Diabetes typ 2 är en snabbt ökande sjukdom som innebär personligt lidande och höga vårdkostnader. Fysisk aktivitet har visat sig vara effektivt för att förbättra diabetikerns hälsa. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka om personer med diabetes typ 2 har känndedom om att fysisk aktivitet har en positiv effekt på deras hälsa och om de använder sig av fysisk aktivitet som en del av sin egenvård. Enkätstudien genomfördes på 53 patienter vid sex vårdcentraler i Boden och Piteå. Inklusionskriterier: diabetes typ 2, ålder under 55 år.

Syftet med studien var att undersöka medarbetares inställning till organisationsförändring och sina chefers ledarskap. Undersökningsgruppen bestod av 322 personer. Enkät innehållande mätinstrumenten MLQ, LOT-R, PANAS och S/E användes. De anställda fick ta ställning till påståenden gällande ledarskapet på arbetsplatsen, inställning till förändring och hur de hade känt sig som en konsekvens av en omorganisation. Denna kunskap ses som viktig för att förstå hur chefer bör förhålla sig till de anställda för att lyckas i sina roller.

SyfteStudiens övergripande syfte var att undersöka vilka skäl som finns till att avstå från hälsotester genomförda inom företagshälsovård. För att synliggöra och öka förståelsen för dessa skäl, var studiens delsyften att undersöka bortfallsgruppens inställning till hälsotesteroch hälsosatsningar, där hälsotester ingår som en del.MetodGenom kontakt med Liv&Lust AB och Preem Petroleum AB gavs möjlighet attgenomföra en studie av bortfallsgruppen, dvs. de individer som arbetar på Preem, Huvudkontoret på Gärdet i Stockholm, och som avstått från att, på frivillig basis, deltaga i Liv&Lust Första Hälsoplantest under 2002-2003. En kvalitativ intervju genomfördes med nio personer ur bortfallsgruppen under våren 2003 på Preem:s huvudkontor. Intervjuerna var halvstrukturerade och deras längd varierade mellan cirka 35 till cirka 60 minuter.  Resultaten kategoriserades först efter meningsbärande utsagor och analyserades därefter utifrån Antonovskys KASAM-modell innehållande de tre komponenterna: meningsfullhet, begriplighet och hanterbarhet.ResultatEn vanlig orsak som uppgavs som skäl till att avstå från Hälsoplantest var tidsbristpga.

The purpose of this study is to study the Swedish Tax information campaigns in 2010-2012. Questions about what worked better than others, and what impact this has had has been set up. The study shows that work has essentially divorced by 2011,worked with a significant amount of local material. This work had an impact on mass media published locally in newspapers. This work fits well with research in the area showing that messages should be tailored to the target audience and capture the target group's interest.

Det generella sambandet mellan riskuppfattning och riskbeteende undersöktes. Etthundratrettiofem enkäter delades ut till studenter på Sjuksköterskeprogrammet sjuksköterskeprogrammet på Högskolan Kristianstad. Resultatet i denna studie visar att det fanns ett signifikant generellt samband mellan riskuppfattning och riskbeteende. När riskuppfattning och riskbeteende korrelerades inom varje hälsodomän fanns ett signifikant samband inom domänerna rökning, motionering och användning av mobiltelefon, medan det inte fanns något samband inom domänerna solning och alkoholkonsumtion. Starkast var sambandet mellan uppfattning och beteende inom domänen motion.

The aim of this study was; from a group of boys and girls description and interpretation of interaction with other young people, personnel and the environment of the youth centre illuminate how the social gender are constructed and maintained at the youth centre. In this study we have tried to analyse the phenomena from an intersectionalistic perspective. Except gender, the analytic category social class have been tried to capture. Our theoretical standing point is social constructivism. Institutionalized structures in our society are constructed by humans, gender is not only a biological construction it is also a man created construction.

The purpose of this thesis was to create a saw pattern program for the sawmill industry. I have chosen to focus on the module that describes the shrinking on the wood. There are several theories about how the wood deforms by shrinking. Several hypotheses were simulated in the program and after testing them I decided to use only one of them (hypothesis C). The program is written in Visual Basic .NET and I choused that program language because it is easy to do changes in the layout. Another great advantage in Visual .Net is that you can mix different languages in the same program.

The aim of this study was to compare activity, lying down and getting up behaviour, weight gain and cleanliness in heifers in cubicles versus on deep-litter. The study was conducted from autumn of 2005 until autumn of 2006 in a commercial organic dairy herd with 340 cows. In 2005 the farm rebuilt half of the young stock accommodation from deep-litter pens to cubicles. The experiment used 150 heifers of the breeds Swedish Red, Swedish Holstein and crossbreeds between these, all born on the farm. The animals were divided into three blocks based on breed and within each block they were sorted after increasing age. The youngest heifer in each block was randomly allocated to one of two groups, cubicle or deep-litter pen.

Dagens samhälle blir allt mer inaktivt. Motion är inte längre en naturlig del av många människors vardag, vilket leder till att varje individ måste ansvara för sitt eget motionerande. Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur gymnasieelevers motionsvanor ser ut på fritiden. Detta har gjorts genom en enkätundersökning som besvarats av 241 elever på en gymnasieskola i södra Sverige. Studiens resultat redovisas i tabeller och visar att det finns skillnader mellan pojkar och flickors motionsvanor på fritiden.

This is a qualitative study about Art transformation and commodification in the digital age. The study applies a rhetoric analysis with the aim to understand how art sellers, gallery owners and entrepreneurs take part in this transformation process through their websites? presentation texts ?about us?. The analysis is related to communication theories but it is also inspired by other theories such as Gramsci?s hegemony theory and Bourdieu?s cultural critical theory.

The aim of this undergraduate thesis was to study the experience of participation in support groups for children of mentally ill parents. The research questions dealt with how the children and the adolescents talked about the knowledge, that they believed having assimilated in the support groups. The knowledge concerned mental illness and the possible impact on children when having mentally ill parents. The research questions also dealt with how the children and the adolescents talked about the meaning of being in a group. Qualitative semi structured interviews were used in order to capture the respondents? subjective experiences.

The goal of this project was to create the music video for swedish pop/rockband Antennas? single Youngbloods, from their album Feeling Feline Tonight(2009). The video was made through animation, collages, photography andillustration. The main focus for the video was to create an independent visualstory and to implement an investigation of how different technics for creatingand documenting images and motion result in different interpretations of thecontent. The work was characterized by an active search for contrasts andcontradictions.My approach to the project was to work with a child?s curiosity, but withthe discipline of an adult.

This Bachelor ?s thesis is about the conversations and meetings that take place in the mobile library. The research questions will try to answer: What do the staff talk about with each other, what conversations do the staff engage in with their users and what do the users talk about amongst themselves? The thesis main question is trying to answer of what is characteristic for the mobile library ?s conversations and meetings. Is the mobile library as a meetingplace any different in comparison with the city library? Focus lies on the eveningtours of the mobile library and excludes those tours that service schools and learning-centers.

Kan rörelse användas för att engagera användare och få dem att förlänga sin vistelse på en webbsida, det är denna studies frågeställning. Studien hade målet att ta fram ett underlag i form av guidelines som visar hur rörliggrafik påverkar engagemanget hos användare. För att ta fram dessa guidelines så gjordes en Explorativstudie med 16 personer i åldrarna 16 till 24 år gamla. Dessa 16 personer delades in i två grupper och varje person fick utvärdera totalt 4 webbsidor vilka hade olika nivåer av rörlighet i kombination av interaktion. Studiens resultat visade att rörliggrafik bidrog till ökandet av engagemang hos användare när de besökte underhållningswebbsidor.

This Masters thesis aims to examine how Swedish public libraries deal with the new challenge of evaluating web resources. In order to study this we have asked staff involved in gathering links for the libraries web sites to participate in a survey concerning how they go about choosing links. Apart from trying to capture this procedure it has been our purpose to establish whether the libraries feel they should provide their patrons with evaluated links at all and in what way they are influenced by other libraries or other main figures involved when choosing a link. We were also interested in the differences between libraries with large and small link collections. When defining evaluation, we have only focused on content.
