The neo-classical conception of the market place does not provide a framework to account for ethical or moral action. As a result, the neo-classical model is unable to explain the impact of ethical and moral issues on business sustainability present in the modern economy. To address this limitation, this thesis investigates whether theories of ethics can help explain the motivations and actions of stakeholders within the field of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). In addition, the thesis explores whether theories of ethics are presented differently within aspects of the stakeholder model. Semi - structured interviews were conducted with various stakeholders within the CSR sector, including a NGO, a commercial firm and a CSR consultancy firm.

Examensarbetet handlar om skolans värdegrund, vad värdegrunden innehåller och hur detta innehåll kan användas i skolans dagliga verksamhet. Syftet med examensarbetet var att undersöka hur innehållet i värdegrunden kommer till uttryck i skolans arbete. De frågor vi ställde var, om en undervisning som på ett medvetet sätt behandlar värdegrundens innehåll ökar elevernas förmåga, att dels samtala om etiska problem och dels motivera sina ställningstaganden. Dessutom ställde vi frågan, hur lärarna förhåller sig till arbetet med och innehållet i den värdegrund som Lpo 94 anger att skolan ska förmedla till eleverna. Vårt resultat visar att eleverna tyckte att det var viktigt att prata om etik och moral och om hur man uppför och beter sig mot andra i sin omgivning.

The more specific aim is, from a LIS point of view, to map knowledge related discourses with the focus on pregnancy, in discussion forums on Swedish health related web sites. The following main questions in this paper are: (1) a) What discourses on pregnancy knowledge can be found and b) how are they expressed? (2) What are the functions of the recognised discourses? and (3) what are the relations between the identified discourses? The theoretical and methodological starting-point is discourse theory with the main focus on discursive psychology according to Wetherell?s and Potter?s theoretical and empirical work.

The following essay aims to determine what textbooks and teaching media educators in the county of Västerbotten use when teaching the relation between religion and science. Based on educational science theory and through analyzes of factual texts, the teaching materials was examined to determine how much focus they put on the thematic of religion and science. This investigation is about how teachers in school can motivate and create interest for science among younger children. Teachers were interviewed about attitudes to their subject and how this affects their lessons.I have also tried to find out, both by interviewes but also by studying litterature, what the most important thing is to teach in science, which knowledge is necessarry in the future and why.My result indicates that teachers find science both interesting and important but at the same time they also think it is a difficult subject to teach even if they are educated.
