"I will go now to my pyre" : Isaks bindande läst genom J.R.R. Tolkiens The Lord of the Rings
This paper investigates the science fiction novels of Swedish crime writer Per Wahlöö, most famous for his collaboration with his writing partner Maj Sjöwall on the ten Martin Beck mysteries. During two important years, 1964 and 1968, Wahlöö wrote the novels Murder On the 31st Floor and The Steel Spring, set in a near future land ruled by a social fascist power structure where political opposition is eradicated. The pretexted notion of this paper is that these novels consists of extensive quantities of criticism against the Swedish welfare state and the Monopoly-capitalistic Swedish press during the sixties. Through the lens of science fiction theory and the notion of the novels as historical sources this paper concludes that PerWahlöö´s science fiction becomes a bridge between the classic Swedish detective novel and the new social critic crime fiction in the style of Sjöwall-Wahlöö and others. The novels are also representations of the historical process in the mid-sixties during the radical turn: the sci-fi novels as social criticism of the contemporary society ? an utopian flare.

Externhandel och mellankommunalt/regionalt samarbete utifrån ett hållbarhetsperspektiv med fokus på delregionen Södertörn
In Sweden according to the planning and building Act municipalities have planning Monopoly. The question about shopping centres in the outskirts of cities is a regional issue, because they attract customers from a large area. Municipalities often find it hard to assert themselves against large commercial companies when it comes to their establishing new retail outlets on the outskirts of cities. Without a regional co-operation there is a risk that municipalities can be played up against one another, so that more and more companies are given permits without the municipalities having taken the strategic consideration necessary for a long term sustainable development. The focus in this work is on four municipalities in the Södertörn region (Södertälje, Botkyrka, Huddinge and Nynäshamn).

AbstractCopyright is designed to not interfere with society's general and overriding interest of effective competition. An effective market competition benefits consumers by lowering prices, raising the quality and expands the range of goods and services. The purpose of the paper is to investigate if the collecting societies licensing violates competition laws. On the basis of the investigation regarding the bill for a new Swedish copyright law (URL), mainly the new wording that regulates the license agreement, corresponds to the EU competition rules and customs within the area. The collecting societies licensing violates the competition laws in the following cases? Discrimination of members because of nationality? Authors transferring their sole rights to global exploitation? The collecting society have the right to manage the rights after the author have left as a member? Users that are established abroad do not get access to the repertoire of the collecting societies, the same goes for concerted practice if this is the purpose or result? Parallel behaviours that cannot be explained objectively? Dividing the market? Fixed Prices? Refusal to sign multi-territorial licenses? Apply different conditions for equivalent transactions resulting in competition disadvantages for a company that cannot be justified by reasonable causesCurrently there are no indications that the new bill to a new URL violates EU law. The author of the paper thinks this may change if the collective management extends, so that other member states get the extended license agreements, then the single market is affected by the competition restriction that the new bill to the URL mean.
Skadestånd vid otillbörlig inkassoåtgärd : en rättsdogmatisk respektive rättsekonomisk analys
Towards the end of the 1960s, the credit financed purchase was well established in Sweden. The Swedish households were able to purchase goods, which had been considered unnecessary, or even luxurious, in the past. On the other hand, effective means to handle the increasing amount of debt and potential debtors were introduced; credit rating was registered, trade with insecure claims increased and if debtors could not fulfil their obligations, the creditors often used harsh or undue methods. By introducing Inkassolagen (1974:182), the legislator hoped to regulate the debt recovery process and ensure the fair treatment of debtors. The legislator also introduced liability for damages caused by a creditor in the collection process.
Tillämpning av naturvårdsavtal :
Nature conservation agreement (NCA) is a way to voluntarily protect and manage nature for limited time-periods. The agreement is settled between the government and a landowner. All public authorities can represent the government but it is only the Swedish Forest Administration who does that regularly (because it is the only authority with economic resources for that purpose). Therefore, NCAs are almost only used to protect forested nature.
The government agencies have experienced NCAs for about ten years and it is now time to examine how they are applied in the forests. This study is based on a computerized questionnaire to the persons responsible for the LEKO-projekt.

Turbulent market conditions with, among other, deregulation of the Monopoly of fixed telephony and a huge technical evolution, which has led to an increase in competition, is the reason to why we have chosen to study the telecom market in Sweden. As a benchmark in our study the attribution theory will be used.
Mellan fri vilja och datadriven exploatering: En studie om drivkrafter, medvetenhet, makt och ansvar inom onlinecasinomarknaden
This essay examines the limits of marketing strategies in the online casino industry,
focusing on how data-driven and advanced marketing practices influence consumer
behavior and contribute to problematic gambling consumption. By observing the
online casino industry, the study identifies how companies use sophisticated data
analysis methods and psychological techniques to attract and retain customers,
raising significant ethical and social issues.
The study highlights three key perspectives: the consumer's, the producer's, and the
legislator's. From the consumer's perspective, it explores how various consumer
behaviors, from responsible gambling to problematic overconsumption, are
influenced by marketing and gaming experiences. This includes an analysis of how
cognitive limitations and psychological biases can lead to irrational decisions and an
increased risk of gambling addiction.
From the producer's perspective, it examines how gambling companies use
marketing strategies and technologies to increase profitability and what incentives
they have to take social responsibility according to modern Corporate Social
Responsibility (CSR) principles. It appears that companies do not see CSR as a
business goal beyond the risk of current and future regulatory compliance
requirements and policy changes.
From the legislator's viewpoint, the current regulatory framework for the gambling
industry is discussed, including the changes that occurred in 2019 when the special
Monopoly form we had in Sweden was transformed into a license market.
