Det här arbetet är en pilotstudie om vad införandet av en ny betygsskala och nya läroplaner hösten 2011 fick för genomslag i betygsstatistiken i en av landets större kommuner och för lärare på en gymnasieskola i en mindre kommun, med fokus på ämnet naturkunskap. Regeringens mål med den nya betygsskalan var att den skulle visa elevernas kunskaper mer nyanserat, vilket också skulle kunna öka deras motivation att sträva efter högre betyg. Ett annat mål var att minska risken för betygsinflation, ett problem som funnits både i äldre tiders betygsskalor och efter införandet av den förra betygsskalan. Resultatet av studien visade att betygsmedelvärdet för eleverna inte förändrades med den nya skalan, men andelen som fick det högsta betyget sjönk, särskilt bland eleverna på högskoleförberedande program. Däremot visade det sig att bland eleverna på yrkesprogrammen höjdes medelbetygen i naturkunskap och andelen som fick det högsta betyget ökade.

In a column experiment the effect of three different biochars on nitrous gas emissions, nitrogenretention and water filled pore space (WFPS) were studied in a Swedish sandy soil, classified as aCryopsamment. Ammonium retention was positively correlated, while KCl-extractable ammoniumwas negatively correlated, with the specific area of the biochars. The question was raised whether thenegative correlation between extractable ammonium and biochar specific area reflects the amount ofammonium present in the soil or its extractability from the biochar, and whether methods forextracting soil mineral nitrogen, like KCl-extractions, have to be modified for application on biocharamended soils. There was a tendency of increased nitrate retention and KCl-extractable nitrate withbiochar and KCl-extractable nitrate was positively correlated with the specific area of the biochar. pHwas higher for all biochars compared with control, although the differences were not significant, andWFPS was lowered by biochar addition, significantly in one case.

Tidigare forskning har visat att svenska stridspiloter har uppvisat en anmärkningsvärt hög förekomst av depressions- och ångestsymptom, vilket både riskerar att minska effektiviteten hos de svenska luftstridskrafterna och kan innebära en fara för flygsäkerheten.Detta arbete syftar till att underlätta beslutsfattandet kring problemet genom att skapa ett bättre underlag för att förstå de bakomliggande orsakerna. Studien undersöker när under karriären symptomen uppkommer samt jämför mellan olika pilotkategorier för att skapa en bättre förståelse för hur problemen uppstår och därmed vilka åtgärder som kan vidtas för att förhindra detta.En kvantitativ enkätundersökning användes för att undersöka förekomsten av depressions- och ångestsymptom bland svenska strids-, transport- och helikopterpiloter under deras första fem utbildningsår. Enkäten baserades på HADS-skalan och skickades till 158 personer, varav hälften var piloter.Resultatet av studien indikerar att den höga förekomsten av depressions- och ångestsymptom uppkommer senare i stridspilotkarriären. Stridspiloterna uppvisade dessutom en lägre förekomst av depressions- och ångestsymptom än en icke-flygande kontrollgrupp. Dessa resultat pekar i sin tur mot att miljöfaktorerna spelar en större roll än de genetiska faktorerna vid uppkomsten av symptomen.
