Studiens syfte var att genom ett socialkonstruktivistiskt perspektiv analysera hur identitet har använts som ett argument i relation till Turkiets medlemskapsförhandlingar i 2007 års plenumdebatter i Europaparlamentet. Till grund för studien är alltså ett socialkonstruktivistiskt perspektiv samt tidigare forskning kring vilken roll identitet har när det gäller framtida medlemsstaters framtidsutsikter i EU och forskning kring hur turken ses som ?den andre? i den franska politiska diskursen.En kvalitativ dokumentanalys tillämpades på de utvalda Europaparlamentsdebatterna och ett analysschema konstruerades utifrån teorin för att organisera resultatet. Analysschemat är indelat i två kolumner och fyra kategorier. I den första kolumnen placerades de fynd där turken/Turkiet ses som ?den andre? och i den andra kolumnen placerades de uttalanden där turken/Turkiet ses som en del av Europa.

It is a well known archaeological concern that the remains of human bones left from the bronze age and early iron age Scandinavia are not nearly enough to represent the estimated population of the time. Furthermore the bones of each find rarely represent a whole individual. The majority of the bones must have been disposed of somewhere else, possibly scattered in running waters or in the fields, where they have evaporated or are securely hidden from archaeological excavations.This thesis deals with the grave concept and the problem in using a word that is so very clouded by its modern, western meaning. It also offers an alternative explanation to why the bones are handled the way they are and why they are found in such awkward contexts..

The purpose of this study is to explore the factors affecting an individual's working life mobility and how this mobility is perceived by the individual. The study has a qualitative approach and the theoretical part is based on Castells', Giddens' and Bauman's theories of modern society and employment in relation to the individual. The study concludes that external circumstances in combination with internal driving forces are the reasons behind changing careers. The process is predominantly perceived as positive, especially education tends to strengthen self-identity. Work in general is regarded as important for a person's identity and new career changes are expected in the future..

Jag blev nyfiken på huruvida den åländska skolans tillämpning av de normativa texter som grundskolelagen och läroplanen utgör, appellerar till dagens verklighet, som den uttrycks i den offentliga debatten i medier och hos allmänheten.I augusti 2003 fick Finland en ny religionsfrihetslag, den tidigare daterade sig till 1922. Målet med den nya lagen är att alla religiösa samfund i Finland skall vara jämlika och autonoma. Till samfundsstatusen är kopplad en statlig garanti om undervisning i den egna religionen.

This academic essay explores the possibilities to knowledge of God in the thought of Thomas Aquinas. The essay takes its departure from question 12 in the Summa Theologiae, specifically articles 12 and 13 that deal with natural knowledge of God and supernatural knowledge, respectively. It also presents objections made by modern philosophers against these ways of knowledge along with a rebuttal of these objections. Lastly, a conclusion is offered and ends with a reflection on how Aquinas' teaching on human knowledge of God in earthly existence compares with his teaching on the knowledge human beings will have in heaven and what consequences that has for our present knowledge..

The aim of this essay is to examine what happens when Veronica Roths Divergent-trilogy is read with a lutheran theological pre-understanding. Using reader-response theory and lutheran theology written for and in a post-modern context, three lutheran figures of thought are presented as one way of understanding the trilogy. The conclusion is that it is possible to reveal lutheran ideas concerning justification, guilt, forgiveness, mercy and self-sacrificing love in the Divergent-story. .

En marknadsundersökning av förekommande metoder för digitalisering av karosseridetaljer. Olika skannertyper analyserades och en rekommendation av lämplig metod lämnades till uppdragsgivaren. Förutom punktantal beaktades även punktorintering, inskanningskostnad/tid, positioneringssystem och mätrymd. Uppdragsgivaren rekommenderades att använda en optisk skanner för projicering av fransar med ett optiskt spårningssystem. Då tillverkning skall ske i mycket små serier berördes även olika tillverkningsmetoder, som exempelvis hydroformning mot ett formverktyg av aluminium eller kompositcement.

Vårt mål är att förhöja deltagarnas upplevelse i levande rollspel (även kallat lajv). Idag finns det inga möjligheter att visualisera övernaturliga förmågor. I den här rapporten visar vi ett exempel på hur detta kan realiseras med hjälp av teknik. Vi har inriktat oss på att simulera alvers övernaturliga hörsel. Levande rollspel är mycket känsligt för störningar från ?världen utanför?, exempelvis modern teknik och språk.
