FÄr anstÀllda den motivation de behöver? : En studie om motivation pÄ organisationen Sida
Purpose: To examine if the management of the public sector organization Sida actively work with how to motivate their employees. We also examine which factors of motivation dominate amongst the employees.Method: A case study with a qualitative approach was conducted, using semi structured interviews and a survey to gather data. By connecting motivation theories with collected data, we analysed the results to find similarities, differences and relations between them.Theory: The study is based on motivation theories and other contributing research.Conclusions: The study shows that management actively work with how to motivate their employees. But the employees are not aware of how management work with motivation. The majority of the motivation factors are highly valued, but the dominating factors are personal growth, stimulating work assignments and the ability to know the results of their work..

This thesis concerns the subject of social media in the internal communication, how it can function to improve the communication among the coworkers. Good Old has been the web agency of our case study, through them we have gained understanding of the phenomenon. Media and communication theories and interviews have given us the foundation of the thesis.Our conclusion shows that it is beneficial to use social media internally in the type of company that Good Old is. Furthermore, the result shows that it can improve the communication, increase organizational learning and unity among coworkers. Finally social media can make organizations more effective..

The aim of this study was to understand how the professional in social work handles the media scrutiny. When the media writes about social services there is seldom anything positive written about it, many social services organizations are instead heavily criticized and scrutinized by the media. When social services organizations are scrutinized by the media there is a crisis at work, and therefore should be handled as a crisis. Therefore, we describe how a crisis management might look like in an organization. The study is qualitative therefore we have interviewed four municipalities in Sweden that have been exposed by the media at a national level.
Mediekonsumtion som verktyg för ungdomars identitetsbildning : En kvalitativ studie om hur ungdomar anvÀnder medier för att pÄverka andras bild av deras identitet
The purpose of this study was to investigate to what extent young adults use media to create the image of themselves. The questions we wanted to answer was as follows: what does the media use of young adults look like compared to their attitudes towards media content; what awareness do they have of other young adults attitudes concerning media content; and finally, how do these attitudes affect their own media use?Media consumption is a great part of the daily lives of young adults living in Sweden: the national average media consumption is seven hours a day, for 15-24 year olds. This provides a new way for young adults to express their identity - by showing their use of different media content, they can change other's perception of themselves.The method we used in our study was a combination between a quantitative and a qualitative method. We first made a survey in three classes with senior year high school-students, in a Swedish school.

Purpose: This study aims to investigate the conditions that prevail when companies put their marketing in social media with the purpose of creating a perception of the risks and opportunities it brings to businesses and ultimately how it may affect the corporate image and identity.Theories: The basis of the problem area are presented through a theoretical framework with the purpose of highlighting the notions of social media, communi- cation, marketing communication, groundswell, corporate identity and image.Methodology: To investigate the research questions this study adopted a qualitative approach in which the authors study the properties of a phenomenon in order to seek a deeper understanding of the problems we have presented. There is an exploratory approach to knowledge and the authors have chosen to conduct qualitative research interviews based upon three themes: driving forces, challenges and impacts.Conclusion: The study revealed that traditional models of communication are no longer applicable in social media. Companies are up for a challenge and must clarify their sole purpose when establishing communication in the social landscape. The general motivation for marketing in social media is making profit, however, building relationships is not a natural motive for most companies. The risks companies expe- rience is the exposure caused by social media and the study also reveals that this fear is firmly attached to their lack of knowledge of these new channels of communicat- ion and their primary areas of use which indicates that skilled employees plays a vi- tal role with their use of social media in their communication process.

The aim of this Master?s thesis is to examine how the lifestyle of youth between the ages of 15-17 is influenced by electronic media and also what view and opinions youth has regarding electronic media and lifestyle. We intend to examine how and when the youth use electronic media in their everyday lives, what purpose the electronic media has in the life of the youth, and finally what views and opinions regarding electronic media and questions regarding lifestyle the youth express. We as librarians and adults need more knowledge on how youth use electronic media and also what thoughts they have regarding media and lifestyle. We would like to bring some knowledge to the discussion in this area with our study to librarians as well as parents.

A lot of those companies have also realized the enormous marketing capabilities that social media provides. Syftet med studien Àr att undersöka vad lÀrare anser motivera elever i skolan och hurlÀrare beskriver att de planerar en motiverad undervisning. Vi valde att utgÄ frÄnkvalitativt arbetsÀtt och i undersökningen har vi intervjuat Ätta grundskolelÀrare medolika antal Är i yrket. Resultatet med undersökningen pÄvisar att relationen mellanlÀrare och elever har betydelse för elevers motivation i skolan. Under interjuvernaframkom Àven betydelsen av lÀrares Äterkoppling till elever samt skolmiljönsbetydelse för elevers motivation. Resultatet av undersökningen visade betydelsen avatt synliggöra syfte och mÄl med undervisningen för eleverna.

 Tediousness, fear and boredom are all part of everyday?s life for a student. How can a teacher counteract these feelings of boredom and replace them with a feeling of pleasure of learning? Students have to be motivated and want to go to school every day. By comparing student?s experiences of motivation this essays purpose is to create a theory about factors for motivation in education.
"Jag vill ha ett bra jobb" : En kvalitativ studie om nÄgra elevers och pedagogers uppfattningar om vad som pÄverkar elevers motivation till skolarbete.
Studiens syfte var att undersöka nÄgra elevers och pedagogers uppfattningar om vilka faktorer som pÄverkar elevernas motivation till skolarbete. För att fÄ svar pÄ dessa frÄgor gjordes en studie dÀr vi genom kvalitativa intervjuer lÄtit nio elever och fyra pedagoger frÄn tvÄ skolor tala om sina upplevelser av motivation i skolan. Studien innehÄller informanternas berÀttelser om vilka faktorer som inverkar pÄ motivationen, resultatet diskuterades utifrÄn Jerome Bruners motivationsteori och John Hatties studie om motivation. NÀr vi sammanfattade resultatet kunde vi ur samtliga informanters svar utlÀsa att elevers motivation var starkt kopplad till fyra huvudomrÄden; meningsfullhet, delaktighet, variation och upplevelsebaserad inlÀrning. Nyckelord: motivation, motivation, pedagogik, lÀrare, learning, elever, klassrum, arbetsformer.
