Undervisning i media : med fokus på elever med läs- och skrivsvårigheter
This paper is based on observations made in the classroom, interviews and studies ofliterature.The observations that I made during my practical training period made me believethat pupils with writing and reading problems succeeded more often with the methodsof teaching used in media education than with more traditional teaching methods.Through this study I hope to specify and define the factors that were the reasons for this. In doing so I wanted to show that you could adapt the teaching methods to reach more pupils with different kinds of learning styles.I have come to the conclusion that the following factors made the pupils with writing and reading problems succeed more often in subjects related to media education:Variety, time spent, the pupils? interests and the equipment used..
En syn på det livslånga lärandet : Litteraturstudie av åtta studentuppsatser
In this essay, we examine what kind of themes that are found in essays written by students who have studied within the teacher programme at universities in Sweden. The goal of our essay is to find themes that are reoccurring in eight student essays, and that can be understood through the concept of lifelong learning. Our essay combines three research methods. It is mainly an essay where we utilize qualitative reading research, but we have also gained inspiration from hermeneutics and the critical thinking.The result of our study shows that students within the teacher programme in Sweden are well aware of the strong points found within the concept of lifelong learning. Three themes were found that were reoccurring within all essays.
Bibliotekariens kunskap: En textanalys av SOU 1969:37
The aim with this Masters thesis is to examine the professional knowledge of the librarian. The method used is text analysis of a state public investigation, SOU 1969:37, that concerns librarian education. The theoretical starting point is a theory of knowledge thats descended from Aristotle. Three different forms of knowledge are central concepts in the theory: the theoretical, the practical and the ethical. The main issue in this thesis is: In what ways did the investigators look at the librarians knowledge? Was it in a changeable period of time? In that case, what reasons could there be? The conclusion shows that educational political changes were affecting the whole educational sphere at the late 1960:s, and in the beginning of the 1970:s, including library education.
Marknadsföring på recept : Läkemedelsmarknadsföring ur ett moraliskt perspektiv
Syfte: Det övergripande syftet med denna uppsats är att ur ett moraliskt perspektiv ge en vidare och mer ingående förståelse för marknadsföringen av läkemedel samt att utforska om det finns anledning att skilja mellan reklam och information i läkemedelsbranschen.Metod: Problemet i denna studie belyses via en kvalitativ ansats. De metoder som använts för datainsamlingen har varit semistrukturerade intervjuer med representanter från Läkemedelsindustriföreningen samt observationer av annonser i Läkartidningen och reklamfilmer på TV4. I arbetet har det använts en egenframställd mall för att koda och sammanställa datamaterialet från reklamobservationerna. Det empiriska materialet från både intervjuer och observationer har sedan analyserats via kontraproduktivitetsteorin samt en modell för etisk revision.Resultat: Marknadsföring av läkemedel bedöms av författarna till denna studie vara en moraliskt rättfärdigad handling. En av anledningarna till detta är att läkemedelsföretagen genom sin forskning bidrar till ett ökat välbefinnande för samhällets medborgare. Forskningen finansieras till viss del av försäljningsintäkter, vilka i sin tur har större chans att öka då marknadsföring bedrivs.

Research indicates that a more hands-on education in mathematics could improve how students relate to mathematics. Laboratory mathematics is a way of making mathematics more concrete. How is the purpose of laboratory mathematics perceived? This thesis has its focus on the pupils? perceptions of the purpose of laboratory mathematics, but the intention of the teacher involved is also investigated. The main research questions asked were:What is the teacher's definition of laboratory mathematics?Which is the teacher's purpose in using laboratory education?How do the students perceive the purpose of the laboratory teaching of mathematics?To answer the questions, I conducted a series of qualitative interviews.

The state of health in Sweden demonstrates a high average length of life at the same time as diseases, due to luxurious living, grew into more and more widespread public health problems. Finding out that information is not enough to get man to live healthy has been conducive to a pedagogic based health education. An illustration of such an education is Public health pedagogy at the University of Kristianstad. The question is, does this education correspond to the new claims that society lays to health work? Our purpose was to throw light upon how individuals, qualified as public health pedagogues, look upon their work on one hand and how different clusters of thought from their study programme are conceived as activated in their professional exercise on the other.
Lärarstudent och dyslektiker : En kvalitativ undersökning om fyra lärarstudenters erfarenheter av dyslexi under deras studier
It is very important to gain knowledge and better understanding for people with dyslexia in other words people with reading and writing difficulties. I have therefore chosen to learn more about this subject. In my study, I have focused on adult people with dyslexia.This study is about four student teachers different experiences of dyslexia during their studies. The aim is to find out how the student teachers diagnosis has affected their education situations of these areas; the need for help, environmental significance, management of the different reading and writing tasks in their education and the advantages they believe there is in their future work as teachers.As a research method I have used qualitative research and qualitative interviews. The participants in this study are four female persons in the ages of 23 to 25 years old.The results showed that the need for assistive help devices varied because of the student teachers different experiences.

The aim of this study is to find out in which way the education about climate in school is taught and how the students experience the world situation today. There are various theories about the greenhouse effect and its origin and these theories should be addressed to ensure that students get a broader understanding of how climate change occurs. This includes the natural phenomena and also the human impact on climate change. Students in school are a source of concern that only human are the cause of global warming, and know little or almost nothing about the natural phenomena of global warming. I will mention what has emphasized in the national steering documents in the case of environmental education at school.I have used a qualitative method, where interviews and document analysis were used as techniques. Ytterlighetens röst : En socialpsykologisk studie med syftet att vidga förståelsen kring det sociala fenomenet ondska med utgångspunkt från familjekulturens betydelse för människans socialisering
Människan är en social varelse och socialisering är ett elementärt och komplex mellanmänskligt samspel, som först och främst formas i den familjära sfären. Då syftet med denna studie har varit att vidga förståelsen kring det sociala fenomenet ondska ? började vi vår resa med att distansera oss från fenomenet för att istället fokusera på vad som händer i socialiseringens vagga. Det problematiskt funna är att människor numera är mer asocialt responslösa än socialt responsiva vilket innebär att människor mer än någonsin finns för att fungera i härskande samhälleliga system än att finnas till för varandra. Och följden, den nutida människan socialiserar och socialiseras in i emotionellt lidande och skapar en förträngd medvetenhet som förs vidare från generation till generation, något som i bästa fall leder till ytterligheter.
Utformning av laboration inom Fourieranalys vid Vetenskapens Hus : Musikens matematik - En matematisk förståelse av ljud- och musikinstrument
This report documents the process of designing a laboratory exercise in Fourier analysis at Vetenskapens Hus (House of Science) in Stockholm. The lab is designed for high school students studying science or technical education. It focuses on the physicalunderstanding and mathematical description of sound, in particular music. A model of such a lab is presented in this work; containing a review of the mathematical theory, summary of educational research in the field, descriptions of the design process and of the investigativework that led to the final result. The designed material for the lab includes developed computer programs, visit leader tutorial and description for teachers. .
Etik och värdegrund i skolan : några lärares tankar och metoder
Detta examensarbete behandlar lärares sätt att se på och undervisa i etik, samt lärares påverkan på barns etiska och moraliska utveckling. I arbetet kommer det fram att lärarna i min undersökning ser som sin främsta uppgift att stödja barnens utveckling, så att de ska klara av framtida konflikter och problem. Detta sker bl a genom etikundervisning, ofta i form av diskussion eller värderingsövningar. Sex i skolbiblioteket : Kunskap, makt och konstruktionen av sexualitet på svenska skolbibliotek
The purpose of this essay is to investigate the construction of sexuality in Swedish school libraries through the lens of Foucault?s concept of power/knowledge. Five libraries were investigated, using two kinds of method: discourse analysis of titles, classification codes and subject headings of sex education materials, and qualitative interviews with librarians working at each of the libraries. Most sex education materials were classified within the medicine section, illustrating the continued authority of medical discourse in matters concerning sexuality. Books for younger audiences were often written for either boys or girls, reproducing a binary understanding of gender.

This paper is intending to examine the intercultural aspects of two teaching aids used in Swedish schools today. How does the material take the students prerequisite in consideration? Is every student included in the material in order with the standpoint and laws in the Swedish school system? And if they are not, who is the outsider in this occasion? With intercultural pedagogy lies the idea that everyone is unique and that teachers has an opportunity to develop and make student grow mentally. Intercultural endeavor is to learn to accept our differences and see them as assets instead. Multipel regressionsanalys av variabler som paverkar BNP
In this report a model was constructed in order to determine how a number of covariates influence the gross domestic product, GDP. The covariates were chosen depending on their expected influence on GDP, for example education and life expectancy. The data used in this report are collected from the World Bank. The model to describe GDP has been calculated using multiple line arregression. In order to reach a reliable final model the number of covariates has been gradually decreased to eliminate insignificant covariates.
