Syftet med detta examensarbete var att skapa ett serverprogram i en enkortsdator som arbetar i realtid för att kunna hjälpa människor att köra mer ekonomiskt och miljövänligt i deras vardag.Detta var ett av målen ställda av produktbeställaren Ziggy Creative Colony. Ett mer långsiktigt mål från beställaren är att datorn skall installeras i en bil och kopplas till bilens on-board diagnostic-II (OBD-II)-uttag. Datorn ska sedan, via OBD-II, kunna samla information som till exempel hastighet, acceleration och bränsleflöde från bilens engine control unit (ECU). Serverprogrammet ska bearbeta denna information som sedan kommuniceras och visualiseras till bilföraren via en native mobilapplikation.Serverprogrammet byggdes i en linuxbaserad dator: Raspberry Pi och döptes av oss till Car-Pi. Car-Pi designades enligt arkitekturmönstret Model-View-Controller (MVC) som gör det lätt att underhålla, vidare-utveckla och implementera programmet av produktägaren, Ziggy Creative Colony, i framtiden.

It is based around a questionnaire aimed towards store managers and consequently used it to run regression analysis using the software package SPSS.Main results: The main result of the essay is that the motivation among store managers is positively related to the degree to which they absorb information. Thus, a possible problem exists for the corporation in that they need to make sure that the store managers are and stays motivated. Further, it seems that the longer a store manager has been employed by the corporation the less information is absorbed. The results showthat young people today in Kalmar preferably and often read newspapers on theInternet and mobile phone.The questions asked was about which media they usually use, the level ofconfidence they had in various media, how interest was in different newscategories, willingness to pay for online news and background issues relatedsubjects. The survey was aimed at high school students in Kalmar and weredistributed and collected on-site at the schools. What was remarkable among theresponses was that young people largely had access to a morning newspaper athome and said that they would consider subscribing to one in the future.

Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka hur människor upplever att ständigt vara tillgänglig med sin mobiltelefon och/eller Internet. En kvalitativ metod med semistrukturerade intervjuer har använts, där tolv personer, sex gymnasieungdomar och sex vuxna personer, har intervjuats. Hälften av de intervjuade bor i södra Sverige, hälften i norra. För analysen har McQuails grupperingar inom Uses and gratifications-teorin använts, liksom cultural studies teorier. Resultatet visar att de intervjuade ser det både som en möjlighet och ett krav att vara tillgängliga och uppkopplade, att Internet och mobiltelefon verkar bidra till att arbete/skola och fritid flyter ihop samt att de äldre intervjuade i något högre grad än de yngre upplever negativa aspekter av att vara ständigt tillgänglig.

This thesis work resulted in a template for how the thermal spray process can be controlled through robot programs. The robots today and their programs need to be replaced, therefore a new structure which can be matched with the new robot systems is needed. The work is limited to only concern structured programming on the new robots on Thermal Spray Centre (TC) with the programming language Rapid. The basic data for the program was retrieved from interviews with concerned personnel at TC, from studies on process parameters for thermal spray and from existing specifications at Volvo Aero Corporation (VAC). The thesis work briefly describes the process thermal spray and the four methods used at VAC.

The aim of this paper is two-fold. Firstly, it is the production of a historical and chronological narrative describing the development of the Swedish Red Cross Hospital in Pusan during the years 1950-58. Secondly, it is the investigation of the objectives and aspirations of the organisations and institutions involved and how they affected how the hospital developed during the wartime years and up until the inauguration of the Scandinavian educational hospital, the National Medical Centre, in Seoul. Shortly after the outbreak of the Korean War in 1950 Sweden, a neutral nation, offered to send a contingent for the establishment of a 200 bed mobile field hospital which was to be subjected to the command of the Eighth US Army in Korea. In the end a larger semimobile evacuation hospital was set up in Pusan where both UN soldiers and PoWs were treated, and it came to be known as the Swedish Red Cross Hospital. The decrease in and finally the cessation of hostilities in 1953 opened up for treatment of Korean civilian patients and such work was conducted not only at the Swedish hospital but all over Pusan, though initially it was not formally sanctioned by American and UN authorities.

This thesis has been carried out in cooperation with a company which develops mobile sensor platforms. The sensors measure different types of data such as temperature, pressure etc.. They will communicate through the internet with a server that stores data in a database. This system will be controlled and monitored through a web page. The project's aim has been to develop this system and to implement a server, a database, a website and a client application that simulates sensor signals.

Människans tankesätt och beslutsfattande är en alldeles unik egenskap, som hon har. Unik är den på grund av att alla har olika uppfattningar, erfarenheter och värderingar. Den här studien handlar om hur man kan påverka människans beslutsfattande genom ett gränssnitt, och vad det är som påverkar beslutet. Då det finns många faktorer som har en påverkan på beslutsfattande, specialiserades studien på användaren och dess kognitiva egenskaper, så som uppmärksamhet och perception, samt en fördjupning på beslutsfattande och gränssnittsdesign. Detta för att kunna svara på vilken påverkan ett gränssnitt har på en människa som interagerar med det.Under studiens gång gjordes enkätundersökning, personas, prototyper, användartester, samt observationer, för att kunna analysera och få in tillräcklig data.

I denna uppsats undersöks ungdomars användning av gratis mobilapplikationer. Uppsatsen lyfter fram faktorer som påverkar applikationsanvändningen och förklarar hur faktorerna i jämförelse med varandra påverkar användningen. Genom detta nyanseras även skillnader mellan användningen av gratis-applikationer och betal-applikationer.En kvalitativ studie gjordes i form av två fokusgrupper där den åtskiljande faktorn var förvärvsinkomst. Deltagarna fick i grupper diskutera olika teman, till exempel pris, sociala påtryckningar och attityd kring användningen av mobilapplikationer. Resultatet av gruppintervjuerna tolkades och analyserades utifrån en tolkningsram baserad på företagsekonomiska teorier.

First-year students at Linköping University have developed a prototype that graphically visualizes a medical record in a new way. The customer of that project was the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Linköping University. They now want a usability evaluation to be performed of the prototype. The prototype is to be used by employees in the public health care and is supposed to be used on a small portable unit with a multi-touch interface. For this reason the prototype will be used as a complement to existing systems when the users work near the patients.

Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att beskriva och analysera hur fem företag agerar för att utveckla den kompetens som finns i företaget och på vilket sätt detta agerande visas i den externa redovisningen. Metod: Insamlingen av data har skett genom personliga intervjuer med nyckelpersoner för kompetens i fem företag som vi ansett vara kunskapsintensiva. Vi har använt oss av en intervjuguide och låtit respondenten utveckla sig fritt och uttömmande kring dessa frågor. Dessa har sedan kompletterats med ytterligare frågor som skickats och besvarats via e-mail.

Det är viktigt att tekniska hjälpmedel har hög grad av användbarhet. Speciellt viktigt är det att teknik som används av Räddningstjänsten fungerar bra eftersom det ökar möjligheterna för Räddningstjänsten att klara sitt uppdrag att rädda liv och egendom. När det handlar om användbarhet i system är det viktigt att systemet är lätt att lära och enkelt att använda, vilket bidrar till ökad användningsfrekvens och större tilltro till det. Detta examensarbete innefattar av empiriska undersökningar som syftar till att beskriva de användbarhetsproblem som existerar i beslutsstödsystemet Paratus Mobile System som används vid Räddningstjänsten i Piteå. För att få veta användarnas åsikter om användbarheten och den utbildning de fått för att hantera systemet intervjuades sex användare.
