This essay investigates how teacher sees and uses mainstream movies as a teaching method. The main question approached is: How does teachers use feature films as a teaching method? Which movies are used and how does their working methods surrounding the movies look like? The purpose of the essay is to make the reader reflect over what influence mainstream media has over the historic knowledge of the students and how teachers use that for educational purposes. The business around historical film has grown over the years and is now a million dollar industry. The conclusion is that teachers mostly use feature films to provoke emotional reactions from the students.

I det konkurrensutsatta samhälle som vi idag lever i är inte kommunen på samma sätt som tidigare en självklar och livstrogen arbetsgivare. I dagens samhälle gäller det att bygga upp en organisation som har ett starkt varumärke. Vikten av att bygga ett starkt varumärke är en förutsättning för att kunna behålla och attrahera ny arbetskraft.Studien har genomförts på en kommun i Sverige där vi har undersökt hur kommunen arbetar med frågor som arbetsgivarpolicy och värdeord. Med hjälp av teoretiker som Senge och Argyris diskuterar vi kommunens vision om att vara en lärande organisation. Storstadskommunen arbetar efter en ny arbetsgivarpolicy och en uppsättning värdeord, där kommunen uppmuntrar sina anställda till ett kontinuerligt lärande.Vi vill med denna studie ta reda på hur arbetsgivarpolicyn påverkar kommunen som organisation samt vilken påverkan dessa uppsatta värdeord har på kommunens varumärke.

The aim of this Bachelor´s thesis is to investigate how library statistics, performance measurement and indicators represent the modern public library activity. During the last decades the public library has gone through a lot of changes. Information overall has increased and new technology has been introduced into the library. This new development has had effects on the library users. The statistics reported to the Statens kulturråd (National Arts Council) has not changed in the same way.

The purpose of this study is to show the technical building requirements for modern arenas inSweden. The study will also create an understanding of how the requirements affect theSwedish football arenas which are affected by the regulations valid from 2014. As one of theSwedish football arenas there is Örjans Vall located in Halmstad. The aim of this study is todevelop alternative solutions regarding the technical problems Örjans Vall is facing 2014,when the new arena requirements for ?Svensk elitfotboll? are taken into use.

Then communication has been classified in two main forms: constructive and destructive language communication. Results in the essay indicate that there are tendencies to links between high illness-absence and destructive communication in a work organization.

I det här arbetet har vi genom en idé och ideologianalys undersökt olika läroböckers skildringar av den industriella revolutionen. Läroböckerna är indelade i två olika delar, varav vissa är skrivna innan Berlinmurens fall 1989 och andra är skrivna efter fallet. Vi har avgränsat oss till att analysera de politiska, ekonomiska samt klass skildringar som finns beskrivna i avsnittet. I arbetet har vi analyserat nio stycken läroböcker i historia för grundskolan. Resultatet presenteras genom två skilda delstudier där en av oss har undersökt läroböcker skrivna före Berlinmuren fall och den andre de läroböcker som utkommit därefter.

To perform a historical record of Beijers Park's development to date is about securing the tracks back in time. The historical record about the park tells not only the history of the park but the city, district, local residents and art of gardening. As the historical story is documented the necessary base for establishment of any care plans in the future and the base for cultural and historical value the park is made. Beijers park can in such work be treated alone or as part of the context of parks that were built during the same era in Malmö's history.Beijers park origin from the era of the late 1800s, when the entire green structure in Malmö changed. The park area today covers 12 hectares and is located in the district Kirseberg.

The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to describe and analyse the development of the public and the study circle libraries in the district of Kolbäck during the period of 1913-1954. The factors important for the library development described in sub-questions are: financing, locality, staffing, stock of books, book-lending level and uniting district effects. I use a hermeneutic interpretation model of interaction between the parts and the wholes, between reasons and results. This research leans mainly upon material which is sent to be deposited in archives in Hallstahammar, Västerås and Grängesberg.

Med hjälp av träpelare med olika dimensioner och avstånd skapas olika grader av transparens beroende på program.

This paper aims to describe and elaborate on a recent discursive change within the new-age movement. Since the seventies and the publishing of speculative popular science books like The Tao of Physics by Fritjof Capra and The self-aware universe by Amit Goswami, the idea that quantum physics resonates with spirituality has become the topic of hundreds of books and movies.The quantum-spiritual discourse has three distinct ways to approach quantum physics in its discussion on spirituality: The parallelistic approach which emphasizes the similarities between eastern philosophies and modern physics, the monistic-idealistic approach which tells us that mind is the foundation of matter and the scientific spiritual approach which tries to explain spiritual claims scientifically. In the quantum-spiritual discourse, quantum physical phenomena (e.g. non-locality and entanglement) are being called upon to validate metaphysical statements. The primary assumption of the discourse is that the shift of paradigm due to the establishment of modern physics also is a shift of paradigm of spirituality.With the object to examine the common claims made in the discourse, cross-references between spiritual arguments and facts of quantum physics are being made.

Vi har grävt ner oss i begrepp så som modellering, texturering, UVW, benriggning, skinning & morphing varav alla har spelat in en viktig roll vårat animationsarbete..

Olofstorp ligger i ett skogsområde mellan Borås och Ulricehamn (figur 1). Olofstorp är en ödegård som idag ägs av Stiftelsen Petersson-Grebbe och Sveaskog. De har tillsammans med Skogssällskapet och Grovare-Fänneslunda Hembygdsförening startat ett skogshistoriskt projekt som heter Olofstorp ? ett jordearv. Projektet började formas när projektledaren Örjan Hill höll i en kurs som utmynnade i en bok om Fänneslundas historia.

Syftet med arbetet har varit att undersöka på vilket sätt historia brukas och förmedlas inom svensk samtida hiphop och till vilka syften och funktion. Utifrån tre olika metoder för textanalys och vidare med historiedidaktiska teorier har jag genomfört en litteraturanalys av åtta stycken låttexter från välkända artister på den svenska scenen. Min teoretiska utgångspunkt för arbetet har jag i Peter Aronssons påstående att ?någon berättar något för någon annan av en anledning?. Hiphopens grund ligger i berättelsen och har en tradition av att behandla politiska frågor.
