Frågeställningar:Hur interagerar människor ombord på en spårvagn?Hur kan mina observerade data sättas i samband med den inlästa teorin?Material och metod: Som teoretisk bakgrund använde jag mig huvudsakligen av Erving Goffmans begrepp och teorier angående interaktion, kommunikation och agerande samt Eviatar Zerubavel olika teorier om ?flow?, ramar, ritualer, kultur och uppdelning. Tidigare forskning belystes av två undersökningar som behandlade resande över lag men där vissa specifika delar behandlade interaktion och kommunikation.

This study examines the equity cost of capital between two periods distinguished by substantial differences in IPO activity. In light of the stemmed IPO flow to the Swedish stock exchange in 2012, this study regards the conjecture that the IPO count is related to the prevailing cost of equity capital for certain periods. By application of the Residual Income Valuation model the cost of equity capital is abstracted from sampled stock prices and compared at two points in time for which extreme highs and lows of IPO activity were observed. Using randomized samples from 1999 and 2012, significant differences between the estimated costs of capital are established. The findings indicate that the equity cost of capital, much as it may help influence, nevertheless plays a subordinated role in the going-public decision..

Studien syftar till att undersöka användandet av kosttillskott och kunskaperna om desamma på gym. En enkätundersökning har genomförts med 73 svarande varav 39 (53,4 %) var män och 34 (46,6 %) var kvinnor. Av deltagarna i undersökningen tog 53,4 % (n=39) kosttillskott. Större andel av männen, 64,1 % (n=25), än av kvinnorna, 41,2 % (n=14) tog kosttillskott. 69,2 % (n=27) av de som tränade för att bygga muskler tog samtidigt kosttillskott.

Flera olika utblåsrör i varierande storlekar samt olika former har testats för att avgöra om ändringar kan förbättra prestandan ytterligare.Simulationsresultat visar att det går att förbättra nuvarande konfiguration med 5,99 % om diametern på utblåsröret minskas från 75 mm till 70 mm med en bibehållen form på utblåsröret..

Bakgrund: Förstoppning är ett av de vanligaste symtomen från mag- och tarmkanalen och att drabbas av förstoppning kan vara en hemsk upplevelse. Tillståndet påverkar personen både fysiskt, mental, socialt och existentiellt, vilket leder till försämrad livskvalité. Syfte: Att beskriva vilka icke-farmakologiska åtgärder som finns för att förebygga förstoppning hos äldre personer över 65 år. Metod: Studien genomfördes som en allmän litteraturstudie där vetenskapliga artiklar söktes i databaser på Internet och manuellt i referenslistor. Åtta vetenskapliga artiklar inkluderades i studien och dessa analyserades och utformades till ett resultat.

Event is a phenomenon that lately has become more common, especially within the tourism industry. This essay is a study within human geography and with focus on the meaning and the design of events. The purpose with this essay is to examine and describe the concept of event and to show how events can influence a region. The city is a known seaside resort since the end of the nineteenth century.

This paper investigates the determinants of corporate cash holdings for a broad sample of Swedish non-financial firms in the 1999 - 2009 period. Using a fixed effect regression model, we find that firms with riskier cash flow hold relatively high ratios of cash to total assets. This is in line with both the precautionary motive and agency motive for cash holdings. Net working capital is found to be negatively related to corporate cash holdings. A result commonly interpreted as support for a negative substitution effect between net working capital and cash.

När en kassaflödesvärdering genomförs prognostiseras företagets värde genom att summera framtida kassaflöden och diskontera dem med företagets kapitalkostnad. På grund av att prognostiserade kassaflöden är uppskattningar inför framtiden karaktäriseras en värdering alltid av hög osäkerhet. Till underlag för prognoserna används en omfattande mängd information. För att ett tillförlitligt värde ska kunna beräknas är det viktigt att relevant och pålitlig information samlas in och hanteras på ett effektivt sätt. I dagsläget är det problematiskt att hantera omfattande mängder information och ett tillräckligt datorstöd saknas.

The aim of this report is to increase the knowledge and understanding of the problems within the production at AQ Enclosure systems, and thereby achieve a more stable flow throughout the whole process, a better working environment and better competition advantages. The internal flow along with the external cooperation is very important for the company, because it views flexibility and short leadtime as it is the most important competitive means. The part of AQ production that?s been investigated is the manufacturing of ATM-machines, where the costumer is Banqit. This company is a rater small company with about 4 % of the world market of ATM-machines.In order to achieve the aim of the report extensive interviews have been carried out with employees at AQ.

When one experiences a place, it is a complex composition of both social and spatial factors.One of these spatial elements, is scale, which is influenced both by the room size and itsproportions. This paper aims to explore both large and small scale concepts and thus increasethe understanding of how scale directly and indirectly affects the experiences and uses ofurban space.First, is a theoretical discussion of scale in relation to aesthetics and the differencesbetween real scale and perceived scale. Next, is an analysis of spatial perception usingexamples from two existing sites. One, which is understood to have been planned in a largescale and one which is understood to have been planned in a small scale.When preparing this paper, the focus quickly became the importance of scale as itrelates to street spaces. The perception of a street usually takes place while in motion, whichforces it to be perceived in sections.

The Rya power plant in Borås produces district heating, district cooling and electricity. The plant is owned by Borås Energi och Miljö AB and is run by Dalkia Facility Management AB.In order to get the best heat exchange from the district hot water a pair of twin pumps and a turbine circuit pump are used as return pumps. Turbine circuit pumps are used to increase the pressure through the heat exchangers at the power plant. The pumps are in use when the flow is over 2 000 m3 h-1 and during the summer when re-cooling is used to improve the effectivens of the heat boilers.Since the pumps, that are parallel connected, rotating at a fixed rate per minute, the pressure is regulated with regulating valves. This report shows that during the 4,300 hours that the pumps where in use, energy corresponding to 590 MWh was wasted.

Enligt den senaste folkhälsorapporten ökar den psykiska ohälsan i Sverige. Psykisk sjukdom kan försvåra personens delaktighet i vardagen, framförallt diagnoserna inom WHO:s ICD-klassifikation F20.0-24.9. Somatiska sjukdomar som kommer utav osunda vanor är vanligt hos den här gruppen.Hälsoprogram har utvecklats men man vet lite om hur den sortens undervisning har påverkat personerna som deltagit och om den har bidragit till någon förändring. Syftet var att beskriva just detta i en kvalitativ semistrukturerade intervjustudie där sex personer deltog.Materialet analyserades enligt innehållsanalys och det framkom ett övergripande tema ?Att delta i hälsoutbildning? samt tre kategorier och åtta underkategorier.Personer med psykisk sjukdom skiljer sig inte mycket åt från den övriga befolkningen.

Our lives in urban areas are becoming more and more inactive with negative effects on our mental and physical health. Natural environments and physical activity have the power to both prevent and reduce mental fatigue. Meanwhile we engage ourselves with physical activity, the nature fascinates us with its complexity. In April 2006, some of the visitors to the recreational area of Skrylle were asked to fill in a questionnaire which included questions about their habits within physical activity and the experience of nature. The questionnaires were then divided into two groups: those filled out by persons who exercise on regular basis (i.e. three or several times/week) and those who rarely exercise.

In health care today at Uppsala County Council the daily work involves spending time at the computer. IT-systems were implemented to support and aid the care givers in their work. Around these systems there is a support organization to support the users in using the system. The aim of this thesis is to investigate this organization in terms of how well it works and how successful it is in helping the users. This has been done by investigating the flow of information trough the organization and by focusing at the role of IT-coordinators with responsibility for support, process development, education and statistics.
