This project is a collaboration with Ett Klick för Skogen, a foundation that buys and preserves endangered forests in Sweden. There are several ways of helping the foundation, e.g. buy a tree and for this the buyer obtains a symbolic diploma. Many organisations uses this method to collect money and for me the lack of a thorough expressions are consistent. The objective with this project has been to renew these diplomas for Ett Klick för Skogen and in the long run increase the collections and preservation of endangered forests in Sweden.The idea has been to vivify hardwood trees in a new and rather poetic than pedagogic manner.

Jag har i min studie kommit fram till att representationen av kön fortfarande är relativt ojämlik. På de flesta poster, oavsett om det är i form av intervjuad eller reporter, är män i kraftig övervikt, och kvinnor är inte sällan statistiskt mindre till antalet.Min studie stämmer bra överens med tidigare gjorda studier på området, men har även vissa skillnader - framförallt ligger dessa skillnader i procentsatsen på det studerade materialet.Det tycks inte heller, baserat på min studie, vara någon skillnad om man studerar material från mer kommersiella kanaler, med exempelvis kanaler som är icke-kommersiella. This Bachelor thesis deals with fictional documentaries, and the aim is to show the aesthetics and the problems with the constructed reality that these films contain. The main focus is how this reality is constructed, which documentary aesthetic methods can be found and in what way you can see that it is a fictional movie and not a documentary. The analysis deals with the three movies, Rampljus, The Blair Witch Project and Påtryckaren. The movies are analysed from a documentary perspective and the method beeing used is constructed for this thesis to find some answers behind the fictional ocumentaries..

In this paper I have examined how the structure of society affects the characters in the movies of Gus Van Sant, and what there is that characterizes Van Sant as an auteur. I have also looked at the thematics and how the characters develop throughout from his first movie Mala Noche (US 1985) until one of his latest Milk (US 2008). Van Sant is open with his Homosexuality and those perspectives are of major importance for this study. He presents how his characters try to live a normal life in a society that is not made for them. I have chosen to analyze five different movies.

In the ever increasing media clutter it is hard for marketers to make their products stand out. New ways of reaching consumers are constantly arising. This study seeks to further investigate the phenomenon known as product placement, delimited to movies/television. By conducting an experiment we tested whether different presumptions matters for what effect a product placement will have on attitude and if these could be affected. We also looked at if the level of product integration effect attitude and realism enhancement.

In my project I worked with fluorescent color and fear as a theme together. It was based on my question for what happens when you take all the lights out and highlight a fear or phobia. I wanted to experiment and explore the course of event within the surface of a picture by using this kind of paint.I worked with illustration and pattern to bind the two pictures together. The aim was to investigate what is possible with the picture as a medium and work with contrast to make it as effective as possible. My goal was to make one poster of each fear and to make them work together as a series as it?s best.I asked myself many questions such as;? What happens to the surface, image and room when you use this color?? Will a new quality appear?? What happens when you mix two pictures together on a parallel level that only show in different kind of light?.

I resultaträkningen tycks praxis utvecklas mot att värdeförändringarna redovisas som en del av rörelseresultatet och att realiserade och orealiserade värdeförändringar redovisas som separata poster. När det gäller beräkningen och presentationen av värdeförändringar är en central fråga om de realiserade värdeförändringarna skall tas med i beräkningsuppställningen över fastighetsbeståndets värdeförändringar. Här är det dock svårt att se utvecklingen av praxis. En annan central fråga är oklarheterna kring redovisade investeringar. En bra lösning är att redovisa separata kolumner för sålda och helårsägda fastigheter.

Det som följde Dot.com kraschen vid början av 2000 talet resulterade till att även väl fungerande IT företag med en hållbar affärsidé, fick problem med finansieringen på grund av deras nya låga värdering (Bernhardsson, 2002). Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att jag vill undersöka och försöka kartlägga reklamtecknaren och artisten Georg Dahlbecks liv. Hur var det att leva och arbeta som reklamman och konstnär i Sverige första delen av 1900-talet? Jag vill även titta närmare på det Georg ägnade så gott som hela sitt yrkesverksamma liv åt, nämligen filmaffischer. Hur var det att arbeta på den stora filmdraken SF? Hur såg deras produktion av filmaffischer ut? Jag vill även försöka svara på frågan om arbetsprocessen förändrades med tiden.Mina frågeställningar:Hur levde och verkade Georg Dahlbeck?Hur såg SF:s filmaffischer ut och hur tillverkades de?Förändrades produktionen av filmaffischerna på något sätt?.

I detta examensarbete har a?tga?rder i ett energieffektiviseringsarbete av typen EPC analyserats. Umea? kommuns fastighetsavdelning startade sitt EPC-projekt 2008 syftet att energieffektivisera mer a?n 130 byggnader. Detta projekt sades da? vara det sto?rsta av sitt slag i Sverige.

In this essay I have studied how the film industry in the USA has worked with history in movies ever since the birth of film. I have also studied if Swedish teenagers are influenced by the contemporary reflections often showed in these movies. Furthermore I discussed how to work with contemporary reflections on film in a classroom.In these studies I used a group of teenager in the eight-grade. I stated of by asking the teenagers a verity of questions about movies and their interests in movies. Afterwards I showed them four different scenes from two different movies which all included reflections to today?s society.

The aim with this essay is to penetrate the opinions of how women should be represented on screen. I am using a selection of contributions from the gender debate that Lars von Trier´s movie Antichrist caused in Sweden in spring 2009. The focus of the debate was mainly about the way the female actress was displayed. The provocative thing considered by many was that the female part could be interpreted as evil and in connection with Antichrist. But is that a obvious negative way to present women? In a historical view the discussion have been constantly fluctuated when it comes to the ideas of the correct way to visualize women in the movies which have left us without a true answer to that question.I am interested in investigating what is considered today as the best way to represent women by Swedish debaters.By using Michel Foucault?s term discourse as theory in a text analyse I am trying to look trough their language and see their ideological position..

AbstractA beautiful death ? Manliness in four Japanese samurai moviesThis thesis deals with the samurai and his portrayal in Japanese historic movies and what kind of messages he conveys in form of masculinity to theater audiences. Four movies were chosen, two from the 1960s and two from the 2010s. The reasoning behind this was to look at two eras of samurai movies and if possible try to see differences between them. The history of the samurai, being a man and woman in modern Japan, R.W Connell and famous Japanese authors from different time eras acted as tools to try to answer the questions in hand.

The aim of this paper is to investigate what part film music plays in the creation of stereo-types in the production of Swedish cinema, in the 1990s and early 2000s. This period of Swedish cinema was largely defined through the visualization of life in the smaller provinces of the country. The results were reached through the analyzing of four important works of this era, representing different provinces and genres. The examined movies have shown frequent use of extreme characters and a somewhat hostile environment in search of an interesting story. The music is used in ways of describing class differences amongst the inhabitants and to set the gen-eral mood of the concerned provinces: an agent often working in the unconscious of the viewer in order to affect the final results..
