The Internet provides the common user with a variety of both traditional and non-traditional news sources, and a vast range of possibilities to contribute to the flow of information. By their participation in the production of information ordinary citizens can sometimes function as non-traditional news sources them selves and reach a potentially unlimited audience. The interactive nature of the Internet blurs the line between producers and consumers, and challenges traditional definitions of what counts as "news" as well as who qualifies as a "journalist". The main purpose of this thesis is to examine the potential consequences of this decentralization regarding the information behaviour of newspaper journalists and their perception of their professional role. The study consists of qualitative interviews with six journalists, employed by four of the leading Swedish newspapers, and a review of earlier research in the field.

The current planning philosophy is based on a political utopic modernism founded during the first part of the 20th century. The focus is, in planning a defined area, to maximize the internal efficiency and to create a competitivesociety. During the latter part of the former century globalization changed the context, thus creating the need for a new way of approaching physical planning. This paper shows that the historical and philosophicalmetaphor of flow can be applied to meet the demands in the global city. It also shows how the edge, as where interaction takes place, is an important part of the content that has to be defined.

Allt större och större andel företag väljer att presentera och förmedla varor och tjänster via e-handel. En viktig aspekt vid e-handel är att kunden känner förtroende för e-handelsapplikationen och företaget. Denna rapport redogör för vilken inverkan multimediala inslag har för förtroendet av en e-handelsapplikation, vid initialt användande. En undersökning har genomförts med hjälp av en kooperativ utvärdering av fyra e-handelsapplikationer vilka innehåller olika typer av multimediala inslag har.Resultatet av undersökningen visar att multimediala inslag inverkar positivt på förtroendet för e-handelsapplikationer. Däremot finns indikationer på att för hög grad av multimedialt inslag inverkar negativt på förtroendet för e-handelsapplikationer..

Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att undersöka vad sjuksköterskan kan göra för att hjälpa patienter med nedsatt glukostolerans att genomföra bestående livsstilsförändringar. Resultatet från tolv vetenskapliga artiklar sammanställdes med Leininger?s omvårdnadsteori om culture care som teoretiskt ramverk.

The essential thing about breaks has been in relation to time, body, movement, force and room during my examination. Through conversations high-school students from two schools have taken part in this study. The examination is based on conversations with the students and has focused on students? experiences of breaks, and is also carried through by the method of phenomenology. The results of my studie show that students - during their breaks - experience a feeling of allways heading for something and also that time seem to exist in three levels: filled time, non-filled time and flow regarding of time.

Syftet med det här arbetet var att ta reda på hur eleverna i undersökningen uppfattade sina vanor kring och betydelse av fysisk aktivitet och kost. Dessutom ville vi undersöka hur eleverna upplevde att skolorna arbetar med fysisk aktivitet utanför ämnet idrott och hälsa. Vi valde att använda oss av en kvantitativ metod, där enkäter var den undersökningsform som tillämpades. Anledningen till det var att vi ville undersöka en stor grupp elever för att kunna se tendenser och därför anser vi att den kvantitativa metoden passade bäst för den här studien. Resultatet i undersökningen visar att en klar majoritet av de elever som tillfrågades uppskattar sina motions- och kostvanor som goda.

The purpose of this thesis was to investigate different methods do measure velocity of pistons in pneumatic cylinders at Bosch Rexroth Teknik AB. Through information of velocity the adjustment of a cylinders damping can be done easier.A future transducer will be used by salesmen, service personnel and customers. This requires a sensor that is easy to apply and use. It is also desirable that the sensor is cheap. A number of possible methods to measure velocity have been presented.

The Swedish Textile industry has since the beginning of the 70-ties moved their production to countries with cheap labour further and further away. The production in the Baltic countries and Asia has become reality for many Swedish manufacturing companies. With today?s technology the communication with remote countries has ceased to be a problem. The difficulties have instead turned out to be more focused on transportation of goods and just in time deliveries to Sweden.

Tre badhus som uppfördes under folkhemsbygget under 1900-talets första hälft analyserades i tre svenska städer, Göteborg, Malmö och Luleå. Där framgick det tydligt att fokus låg på motionen och simbanan är byggnadens självklara mittpunkt. Bastun och tvagningen får sett till utformningen en sekundär roll, men funktionen är likväl viktig.

The thesis in product development ? mechanical design includes 15 credits and was carried out during the spring of 2014 at Semcon in Eskilstuna. The task is to construct a special machine for positioning and orientation of a key blank found in six different shapes, the construction is a part of a larger machine for encoding the key blank where a pick- and-place device or robot pick up the key blank and deliver it further in the process. The entire construction is designed for ASSA OEM Gothenburg.In order to accomplish the project the first step was to analyze the existing solutions to similar problems on the market in a current situation analysis to create an understanding of the problem. This was followed by a flow analysis and a functional analysis to get a deeper understanding of the problem and structuring the machine's process flow and its features.

This thesis is a qualitative study in which 12 award-winning printed adverts, awarded with either a Swedish ?Guldägg? or an international Clio Award, have been analyzed from a rhetorical perspective. Visual rhetorics were used to analyze the adverts in order to expose the rhetorical concepts and to find out whether the rhetorical concepts represented in the Swedish adverts are the same concepts represented in the international adverts. One of the conclusions drawn is that pathos-arguments, a rhetorical concept where the senders allude to the emotions of the receivers, are the most prominent in both Swedish and international adverts, but are used in different ways. Another conclusion drawn is that the adverts are overall characterized by their messages not being explicit.

Trots mångåriga ansträngningar och även om relativt många hundar röntgas i Sverige idag, så orsakar armbågsleds- och höftledsdysplasi fortfarande stora problem inom många hundraser, t ex labrador retriever. Armbågsledsdysplasi (AD) och höftledsdysplasi (HD) klassificeras som utvecklingsrubbningar. Armbågsledsdysplasi (AD) är ett samlingsbegrepp för sådana förändringar i leden som redan hos den unga individen kan leda till osteoartros (OA). Armbågsledsartros innebär en onormal förslitning av ledbrosket i armbågsleden vilket ger upphov till benpålagringar. Olika typer av tillväxtrubbningar i och runt leden är orsak till förslitningen av ledbrosket och de senare uppkomna pålagringarna.

Övervakningssystem har haft en viktig roll i samhället under en lång period. Syftet med dessa systemen har inte ändrats, det är alltid säkerhetsaspekten som har varit huvudpunkten. Effektiviteten på ett övervakningssystem beror oftast på den mänskliga faktorn, någon måste bearbeta bildflödet som spelas in för att dra definitiva slutsatser. Under senare år har dessa övervakningssystem, i takt med teknologins utveckling, blivit mer intelligenta. Metoder som tillämpar automatisk analysering av en given bild har introducerats, vissa av dessa tekniker har redan hunnit bli en standard. Denna studie ska utveckla en prototyp som använder sig av tekniken och stresstesta för att identifiera eventuella brister.

It is important to understand the process of appraisal of a business in order to establish its value. The purpose of our thesis is to establish which methods and models are used when evaluating a business and investigate the factors that may affect the value and price tag of a business. We have used a qualitative approach by conducting both indepth interviews and a survey as well as reading literature within the field. The main conslusion in our findings is that the common practice of discounted cash flow is widely used when bestowing a monetary value for a business, and in order to raise the value a well established customer relationship was the single most important factor. As far as lowering the value, the answers were of such a wide spread that a single factor could not be attributed.
