. Studien hade en beskrivande design. De som deltog i studien var åtta kvinnor och åtta män i Mellansverige med diagnosen diabetes typ 2. Data samlades in med hjälp av semistrukturerade intervjuer och analyserades utifrån kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Resultatet redovisas i ett tema och fem kategorier.

The aim of this study was to describe how persons with Whiplash associated disorder experience how the pain affects them in their daily life. The design of the study was descriptive with qualitative, individual interviews, questionnaire with background facts of the examination group, and diary notes from persons with pain of WAD. Method for selection was convenience. Through contact with the association of whiplash group in a county in middle of Sweden, the majority of the examination group for the study was found. Five persons where given information about the study, one of them choose not to take part of the study, and one of the persons did not complete the study.

This examination intends to find out what thoughts children in around 12 years of age thinks about their own television consumption. To examine this, the questions in issue is: ?What does the children watch on television?? ?Why do they watch the programs they do?? ?How do the children speak about their own consumption?? ?What does the children learn from TV?? ?Are the children concious of the impressions they take from TV?? ?Do they speak critical about TV?? ?Is there anything indicating on some kind of influence from the childrens television consumption?? .To answer these questions I have chose to hold qualitative interviews, to let the children?s own thoughts be the foundation of the examination. The theories in this examine are that the person who does the consumption from different forms of television takes the information personally out of her own reality. Meaning that the person watching is the judge of how she applies the information to herself.

The company Somas, Säffle, has assigned Fredrik Kjellin the project of finding out how ?KVTF DN250?, one of their own valves, reacts on cutting forces under production. They wish to know if and then how much it?s possible to minimize the wall thickness of the valve with neither plastic nor to big elastic deformations caused by processing.The most critical processes have been identified as rough lathing. The study has shown that the marginal for a wall thickness of two millimeters, to fall short of the yield stress in the most critical process, is good.

The aim of this study is to examine the knowledge and experience of the bad breath among high school students in Kristianstad. A further objective was to measure the amount of VSC (Volatile Sulfur Compounds) among those who perceive themselves to have a bad breath. A questionnaire with 21 closed questions was distributed to 120 high school students from Kristianstad municipality who were between the ages of 17-20. The results of this study revealed that most of the students had good knowledge of halitosis. The majority of all participants thought it was important to smell fresh in the mouth and also experienced most of their breath as very good or good.

This examination work aims to describe how a supply chain around the biggest pellets factory in Sweden will be configured in a logistic perspective. The plant and associated infrastructure are in the building phase and will have production start on the 2 November 2009. The key question that is set in this examination work is to recognize the logistic processes which are essential for an effective flow of materials and information that link the source of supply with the ultimate customer. In order to get the answer, a flowcharting of these supply chain processes is required for understanding the pipeline activities such as input and storage of raw material, the production system and the output of pellets to the customers. The basis for this supply chain map is a model-based representation of these logistic processes and activities that are involved around the pellets factory.

Denna studie har den muntliga delen av franskundervisningen under grundskolans senare år som fokus och hur lärare kan motivera elever att tala franska men också hur elever kan motiveras att välja att lära ett modernt språk. Syftet med studien är att söka kunskap i vilka metoder och tillvägagångssätt några fransklärare använder sig av för att motivera sina elever att tala franska samt vilken deras inställning är till elevernas förmåga att uppnå muntlig färdighet. Studien har genomförts med en hermeneutiskt inspirerad kvalitativ ansats med kvalitativa forskningsintervjuer som datainsamlingsmetod. Sex lärare har intervjuats och resultatet redovisas i 5 kategorier som utkristalliserats ur intervjumaterialet. De är: Intressera elever för franska, Motivation till lärande, Lärares inställning till franska språket,arbetssätt i undervisningen samt Vision.

The purpose of this master?s thesis is to describe and analyse the origin and development of the municipal library of Västervik. There have been four previous libraries and our examination starts in 1859 with the foundation of a parish library. The other forerunners were a working-class movement library and two libraries in the International Orders of Good Templars. Before the merger of the libraries there were discussions in the municipal council, among the working-class movement and in the IOGT.
