This thesis is based upon the work done at Westinghouse electric company (WEC)inVästerås during the spring semester of 2015 and describes the development of a quickcoupler with associated blade changing tool. These are meant to be used togetherwith a sawing tool that the company uses for the dismantling of nuclear reactors,which is performed under water.The aim of the thesis was to develop a complete manufacturing documentation withdrawings and related CAD models which Westinghouse later can use to manufacturethe tool and the quick coupler. It was also included in the assignment to, if necessary,modify parts of the saw tool to adapt these to the intended blade changing tool.A number of visits to the company's workshop was made during the time to study thesaw that the thesis is based upon. The purpose of these visits was to get a better ideaof the dimensions, construction and the field of use of the saw. On three of thoseoccasions various engineers and consultants accompanied us to discuss possibleproblems with different ideas.This was interspersed with information in the form of literature studies on quickcouplers to create a clearer picture of the nature of the task.When enough information had been gathered a functional analysis was made to dividethe main problem into subthis phase the idea and concept generating process took place.The methods used for this was mainly brain writing and brainstorming.

The Swine flu (H1N1) erupted in 2009 and wasquickly spread over the world and developed into a pandemic, with a great threat against people?s health. It was soon discovered that the H1N1?virus had a different character than the seasonal flu, since it especially affected younger individuals and the consequences from the disease were expected to be more severe. In Sweden it was decided to provide a free of charge vaccination against the H1N1-virus, and the Swedish vaccination ratiobecome relatively high compared to other countries.

Background: Ovarian cancer affects many women worldwide. Tumors that grow in the genitalia and pelvis have because of its placement a large threat to the sexual ability. Treatment for ovarian cancer may lead to the sexual possibilities inhibited. Sexual health is a state of physical, mental, emotional and social well-being related to sexuality. Sexual health can be experienced in spite of disease, dysfunction or infirmity.

Amyotrofisk lateralskleros (ALS) är en progressiv neurologisk sjukdom som har dödlig utgång. Sjukdomen innebär att motor neuronen som styr kroppens muskler förtvinar och detta leder till att musklerna först blir försvagade, och leder slutligen till förlamning och andningsinsufficiens. Syftet med litteraturstudien var att beskriva närståendes upplevelser av att leva med en person med ALS. I studien ingick 8 kvalitativa artiklar som analyserades med kvalitativ innehållsanalys. Analysen resulterade i fyra kategorier; Att sjukdomen medför förändringar i roller och begränsningar i livet; Att behöva stöd för att kunna hantera den nya livssituationen; Att sakna livet de hade, sörja livet de kunde fått och aldrig får; Att försöka acceptera situationen och samtidigt finna glädje och mening med livet.

Actinomycosis is a rare, deep-seated infection of the jaw of cattle that include the progressive enlargement of bone structures. It is caused by Actinomyces bovis, a gram-positive rod found as a normal commensal of the alimentary canal in otherwise healthy animals. This paper shortly describes Actinomyces bovis and its ability to cause "lumpy jaw" or actinomycosis in cattle. It will describe its pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment and some clinical presentations. The incidence of symptomatic actinomycosis infection is quite low in Sweden today.

AbstractAccording to a lot of people, movement contributes with a whole lot of positive things such as, learning, a better bodyknowledge, fellowship and koncentration. Movement has also proved to support many things regarding childrens development. According to Gun Sandborg-Holmdahl who is a teacher in pedagogic and Birgitta Stening who is an physical education teacher, movement and games commits many of the human senses wich contributes childrens ability to use their amagination and also spontanity. Games and movements have also shown to have good effects when it comes to childrens increased feeling to learn things. I have in this study, studied the South African school and their wiew on movement in school.

The genus Borrelia is a widespread, pathogenic pest and the causative of among others borreliosis or Lyme disease. The vector for the bacteria is the hard tick, Ixodes ricinus and the infection is transferred through a bite. Untreated, Borrelia may cause arthritis, heart damage or neuroborreliosis. Infection is made possible through different strategies for avoiding the body?s complement system.

Detta examensarbete har utförts på Saab Automobile AB i Södertälje på gruppen förfunktion och prestanda. Arbetet har bestått i att specificera, bygga och verifiera enmobil mätutrustning (hård- och mjukvara) som baserat på vevaxelnsvarvtalsvariationer relativt motorblocket, bland annat skall ge värden påförbränningsstabilitet, momentant resulterande moment samt momentant ochmedelvärdesbildat (IMEP - Indicated Mean Effective Pressure) cylindertryck.Utrustningen är tänkt användas vid provning och utvärdering av bilarnas motorer ifält. Den stora fördelen med verktyget är att det kan möjliggöra upptäckten aveventuella fel och problem som inte uppstår i provcell utan enbart vid körning på väg.En annan fördel med verktyget är att enklare mätningar som för tillfället kräverkostsam och tidskrävande körning i provcell, kan utföras med en relativt billigutrustning som är snabb och enkel att rigga samt endast kräver en person förmätning/utvärdering.Det slutgiltiga målet med utrustningen är att den skall fungera på alla märken ochtyper av motorer samt kunna ge värden på bland annat förbränningsstabilitet, IMEPoch cylinderindelat arbetstillskott med acceptabel noggrannhet.Den första versionen av mätutrustningen, resultatet av detta examensarbete, består avhård- och mjukvara som med hjälp av två stycken högupplösta pulsgivare verkande påsvänghjulets kuggkrans, samlar in och utvärderar mätvärden på vevaxelnshastighetsvariationer för en rak fyrcylindrig motor. Eftersom relevanta delar (hårdvaraoch utvärderingsprogram) bygger på inom Saab känd teknik, finns det godamöjligheter att fortlöpande anpassa samt utveckla utrustningen internt inom Saab..

This bachelor?s thesis examines costs of welfare services in municipalities of the region of Västra Götaland in Sweden. Previous research provided reasons to expect a link between costs of welfare services and demographic changes. Furthermore, Willam J. Baumol?s theory about ?the cost disease? also provided reasons to expect a link between welfare services and salary levels.

Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV?s) are nowadays greatly appreciated. The advantage over manned airplanes are great since UAV?s can be much smaller and therefore lighter. The goal of this project is to evaluate the performance of an environmentally friendly UAV using only lithium-ion batteries.

Vägtrafiken står för en allt större del av energianvändning och luftföroreningar. Att kunna beskriva de effekter på energianvändning och miljö som vägtrafiken ger upphov till blir därför allt viktigare. Modeller för simulering av personbilstrafik, energianvändning och utsläpp kommer i detta sammanhang att få en central roll.I detta examensarbete visar vi hur en modell för trafiksimulering kan användas tillsammans med en modell för beräkning av energianvändning och utsläpp vid analyser av infrastrukturförändringar i ett trafiknätverk. Vi tillämpar modellerna praktiskt på ett trafiknätverk över Norrköping och studerar vilken ytterligare information en beräkning av energiförbrukning och utsläpp kan tillföra planeringsprocessen.Den beräkningsmetodik för energiförbrukning och utsläpp som används kommer att ge oss information om bränsleförbrukning samt utsläpp av koldioxid, kväveoxider och lättflyktiga organiska ämnen från personbilstrafik.Resultat från tillämpningen på trafiknätverket över Norrköping visar att beräkning av utsläpp, när två planeringsalternativ jämförs, tillför information som kan få betydelse i planeringsprocessen, jämfört med om endast information om förändring i trafikarbete och upplevd reskostandsförändring varit tillgänglig. Utsläpp av kväveoxider och lättflyktiga organiska ämnen från fordon med inte fullt uppvärmd motor kommer påverka de totala utsläppen kraftigt.Att uppskatta de totala effekterna av en förändring i energiförbrukning och utsläpp av koldioxid är svårt om endast biltrafiken studeras.

AIDS is a huge problem in the world and it is spreading rapidly, especially in Africa. Botswana is one of the worlds worst-hit countries, with over one-third of the inhabitants infected by HIV/AIDS. The measures that have been taken to stop the spread of AIDS are to inform and enlighten people on how the disease is spread and how to protect oneself. The aim of this thesis is to investigate what different ways of informing people about AIDS different organisations make use of in Botswana. The thesis also addresses how some receivers of the AIDS information experience it.

Att vara anhörigvårdare till en person med Alzheimers sjukdom innebär förändringar inom familjen som kan vara svåra att hantera. Sjuksköterskan kan hjälpa anhörigvårdaren att lättare hantera rollen som vårdare genom att ge adekvat information och stöd. Syftet var att undersöka behovet av stöd och information hos anhörigvårdare till personer med Alzheimers sjukdom. Metoden var en litteraturstudie där fyra kvalitativa samt tio kvantitativa artiklar sammanställdes till ett resultat. Resultatet visade på ett stort behov av information och stöd under hela sjukdomsprocessen.

AimThis qualitative study will provide an insight to different teachers view on handball in two elementary schools. Handball is a competitive sport and has been played for over 100 years in different contexts in Sweden. Are there qualities in the sport that belongs in the school´s non-competitive education? How do they justify this sport according to the governing documents Lgr-11 that gives a lot of room for interpretation by the teachers?How do teachers justify handball based on the curriculum?What kind of qualities do the teachers highlight with this sport in the education?Do teachers perceive any differences with the new curriculum?MethodThe method has a qualitative approach. The interviews in this study had a semi structure character.

Rhodesian ridgeback is a dog breed that originates from southern Africa. The characteristic ridge (a dorsal ridge where the hair grows in the opposite direction to the general coat) is shared with an Asian breed, Thai ridgeback. The origin and inheritance of the ridge has been examined and defined. The ridge-mutation is a duplication that contains four complete genes, FGF3, FGF4, FGF19 and ORAOV1 and the 3´-end of CCND1. The ridge is inherited as an autosomal, dominant trait and predisposes for Dermoid sinus (DS), a disease that develops during embryogenesis.
