Summary Today energy prices are rising. As a result biomass fuel is getting more and more interesting. Wood chips is very popular, but also straw from grain production is on the table. Lunds Energi AB project a combined power and heating plant in Örtofta out of Lund. Wood chips is meant to be the main energy source, complemented by straw. In this thesis the transportation of straw for fuel is studied.

Tidigare forskning har funnit delvis motstridiga resultat för hur företagsledningens och styrelsens egenskaper påverkar bolagets värde. Enligt vår vetskap har inga studier genomförts på svenska data. Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att klargöra om det finns något samband mellan ett företags värde (mätt som market-to-book) och ett antal demografiska faktorer hos företagets ledning och styrelse. Detta har testats med hjälp av årsredovisningar och finansiella data för börsnoterade bolag under perioden 2010-2012. Genom multipla regressionsanalyser har vi bland annat funnit att styrelsens storlek har en positiv effekt på bolagets värde och att andelen kvinnor i styrelsen påverkar värdet positivt.

SammanfattningSkyddet för arbetstagarens personliga integritet är ett aktuellt ämne där teknikutvecklingenger arbetsgivaren ökade möjligheter att kontrollera arbetstagaren. Därmed äventyras skyddetför arbetstagarens personliga integritet. Det finns i dagsläget inte någon direktspecialanpassad lagstiftning till skydd för den personliga integriteten i arbetslivet och svensklagstiftning saknar en enhetlig definition på begreppet personlig integritet. Det är oklart vilkamöjligheter arbetsgivaren har att vidta kontrollåtgärder av arbetstagarens Internet- och epostanvändningsamt vilket skydd arbetstagaren har för sin personliga integritet.Syftet med uppsatsen är att reda ut vilket rättsligt skydd arbetstagaren på den svenskaarbetsmarknaden har för sin personliga integritet, vilka möjligheter arbetsgivaren har att vidtakontrollåtgärder av arbetstagarens Internet- och e-postanvändning, samt vad begreppet godsed på arbetsmarknaden i detta fall innebär. För att uppnå syftet används en rättsdogmatiskmetod, som innebär att aktuella rättskällor det vill säga lagtext, förarbeten, praxis frånArbetsdomstolen och doktrin kommer att studeras.Arbetsgivaren ges möjlighet att vidta integritetskänsliga åtgärder såsom kontroll avarbetstagarens Internet- och e-postanvändning med stöd av den allmänna arbetsledningsrätten,avtal, kollektivavtal eller lagstiftning.

The bank market for farmers in Sweden is dominated by Swedbank and Landshypotek. One of the most aggressive challengers is Länsförsäkringar Bank, which in 2009 had seven per cent of the Swedish bank market for farmers, but 57 per cent of all new lending. This paper deals with the problem of new banks to break into the bank market where farmers are slow in terms of change in their attitudes and loyal to their banks. The study has been carried out in cooperation with Länsförsäkringar Gävleborg which is a new actor in the banking market and thus eager to take part in the outcome of the study. This essay thus seeks to examine the attitudes farmers have against bank switching and the factors that influence their choice of bank.

In 2009, pharmacy market went from being a monopoly market to be a regulated competitive market.Problem: Is there any internal conditions for a private company, whose culture and structure was formed under a state monopoly, to create a strong corporate brand?Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to, through a case study, analyze and evaluate the internal marketing in a company which has undergone a change of ownership and retained the same staff.Method: Through interviews with key personnel and staff , data was gathered for the case study, which means that the method is qualitative.

The fashion world today covers the whole world and a result of this, the competitionamong fashion companies are enormous, leading to a tough climate for companies in today?sfashion industry. There is an overproduction of goods on the market and companies mustcompete for customers because of today's homogeneous goods and prices.

Banks have been some of the biggest operators on the market of business customers financing. When the Swedish Förmånsrättslagen was changed 2004 the banks became more restrictive to allow traditional bank loans. The change made it more difficult for customers to get their loans granted. For that reason customers had to find other forms of financing. Factoring is an alternative that means companies can mortage/sell their claim on customers to finance companies.

Since the late 50th century, the automobile has been normative in the Swedish society (Lundin 2008). This has led to an urban environment deeply characterized by the motor vehicle and its necessities, while other means of transportation, such as train and bicycle, have been ignored and put aside. However, over the past decades, a new trend has been seen in urban planning as a consequence of the increasing knowledge of the negative qualities caused by the car. As a result, the bicycle is seen as a conceivable transport mode.This thesis examines cycling on four issues:- Why is there a need of more cyclists? - How can the total number of cyclists as well as the number of satisfied cyclists increase? - Which factors affect the choice of transport mode? - Which factors affect the choice of route?The first two questions are discussed from a literature study that was conducted at the beginning of the thesis.

AbstractValue Added Tax, VAT, is a general consumption tax that is added to almost all consumption of goods and services. Despite the extensive work of harmonization of the VAT system relating to electronic services, it can be difficulties in determining the taxable land, something that could affect the internal market in a negative way. The Swedish companyStardollABwas double taxed on certain electronic services that they provided consumers in theUK. The problems that lead to double taxation must be identified to ensure free competition and free movement within the internal market. The principle of neutrality pervades the whole of the EU VAT system which can be derived from principles of the Treaty, establishing the common market, and the introduction of the VAT Directive.

The project was a cooperate project that where done together withFree2move Holding AB. Free2move is a company with eight employees in Sweden and four inMalaysia. Focus of this study is an examination of the Swedish school today, its transformation and complexity when also the community outside of school undergoes changes in shape of among other things a different population composition and new political ideas. More specific the aim of the study is to understand how Gustav Adolfsskolan in Landskrona, a compulsory school in south of Sweden, legitimates the language rule that is in effect in the school. Ingenjörtrupperna har nyligen tillförts två nya typer av fältarbetsfordon. Då ett avingenjörförbandens största uppgifter är att understödja med ökad rörlighet för förband, anserförfattaren det vara relevant att studera hur dessa fordon kan understödja med detta.Enligt den struktur som ingenjörbataljonen skall vara organiserad 2014 skall dessa nya fordonutgöra huvudstommen i maskinplutonerna på de bandgående och hjulgåendeingenjörkompanierna, vilket kan föranleda vissa begränsningar och/eller fördelar då demaskinplutonerna tidigare har utgjorts av mer specialiserade arbetsmaskiner såsom hjullastare,grävmaskin och grävlastare. Detta kan innebära att de bandgående och hjulgåendeingenjörkompanierna blir till viss del mer lämpade att genomföra olika sorters arbetsuppgifterför att öka rörligheten för förband. Slutsatser ifrån undersökningen påvisar bland annat attIngbv 120 är mer lämpad att genomföra fältarbeten för rörlighet i bebyggelse än vad HMEEär, och att båda fordonen kan genomföra i stort sett lika många olika sorters fältarbeten förrörlighet, med undantag för minbrytning vilket bara Ingbv 120 kan genomföra..

Background: As Porter?s diamond (1990) suggested, the business environment highly influences firms? strategies. Today, most of the companies have to decide their strategy depending from a worldwide business environment. Yet, strategy researches and the growing importance of marketing for business success also show that customer dimension must be taken into consideration. On some markets and in certain industries, the offer is much higher than the demand and then, companies need to attract customers.

The main purpose of this essay is to investigate if Latvia´s pattern of trade has become more similar to the mature market economies, after Latvia´s independence 1991.Today, the intra-industry trade (IIT) dominates the trade of mature market economies. One of the pioneers of intra-industrial trade is Paul Krugman, who was the first to emphasize the importance "of scale and consumers' desire for variety" in explaining the basis for modern commerce. Customers get more variety and usually cheaper goods when the market gets bigger. I mainly use the modern trade theories to explain the trade pattern in Latvia. To measure how Latvia has developed its intra-industry trade, and thereby is approaching the mature market economies´ trade pattern, I use the Grubel-Lloyd index (GL-index).

This paper is a literature study on search engine optimization (SEO) considering the leader of the search engine market: Google. There´s an introductory background description of Google and its methods of  crawling the Internet and indexing the web pages, along with a brief review of the famous PageRank algorithm. The purpose of this paper is to describe the major important methods for improved rankings on Google´s result lists. These methods could be categorized as on-page methods tied to the website to be optimized or off-page methods that are external to the website such as link development. Furthermore the most common unethical methods are described, known as ?black hat?, which is the secondary purpose of the text.
