Hälsa och friskvård är vanliga begrepp idag. Dagligen finns det rubriker i tidningar om hur viktigt det är att motionera, äta rätt och leva hälsosamt för att må bra. För lite motion och ett stillasittande arbete kan leda till vällevnadssjukdomar såsom övervikt, som i sin tur ökar risken för högt blodtryck, typ II diabetes, hjärt- och kärlsjukdomar. Ohälsa får ekonomiska konsekvenser både för den enskilde och för arbetsgivaren. Företag kan spara pengar genom att arbeta med friskvård.

Ett av de största samhällsproblemen idag är den stigande ohälsan och de höga sjukskrivningstalen, bland annat på grund av faktorer såsom brist på motion samt ökad stress i både privat- och arbetslivet. Eftersom vi människor befinner oss på vår arbetsplats minst en tredjedel av dygnets alla timmar (exklusive restid till och från arbete) bör det ställas högre krav på företagen att de bidrar till att skapa en friskare personalstyrka. Ett sätt att göra detta är genom olika typer av friskvårdssatsningar i form av fysisk aktivitet. Skälet till att många organisationer drar sig för att göra sådana icke-finansiella investeringar är bland annat deras osynlighet i bokföringen. Uppsatsen syftar därmed till att visa ekonomiska beräkningar såsom kritiska värden och självkostnad samt hur ett företag kan motivera sin personal till att motionera regelbundet.

However, the picture-show was mainly produced by the author of this paper. For almost a century the debate about women as ordained servants in the Church of Sweden has raged on and on. The decision to open up the priesthood for both genders in 1958 was a milestone in the women?s liberation movement as well as it marks an important time in the church history. The debate has mainly been about how to interpret scripture, who has the right to do so, and so on. Feminist theology has become one way in recent decades to paint a wider and more nuanced picture of history and how to interpret the texts often used to repress women.This essay surveys some of the steps towards that decision, as well as it paints a rough picture of what leadership among women in the church could involve before ordination became an option.

AbstractWith increasing population and increasing demands for comfort and thus an increase in energy demand, it is necessary to examine various energy-efficiency measures. This work deals with the ability to control the flow through the heating system to achieve the desired comfort with as little energy as possibleA heating system contains of different parts, roughly speaking, you can divide it to three main components: Heat source, Distribution and Heat emitters. All components are working together to bring heat to the building. What is examined in this report are different ways of adjusting the flow and supply temperature and how it affects comfort and energy use in a building.At today ?s date the conventional method is to use a high flow through the heating system, which affects pressure drop and cooling of the fluid.

Med detta examensarbete ska vi försöka förklara vad dolda fel är, som kan upptäckas efter en fastighetsförsäljning. Vi tittar på frågan ur både säljaren och köparens synvinklar och vad fastighetsmäklaren och besiktningsmannen har för roller och ansvar i frågan. Med en artikel från tidningen Vi i villa ger vi några exempel på vad som kan tolkas vara dolda fel eller inte. Vi har också tittat lite på de försäkringar som finns och kan tecknas mot dolda fel. Slutligen har vi en spännande motion till riksdagen som visar hur många i branschen vill utveckla och förändra det nuvarande systemet.

Bullying is a serious problem for many children and youths in today?s society. Surveys have shown that more than 145 000 children and youths are concerned by the problem as a victim or as bullies. The purpose with this survey is to obtain a clear picture of the students? views of bullying in physical education and health.The main questions in this study are:·         Does bullying occur in a bigger extent within the subject physical education and health than within other subjects?·         In which elements during physical education lessons is the risk highest to be exposed to bullying?·         Are there any differences concerning the students? views of physical education in relation to what age they are. To acquire an understandable picture of bullying I have chosen to do a literature study where different kinds of definitions are presented.

Renal dysplasi (RD) is a congenital chronic renal disease affecting young dogs. It is a rather common disease that occurs in a large number of dogs and in some breeds there is a familiar incidence or suspected hereditary background. Both the etiology and pathogenesis are still unknown, but a theory about the cause of RD is that the two components that form the kidney, the uretheric bud and the metanephrogenic blastema, don´t interact normally in the embryo. Kidneys affected by RD contain fetal (immature) structures that are inappropriate for the state of development/age of the dog and abnormal structures caused by an abnormal differentiation. This study aimed to investigate written and oral narrative in adults. The participants consisted of 30 subjects aged 32-79 years. They produced one picture elicited and one free narrative, both written and orally. The written narratives were recorded in a keystroke logging program and the oral narratives were transcribed orthographically. Data from all the narratives were analyzed according to: number of words, words/minute, active writing time, total process time, number of characters and number of characters in the final text.

There is an expression called ?grief of climate? that refers to feelings of powerlessness and heaviness related to the environmental problems of today. A feeling that every move we make has bad consequences for nature. This essay is an investigation of how art in general and jewellery art in particular can be a way of discussing and visualizing current environmental problems and the complex relationship between human and nature. I am discussing how artworks dealing with a dark and dystopian picture of the relation can be seen as the memento mori of our time.

This master?s thesis looks at discourses that use the pronoun ?hen?. The media debate in Sweden over this pronoun in 2012 started in connection with the publishing of a children?s picture book: Kivi och monsterhund, by Jesper Lundqvist and Bettina Jansson. The essay investigates how eight librarians, who take an interest in and work with gender issues, talk about the pronoun hen and about this picture book and other books that have characters which are not named as a sex/gender.The essay takes a discursive perspective on reality and on the construction of knowledge and carries out a discourse analysis of the librarians? talk in the qualitative interviews that were made for this study.

The study?s starting point is that the picture of democracy provided to students has changed over time. The study aims to see how the view on democracy has altered in Swedish textbooks in social science. In order to examine this, I have studied seven textbooks, from 1945 to 2006, in social science.

In today?s consumption society, the image and core values of a company have become more important in order to secure the attention on the market. All entrepreneurs have to distinguish themselves in the extremely tight competition.This thesis examines how product photos can reach out to the consumers successfully. Both students have previous experiences from model shoots ? but now want to study the possibilities to sell a product without a human model.The purpose of the thesis is to examine how to convey core values by commercial product photos - how to best capture the attention of a customer.

Det finns idag cirka 300 000 personer med diabetes i Sverige. Varje år insjuknar cirka 200 vuxna av 100 000 vuxna i diabetes. Diabetes är en allvarlig sjukdom och medför en förkortad livslängd på grund av sjukdomen. Motion har vistats medföra positiva effekter och göra att personer med diabetes mår bättre då motion ger bättre balans i blodsockret. Det övergripande syftet med studien var att vinna mer kunskap om behovet av information om vikten av fysisk aktivitet riktat till diabetiker samt att vinna mer kunskap om behovet av åtgärder för att främja fysisk aktivitet.

This master thesis work was done by two students at Machine Design at KTH for Lesjöfors Stockholmsfjäder AB. The task was to develop a calculation program for gas springs. The program is going to ease the selection of gas springs for a given case of a lid that should be opened. The program is going to be used internal by sales people at Lesjöfors AB in Sweden and internationally. The program is therefore written in English.The program was developed in Microsoft Visual C# 2008 Express Edition.
