It has become more common for organization to operate a lot of projects at the same time. These projects affect each other, either in way of resources or technical. Projects in a multi-project environment depend and affect each other, and in most cases they rival about resources, decision-makings and priority. To lead a project portfolio with several projects is a major challenge. The most common problems that occur are vague objective, unclear working conditions, resource shortage and problems of priority.

Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att undersöka hur svenska små- och medelstora företag anpassar sig till de marknadsförhållanden som råder inom Afrikas Bottom-of-the- Pyramid. Studien har följt en kvalitativ forskningsmetod samt tillämpat fallstudie som forskningsstrategi. Detta för att erhålla en djup insyn i företagens agerande och hur de anpassat sig för att vara förmögna att företaga på en marknad vars förutsättningar inte är i närheten av idylliska.Studiens teoretiska utgångspunkt implicerar huvudsakligen Bottom-of-the-Pyramid konceptet, konkurrensstrategi, kooperativ strategi, nätverk, affa?rsrelationer samt de fyra A:na. Vidare redogörs fyra fallföretags upplevelser från BoP-marknaden i empirin; varför valde de denna marknad, vilka möjligheter ser de den besitter, vilka krav har den ställt på dem och hur har anpassningen till denna marknad gått till.I analysen förenas vår teoretiska referensram med det insamlade empiriska data där de ställs gentemot varandra i en diskussion kring i vilken utsträckning teorin stämmer överrens med empirin.

Electrooculogram (EOG) data was used to develop, adjust and validate a method for drowsiness detection in drivers. The drowsiness detection was based on changes in blink behaviour and classification was made on a four graded scale. The purpose was to detect early signs of drowsiness in order to warn a driver. MATLAB was used for implementation. For adjustment and validatation, two different reference measures were used; driver reported ratings of drowsiness and an electroencephalogram (EEG) based scoring scale.

This project describes and evaluates two different ways of communication, implicit and explicit. To compare the two methods, two experiments have been executed. This report is a literature review that aims to describe marketing contexts for mango production in Kenya. The institutional conditions in the country are not well developed for marketing purposes, which causes many difficulties and problems for the society. In Kenya most mango producers are poor small-scale farmers with limited resources. Mango is a perishable commodity and to keep its value and quality it is essential to have the opportunity to sell the mangos in the right time. Inefficient and undeveloped infrastructure and marketing systems hinders the mangos to reach the market in time though, which causes large losses of produce.The Kenyan mango production has increased during the last decade but due to market losses for the producer, the small-scale farmers? profits have not improved.

The purpose of this project was to produce signal relay stations that could receive information via 2.4 GHz radio and relay the information to a designated target station. If a relay station was located outside of signal range for the target station it was supposed to utilize other relay stations to transfer the information to the target station, so called multi-hop.The would-be application of the relay stations was orienteering. When an orienteer punches a checkpoint the signal stations would relay information of who punched the control, when it was punched and the checkpoint that was punched to the speaker tower in the goal area.The work resulted in prototypes which fulfilled the statement of purpose and was tested at an orienteering competition with satisfactory results. The performance of the prototypes was tested and found adequate for the would-be application..

The aim of this essay is to describe the historical development of the intercultural teacher training program at Södertörn University in Stockholm. I have also examined how the intercultural teacher training program was started, how and why it became intercultural and how the people in charge of the development of the teacher training program discussed intercultural science. The teacher training program has been an active part of Södertörn University since 1998, but it became intercultural in 2002. I have studied these questions through documents from the Södertörn University archives and literature by the funders of the education. The study shows that the university profile, ambitions and motives have been a key factor in the decision to make the teacher training program at Södertörn a multi-cultural one..

The intention of this study is to perform a content analysis based on a theoretical framework founded on multi-level governance, MLG. The thesis examines the formal changes within employment politics between 1999 and 2004 (Sweden´s action plan for employment) and 1998 and 2007 (the spring budget proposition). I will investigate how multi-level governance has effected the Swedish employment politics. Furthermore, the purpose of the thesis and the questions under consideration are: How have the formal structures within Swedish employment politics changed since Sweden?s admission to the European union, particularly during the periods 1997-2008 and 1999-2004? And: How do the changes in Sweden, together with the European union directive concerning employment, coincide in the so-called employment strategy?While performing the analysis I have focused on multi-level governance.

The way we interact with computers will soon change dramatically. The input interfaces are becoming more and more intuitive and one of the latest technologies is a touch screen interface capable of dealing with multiple inputs simultaneously. The tools we use to communicate with the computer - such as the mouse and the keyboard, will slowly disappear and be replaced with tools more comfortable and more natural for the human being to use. The purpose of this project was to create a basic framework for future projects dealing with this interface, as well as creating some example programs. The municipality of Sandviken is in a state of strong growth. This affects the need for more hotel rooms in Sandviken, in a way that it?s profitable to invest in a new hotel. Sandvikens largest company, the steal industry Sandvik AB, grows just like Sandviken, and have great influence on the need of more hotel rooms. Today there are three hotels placed in Sandviken, and these hotels aren?t enough when the pressure of hotel guests is at its top.The purpose with the project was to analyse the criteria?s that are important for localization of a new hotel in the Sandviken, and to clarify what kind of hotel Sandviken is in need of.

Enligt modellen för Robert J. Harringtons sensoriska pyramid finns det tre faktorer att ta hänsyn till beträffande mat och dryck i kombination. Dessa innefattar grundsmakernas påverkan, texturens roll samt betydelsen av flavours.Syftet med uppsatsen är att, med utgångspunkt i Harringtons sensoriska pyramid, undersöka betydelsen av grundsmaker, munkänsla och flavours, vid mat- och dryckeskombinationer med te.Metoden som tillämpas i föreliggande uppsats är en litteraturstudie med utgångspunkt i fyra vetenskapliga artiklar. Två av fyra artiklar berör teets egenskaper. De andra två behandlar mat och dryck i kombination.Genom att redogöra för grundsmaker, munkänsla och flavours visar resultatet att en kombination mellan mat och te inte kan byggas på samma grunder som en kombination med mat och vin.

The aim of this essay is to examine the handling of plastic waste on a local level in the three municipalities of Gothenburg, Malm? and Stockholm. This is achieved with the help of guidance within the theory of Multi-level Governance. By applying the EU directive 2019/904, about disposable plastic, and examining the global plastic problem, the efforts to promote sustainable use, and recycling of plastic, is analyzed. The method involves a qualitative content analysis, where the 2022 waste plans of the three municipalities, ?Sveriges handlingsplan f?r plast? by the Government Office, and the 2019/904 EU directive constitutes the base of the study.

Problemformulering: Denna uppsats avser att besvara/beröra följande frågor:- Hur tolkar företag begreppet CSR, hur arbetar de med det samt om det finns några skillnader/likheter mellan företagen?- Hur kommunicerar företagen sitt CSR arbete via olika dokument, finns det några skillnader/likheter mellan företagen?Syfte: Uppsatsen syftar till att beskriva, förklara och jämföra hur utvalda svenska företag inom konfektionsbranschen kommunicerar kring begreppet CSR mot sin marknad via olika dokument, hur företagen tolkar begreppet CSR samt hur de arbetar med det.Metod: En fallstudie har genomförts på tre företag inom konfektionsbranschen på den svenska marknaden. Textanalys har genomförts på utvalda dokument såsom respektive företags hemsida, årsredovisningar från 2002 och framåt samt tillgängliga hållbarhetsredovisningar för att se hur företagen kommunicerar kring CSR. Även kvalitativa intervjuer med respektive företag har genomförts för att komplettera textanalysen och för att få ytterligare en synvinkel utöver kommunikation på hur företagen arbetar med CSR.Teori: De teorier som använts är Carrolls CSR ? pyramid samt företags olika ståndpunkter till CSR.

Studiens syfte var att validera en modifierad svensk översättningav självskattningsskalan som mäter anhedoni, Snaith-Hamilton PleasureScale. Syftet var också att utforska relationen mellan anhedoni och fatigue,stress, mental trötthet respektive dagtrötthet. Studiens deltagare, 60universitetsstudenter, utgjorde en icke-klinisk grupp som rekryterades medbekvämlighetsurval. Den modifierade svenska översättningen av Snaith-Hamilton Pleasure Scale uppvisade god intern konsistens, samt god konvergentvaliditet vid korrelation med anhedonirelaterade subskalor i Beck DepressionInventory. Vidare uppvisade Snaith-Hamilton Pleasure Scale starkapositiva samband med Fatigue Impact Scale respektive Mental FatigueScale, men inte med The Perceived Stress Scale respektive Epworth SleepinessScale.
