Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet med denna uppsats är att ta reda på hur man med annan utbildning utöver hälsopedagogexamen möter den arbetsmarknad som väntar samt få klarhet i hur hälsopedagogarbetet ser ut.Våra frågeställningar är följande:1. Vilka utbildningar, kopplade till arbetsområde, är meriterande utöver hälsopedagogutbildningen?2. Vad karaktäriserar hälsopedagogarbetet?MetodStudien är en kvantitativ enkätstudie.

Webbplatser för alla : Om tillgängligheten på folkbibliotekens webbplatser

The aim of this master thesis is to study if the websites of the Swedish public libraries are accessible to all people. According to the library law all people must have access to the public libraries and their information services. Today, when the Internet is one of the largest sources of information, it is important that all people, including those with different kind of disabilities, children, elderly, immigrants and people with old technical equipment, have access to the public libraries websites.We have in this study considered the graphic user interface, the language, the structure and the navigation possibilities at ten public library websites. We have from a checklist of our own, based upon the opinion of different experts such as Jacob Nielsen and Tommy Sundström, investigated the websites.The main finding of our study is that the websites are generally accessible even thou we found a lack of accessible for immigrants. Most of the websites had some pages in English, but none hade all pages in this language.

Animerad TV-vinjett : utsmyckning eller genre? En studie i animerad TV-vinjett

Today, the TV vignette is considered an embellishment to a TV program, despite its broad audiences and unique appearance. We wanted to find out if the television vignette has some common features and conventions but also find out how it relates to genre.We used a case study where we analyzed ten vignettes that we chose from certain criteria. We used a model based on image analysis that we modified to fit our needs. The main parts of each model consisted semiotics, imagery, dramaturgy and sound.We also made a couple of interviews with people who are active or used to work with vignettes. As a result we discovered that the television vignettes consist of certain conventions and that the vignette will not be considered as an independent genre, until the public has accepted it.

Virtuella vävnadsobjekt för medicinska träningsapplikationer

This Master thesis discusses the development of a virtual human soft tissue object for use in exercise applications of various medical procedures.The soft tissue object to be developed shall look like, feel like and behave as living human tissue. It shall give the user a realistic feeling of weight, softness and roughness, and shall behave in a correct way for exercise purposes. The soft tissue model is to be used in a three dimensional stereo graphic environment with haptic feedback. A prototype for practicing the procedure of inserting a catheter is built. The prototype is used to evaluate the potential of the virtual environment for medical exercise applications, and to assess the realism and usability of the soft tissue object.

Motionsidrott i skolan: ett utvecklingsarbete i syfte att öka elevens intresse för motionsidrott

Utvecklingsarbetet syftade till att öka elevernas intresse för motionsidrott. Detta genom att låta eleverna först prova på och sedan själv fördjupa sig i en valfri motionsidrott. Arbetet genomfördes under en sjuveckorsperiod på vår slutpraktik med två åttondeklasser. Vi planerade fyra lektionspass med fyra olika motionsidrotter. Motionsidrotterna som presenterades var: Terränglöpning, crosstraining, stavgång och gruppträning.

This thesis tries trough qualitative analyzes to illuminate advertising and its didactic aspects, how menstruation and menstruating women are portrayed over time. The method underlying the survey is didactic, diachronic comparative and hermeneutic. There will also be a feminist point of view on the material. The issue is about how the advertisement presents sanitary products and menstruation and how a menstruating woman is portrayed.The conclusion is that the image of a menstruating woman changes slightly while consolidating the ethos that menstruation should not be visible. The menstruating woman is in constant motion, always fresh and fragrant..

Motivation till fysisk aktivitet fortsätter att öka i Sverige. En ny trend som blivit allt mer populär är gruppträningen. Varför människor väljer att träna i grupp eller träna själv är en individuell fråga.  Det finns olika motivationsfaktorer till vad det är som påverkar människor att delta i gruppträning. Det här arbetet undersöker de psykiska, fysiska och sociala faktorers påverkan till motivation inom gruppträning. Syftet med studien är att undersöka gymmedlemmars motivation till gruppträning.

The aim of the study is to examine a book used as level-based teaching material, Denmagiska kulan (Wänblad, 2011), to analyse the progression within and between thedifferent levels, A, B and C, intended for use in grade 1. The material is designed so thatpupils at different levels in their reading development can share the same literature.Another aim is to study the connection between illustrations and text. This literaturestudy is based on both a qualitative and a quantitative method of analysis. Thequalitative method applies a readability analysis with the focus on the graphic form andthe language of the text. The quantitative method measures the LIX (readability index)of the texts.

It becomes increasingly more important that, as a new buisness, both to be seen and heard in an increasingly harder competition situation where the range of similar products and services increase. It requires a well planned and well thought visual profile to succesfully stand out on the market. To give a good impression, this profile should be both distinct and aesthetically appealing. In the making of a new profile it requires creativity to succesfully think in new directions and to separate from the competition.This practical report presents the production process for a designsolution to the new website Röstförmedlingen (Voice agency), a commission from the production and commercial bureau Bartos media. The task in this project was to create a graphic profile and a lofi-prototype that would represent Röstförmedlingen as a buissness.

Så länge människan mår bra och har hälsan tar hon livet för givet. Förr i tiden var fysiska ansträngningar ett måste för överlevnadens skull. Vi arbetade från morgon till kväll, stora som små, med tunga sysslor både hemma på gårdarna och ute i arbetslivet. Idag är arbetssysslorna mer stilla sittande och kroppen får inte den rörelse som den är skapt för som i sin tur kan skapa ohälsa. Förr arbetade vi ihjäl oss, idag "vilar" vi oss till döds.

As students of graphic design the craft of print is close to our hearts. One of the most essential mediums of the evolution of printing techniques is the poster. In a world where digital mediums are being utilized to a greater degree everyday, our love for the printed poster makes us wonder if the days of the poster are counted.What we did was to take a closer look at the role of the poster in promoting events. We focused on the Stockholm area and did qualitative interviews with three different event promoters. Live Nation which is an international live entertainment promoter, Dramaten which is one of Sweden?s most well respected theaters and Stockholm Live which is a stand up comedy promoter in Stockholm city.From doing this we learned that economics play an important part in defining the role of the poster.

Tjej & gay bland tidningsställ (Girl & gay among magazine racks)

The purpose of this essay is to examine the relationship between visual communication and female homosexuality within the field of magazine design. As the creative part of the project I have chosen to make a redesign of Lotus magazine, the very first Swedish magazine with lesbian and bisexual girls as the target audience. The questions of which the project is based on are: Which stereotypes, differences and similarities can be found in visual communication addressed to a heterosexual versus a homosexual target audience? What kind of design attracts non-heterosexual girls and how can I create a design for Lotus magazine that is appealing to lesbian and bisexual girls and yet still makes it possible to compete with traditional girls? magazines? In order to examine my research questions I have done literature studies within the field of gender and sexual identity in relation to visual communication. Additionally, I have analysed the design of competing magazines on the market and conducted a survey among representatives of the target audience of Lotus magazine..

Kortfilmen i filmen : En studie i Saul Bass anpassning av förtexter till det individuella verket.

In this paper, I have examined if and how Saul Bass adapts his title sequences to the respective film in the matter of genre, plot, milieu, feeling and appearance. Saul Bass was really a graphic artist who has made himself a long career in film production, foremost as a creator of title sequences. Of all the films Bass has created title sequences to, I?ve chosen six films, whose title sequences I analyse more thoroughly. I do this to point out the differences between them and thus also show how Bass adapt them to the individual work.

Technology has grown rapidly in recent years. At present, almost all social interaction are through computers and telephones. It is, however, not everyone who can manage these media. This applies mostly to elderly people who have not kept pace with technological developments. A major contributing reason is that the manuals are usually bulky and too technical for this group.The purpose of this paper is to develop a concept/prototype into a product that will facilitate the use of mobile phones for seniors.
