Vår övertygelse är att en av de viktigaste budbärarna för ett företags identitet är produkterna och att ett långsiktigt varumärkesbyggande sker genom att knyta emotionella band mellan konsumenterna och varumärket. Detta handlar främst om vad konsumenten upplever när produkterna används.Vår målsättning var att bättre kunna förstå helheten runt användarupplevelsen och branding och därigenom skapa bättre verktyg för detta i vår designprocess. Målet var att komma fram till slutsatser kring hur vi som designer kan angripa dessa frågor på ett kreativt sätt.En stor del av vårt arbete har behandlat området branding i förhållande till design, men vi har även berört vissa områden som psykologi, innovation samt kreativa arbetsprocesser..

Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis is a progressive neurological disease which causes a slow degeneration of the body. Living with this disease means being exposed to severe strain and every day could bring new losses. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis does not cause any harm to the intellect, the mind remains unaffected. The aim of this study was to achieve an understanding, and to shed light on the nature of positive life experiences of people living with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. This literature study is based on detailed examination of three person's narrations taken from their autobiography and biographies.

Efter att ha ägt fastigheterna benämnda som Polstjärnan, belägna i stadsdelen Lindholmen på Norra Älvstranden i Göteborg, under många år ställs Wallenstam nu vid ett vägskäl. Med byggnader som åldrats och ett område som utvecklas ifrån dem växte fastighetsutvecklingsprojektet Polstjärnan fram.Syftet med arbetet är således att utreda en framtida utvecklingsplan för fastigheterna som är väl förankrad i området Lindholmen och kvarteret Polstjärnegatan-Karlavagnsgatan. Till att börja med ville jag få en bild av Lindholmen ser ut och vad det finns för planer för fortsatt utveckling i området. Därför kontaktade jag Johan Altenius, planarkitekt på stadsbyggnadskontoret i Göteborg och Anna Eckerstig, byggprojekt och verksamhetsansvarig på Chalmers Fastigheter.För att sedan skapa en gällande utgångspunkt för arbetet har flera personer på Wallenstam intervjuats. I dessa intervjuer har de fått ge sin bild av fastigheterna, dess historik och tidigare tankar på vidare utveckling.

I projektet har jag utformat ett bord för hemmet som man kan leva med hela livet och som enkelt kan anpassas utifrån olika människors behov, och förändras allt eftersom ens livssituation och behov förändras.  Bordet ska kännas värdefullt och få ett mervärde genom att laddas med personliga berättelser och vara något man vill behålla och bevara.   Samtidigt är bordet tänkt att vara en startpunkt för att få människor att börja reflektera över sina förhållningssätt till konsumtion och vilka värden som är viktiga i livet. I ett längre perspektiv  hoppas jag att detta kan minska den onödiga konsumtionen och bryta den slit- och slängmentalitet som råder i samhället..

Att "smarta" brädspelande datorprogram har blivit mycket bättre under de senaste årtiondena har väl knappast kunnat undgå någon. Med brädspel menar jag spel såsom Go, Othello, Backgammon och Schack. Idag spelar program, som körs på en reguljär PC, bättre än de flesta människor. Vad är det som gör dessa program så bra? Hur kan man lära en dator att spela ett så pass komplext spel som Othello på en sådan nivå att ingen människa har en chans att vinna? I detta examensarbete kommer jag att försöka förklara mekanismerna bakom ett toppspelande Othelloprogram.

Aniara is a versified epos written by Harry Martinson in 1956. The story is about a large group of people who are being evacuated from earth to Mars because the earth is radiated. However something goes wrong. They fall out of course and end up on a never ending journey in space.This essay examines the relations between the eposAniara and Lars Rudolfssons dramatization for Stockholm City Theater, played during the fall/winter of 2010. Through performativity and narrative theories I analyze narrations and characterization in the text and in the play.

AIMThis thesis purpose is to fill a knowledge gap of research into football-related violence and media. The objective is to create an understanding of how football-related violence is portrayed in the Swedish tabloids Aftonbladet and Expressen.METHODTo reach the desideratum we used a qualitative content analysis of 198 articles concerning football-related violence. To analyse the results we used theories regarding ?Framing?, ?the three ?I?s and the ?Stigma-theory?.MAIN RESULTSThe result from the initial analysis showed a heavy reliance on ?frames? by media outlets. This tended to make the news seem more sensational, dramatized and subsequently more readable than it otherwise would have been.

The main focus for this essay is to describe the relationship between human and nature through a material investigation that takes its shape through sculpture. With the help of a fairytale-like story the reader can share the creation of the sculpture and how my thoughts flow through the process that will result in an exam project. Rooted in earlier projects I discuss the crash between civilization and the wilderness as well as talking about the likeness of the creative process and child play. I also discuss the body's place in the forest and the loneliness that we humans created that has cut us off from the rest of the creatures and plants in the forest. My aim is that in the final piece I will create a fiction place where these can be joined together again.

The main purpose of this stydy was to evaluate the Aurora clinic (for women afraid of birth/delivery) in the south of Sweden. Questionnaires were sent to 197 women who had contact with the Aurora clinic during 2007 and 2008. The group of participants contained both pregnant women and women who have given birth. A total of 136 women replied. The results showed that both the average age and the level of education of the women were high.

Bright Chest of DrawersThis project derives from a fascination of spaces which withonly light and shadow withhold a narrative value, which createsemotions and experiences with a minimum of objects. Iwanted to invesitigate light and lighting, and create a productthat can change the mood and experience of a spatial enviromentwith light. Questions I asked myself was: How do I relateto the spatial limitations that arise? How can I, with light asmy tool, give form to an immaterial value or state of mind?Will the object that illuminates be the most important factorof communication and meaning when I want to tell a story, oris it the light itself?The result became a chest of drawers that is lighted up frominside when you open the drawers. It serves a function as a unitfor storage of objects, but also makes us reflect of the importanceof objects, of how we define a spatial enviroment, andwhat we consider as private spaces in our home..

Detta examensarbete handlar om hur man utformar installationer som återger platsens historia i en besöksträdgård. Dåtid möter nutid genom gestaltning av historien i tillfälliga trädgårdsinstallationer.Arbetet beskriver en gestaltningsprocess som börjar med studier av platsen. Fakta och inspirationsmaterial har samlats in, bearbetats och resulterat i tolv olika installationsförslag. Stor hänsyn är tagen till beställarens tankar och önskemål. Platsen som jag utgått från under arbetet är en Hälsingegård med anor från 1700-talet.Avgörande i arbetsprocessen har varit att det funnits mycket historia och fakta att tillgå.

Bakgrund: Inom investering förekommer ett flertal tumregler och myter. En myt som cirkulerat bland investerare är att framsidor i branschtidskrifter, benämnt Cover Stories, skulle utgöra en indikator för en contrarian strategi. Våren 2007 presenterade den första studie där det undersöktes om Cover Stories hade utgjort indikatorer för enskilda företag i USA. Vi kommer att undersöka om Cover Stories i Affärsvärlden och Veckans Affärer utgjort en indikator på den svenska marknaden under tidsperioden 1987 till 2006. Utfallen av våra resultat kan eventuellt bidra till att investerare inte fattar beslut utifrån en felaktig myt om samband inte kan påvisas.

Stockholm is one of the fastest growing cities in the world. Its population is growing every day and the housing needs are becoming higher. Despite the growth and the need for more houses only a few new housing units are being built every year. Critics argue that if the building rate stays as it is today the development of the city will be very limited since there is no capacity for the city to embrace new incomers.The decision makers in the municipality of Stockholm are planning for large investments in housing units for the coming years up until 2030. There are plans of building approximately 140 000 new apartments to mend the ascending need for new houses.Farsta County is part of Stockholm and lies a few kilometers to the south of the city center.
