The comprehensive questions are: Which ideas about the public library appear in each municipal library plan? How do the ideas agree in the different municipal library plans? The sub questions are: Which judgements of reality appear in the different library plans concerning each municipality and its library needs? How do the municipalities define the concept of development and future demands in the municipality on the basis of the judgements of reality? Recent studies made by Margaritis and Psillaki,have shown that a lower debt ratio and higher efficiency are correlated in their studies performed oncompanies in New Zeeland. Other researchers have been able to show a connection between other industries than the one used in our studies,among these are Titman and Wessler. These studies have been done with a great selection of companies in different industries and time periods. However most of these researchers have used traditional ratios and variables.This study aims to find and analyze connections between returns and lower debt ratios in real estate companies listed on the Stockholm stock exchange. Instead of the traditional debt-equity ratio we will construct our own taking long term debts and property assets.

Det här arbetet är en pilotstudie om vad införandet av en ny betygsskala och nya läroplaner hösten 2011 fick för genomslag i betygsstatistiken i en av landets större kommuner och för lärare på en gymnasieskola i en mindre kommun, med fokus på ämnet naturkunskap. Regeringens mål med den nya betygsskalan var att den skulle visa elevernas kunskaper mer nyanserat, vilket också skulle kunna öka deras motivation att sträva efter högre betyg. Ett annat mål var att minska risken för betygsinflation, ett problem som funnits både i äldre tiders betygsskalor och efter införandet av den förra betygsskalan. Resultatet av studien visade att betygsmedelvärdet för eleverna inte förändrades med den nya skalan, men andelen som fick det högsta betyget sjönk, särskilt bland eleverna på högskoleförberedande program. Däremot visade det sig att bland eleverna på yrkesprogrammen höjdes medelbetygen i naturkunskap och andelen som fick det högsta betyget ökade.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the motives underlying the consumption of alcohol among college students and if the motives differ between genders. The study is based on the following questions: What are the motives underlying alcohol consumption among students? Do these motives differ between men and women? Is there any connection between the motives for alcohol consumption and consumption? The study is a quantitative, empirical comparison study and the data presented is mainly descriptive. The study group consists of students from a university in central Sweden. After an exclusion of five students a total of 81 students participated in the survey, of which 55 were female and 26 were male.

This essay aims to examine how science fiction literature is supported and made available for readers at four public libraries. Each library has its own opinion of what a public library?s role in society is, and that affects how literature acquisition and media exposure is done at that particular library. To explore this, the author uses a modified version of Elzinga and Andersson?s theory of traditionalism, pragmatism and emancipationism.
