This paper is a literature study on search engine optimization (SEO) considering the leader of the search engine market: Google. There´s an introductory background description of Google and its methods of  crawling the Internet and indexing the web pages, along with a brief review of the famous PageRank algorithm. The purpose of this paper is to describe the major important methods for improved rankings on Google´s result lists. These methods could be categorized as on-page methods tied to the website to be optimized or off-page methods that are external to the website such as link development. Furthermore the most common unethical methods are described, known as ?black hat?, which is the secondary purpose of the text.

Utvecklingen av GIS-applikationer inom Polisen har gått från feta klienter till tunna webbklienter de senaste åren. Användningen av geografiska data i övriga system har samtidigt ökat och då handlar det framförallt om koordinatsatta adresser. Hittills har det krävts en hel del jobb med speciallösningar och dubbellagring av information. Med den tjänstebaserade arkitektur, SOA, som håller på att införas finns förhoppning om att komma bort från detta och på så sätt minska underhållsarbete samt underlätta för ny användning av den geografiska informationen. Syftet med detta arbete har varit att utreda behovet av generella GIS- tjänster samt hur plattformen för dessa ser ut.

Göbekli Tepe is an 11000 year old religious center where Totem has been exercised. It was raised by megalithic hunters and collectors that still during the construction lived in small-scaled mobile groups in order to find food and therefore should not have had time to raised costly stone monuments. The religious center consists of four enclosures with two T-pillars decorated with pictures of different animals and birds. Any dwellings have not been found. The place has been constructed by a well-organized elitist organization that has been capable of raising constructions in order to exercise their religion in a way we did not thought was possible such a long time ago. Analysis and findings from the near east existing from this time shows however that social changes happen in the communities around the region. Can archeological finding from the excavations on the religious center give any answer or clue regarding how man came to develop from hunter and collector to farmer? Do the findings reveal that the religion has changed Mans way to think and organize so that she was prepared to introduce the agriculture that occurs? I en värld där kraven på flexibilitet, säkerhet och hårdvaruoptimering är nyckelfaktorer när det kommer till att välja IT-miljöer för företag blir virtuella skrivbord mer och mer poulära. Med dessa miljöer finns det också problem när det kommer till användarupplevelsen om nätverket ifråga inte kan uppfylla de krav som ett sådant system ställer. I detta arbete undersöks implikationerna vissa nätverksvariabler kan ha för en Virtual Desktop-infrastruktur, VDI. För att belysa dessa problem har två tester utförts på en VDI miljö. Telefonintervjuer med åtta deltagare från enkätundersökningen utfördes för att erhålla ett ytterligare kvalitativt perspektiv.Slutsats: Inga betydande skillnader mellan män och kvinnors åsikter inom segmentet husdjursägare kan utläsas. Olika åsikter förekommer däremot mellan hund- och kattägare inom kundsegmentet, där hundägare är mest positiva till de kvaliteter Cura apoteket kommer att kunna erbjuda.

The study aims to describe and analyse the relationship between norm and practice regarding social services casework on honour-related problems. The relationship between norm and practice involves the difference between the way it is intended that social workers shall operate in these cases and how they perceive that this works in practice. We interviewed two focus groups of eight Swedish social workers, four in each group. We also held an individual interview with a social services business developer. Focus group interviews were based on two vignettes; one depicting an honour-related case and the second an "ordinary" case.

Today more and more municipalities interact across a wide range of sectors. The reasons tostart interacting are varying and for those who succeed with this form of work, there arebenefits in terms of efficiency and knowledge exchanges. But are the reasons that interactalways obvious? Sweden currently has 290 municipalities of varying size and allmunicipalities have basically the same mission, to deliver services to its residents.Information technology allows municipalities to digitize much of the workload, but theintroduction of the technique is not without problems. <p>This explorative study examines approximately one hundred electronic library homepages. It focuses on four aspects: form, content, structure and user support. Form relates to the presentation of information and is concerned with the relationship between text and graphics. Content refers to the type of information and services that an electronic library offers. Structure is concerned with the guiding principles that have motivated the grouping of information and services on the homepages.

Syftet med den här undersökningen är att studera, och identifiera tillvägagångssätt för tjänsteföretag att internationalisera sig samt sälja sina produkter. För att göra det, samt att kunna kartlägga ett eventuellt mönster är det väsentligt att öka förståelsen kring hur försäljningen av tjänsten går till samt hur säljaren hanterar de kulturella skillnader som uppstår vid internationalisering. Vi har valt en kvalitativ metod, med en deduktiv ansats för undersökningen där utgångspunkt finns i teori. Den teoretiska referensramen inkluderar välkända modeller som beskriver företags processer vid en internationalisering, samt teorier riktade mot tjänsteföretag, internationell försäljning, säljarens roll samt kultur och kommunikation. Därefter har vi i det empiriska materialet, redogjort för vad de fallföretag vi har arbetat med, i praktiken har hanterat dessa fenomen i deras internationaliseringsprocesser. I analysen har vi sedan ställt empirin mot teorin för att identifiera ett mönster rörande internationalisering samt internationell försäljning av tjänsteföretag. I slutsatsen har vi till sist haft möjlighet att presentera detta mönster för internationalisering av tjänsteföretag, där vi har konstaterat att processen är baserad på drivna individer på ledningsnivå som initierar internationaliseringen.

Denna studie är genomförd på uppdrag av Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications med syftet att identifiera faktorer som påverkar effektiviteten i utvecklingsarbetet och förklara dem ur ett effektivitetsperspektiv. Dessutom skall det undersökas hur det är möjligt att bibehålla eller rent utav öka produkternas och processernas kvalitet. Studien är avgränsad till mekanikorganisationen inom företagets FoU-del och hänsyn till finansiella data har ej tagits. Under hösten 2002 genomfördes en omorganisation med syfte att öka kunskapsnivån och förbättra effektiviteten och det är med denna omorganisation i tankarna som studien genomfördes. Under denna period genomförde även författaren sitt examensarbete inom civilingenjörsutbildningen på just en mekaniksektion som produktutvecklare.

This bachelor thesis looks at developers knowledge about web security both regarding their own view on their knowledge and their actual knowledge about vulnerabilities and how you mitigate against them. Web developers knowledge regarding web security are becoming more and more important as more applications and services moves to the web and more and more items become connected to the internet. We are doing this by conducting a survey among developers that are currently studying in the field or are working in the field to get a grip on how the knowledge is regarding the most common security concepts.
