AbstractOne aim of this thesis, has been to explore how discursive frames are constructed, frames to relate to, compare with, and therefore be part in shaping political subjects. The other aim has been connected with a more empirical platform, where I wanted to discover how these frames are established and structured discursively within a political organization, among its members; in this case with a foucs on the Swedish social democracy and its former leader Olof Palme. The thesis starts with a theoretical presentation and discussion, where focus is on the concepts of ideology, discourse theory in the form of Laclau and Mouffe, and narrative theory. The concepts will be presented and discussed, and also related to the other concepts to see their theoretical potential, both ontologically and epistemologically. Finally the theoretical rudiment is linked and analyzed with the empirical material.

The purpose of this research is to study the new curriculum in the topic of modern languages in the upper secondary school, and compare the curriculum from year 2011 with the one from year 2000 and thus try to find differences in the content and wordng. The research also aims to investigate teachers' interpretations and understanding of the new curriculum. The study is divided into two sub?studies and those are based on the two methods of text analysis and interview. Text analysis of policy documents is made parallell with some aspects found in the background materials of the upper secondaryschool reform, which can be summarized as precision and globalization.

Syfte: Syftet med vår studie är att undersöka hur information kan hanteras med ett integrerat affärssystem till stöd för controllers och personer med ledande befattningar.Metod: Vi genomförde en fallstudie där vi intervjuade controllers och personer med ledande befattningar på WSP. Detta för att kartlägga de informationsbehov som finns utifrån deras centrala arbetsuppgifter. Med utgångspunkt från en teoretisk referensram och med vetskap om deras informationsbehov analyserade vi hur information kan hanteras med hjälp av ett integrerat affärssystem till stöd för dem.Resultat: För personer med ledande befattningar handlar det ofta om att få information för att ta sig till beslut, och de behöver oftast olika sorters information. Controllern har en central roll för att hantera och vidarebefordra information, och det är viktigt att det finns bra verktyg för att hantera och distribuera information. Ett integrerat affärssystem kan vara till stöd för hantering och spridning av information, och vid utformandet av affärssystemet är det viktigt att skapa en presentation av informationen som stimulerar användaren och ger möjlighet för användaren att förstå dess innehåll.

Har de skett några förändringar i vad bolagen redovisar idag i sina hållbarhetsredovisningar jämfört med 2005?Syfte: Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka hur Atlas Copco, ICA och Vattenfall arbetar med CSR idag och hur deras hållbarhetsredovisningar presenteras 2008 jämfört med 2005.Metod: För att genomföra undersökningen har vi valt att intervju de tre företagen, granska deras hållbarhetsredovisningar från 2005 respektive 2008 och studerat litteratur.  Resultat: Resultat vi kom fram till är att arbetet är organiserat på olika sätt men gemensamt för bolagen är att många har CSR-frågor som en del i sitt arbete och att det rapporteras in och sammanställas. Alla tre bolagen har förbättrat sin presentation av hållbarhetsredovisningarna, exempelvis har strukturen blivit tydligare i de nyare rapporterna. Jämfört med 2005 har två av tre bolag utökat sin rapportering av prestandaindikatorer trots att dessa totalt har minskat sedan övergången från Guidelines 2002 till nya G3.

This thesis deals with the characterization of Japan and Japanese people by Swedish travelers during the Meiji period. It seeks to answer what aspects of Japanese people two Swedish travelers chose to highlight, and how these aspects were presented in their travelogues. This thesis also has a second aim. By applying Edward Said?s theory of orientalism, it wants to answer if Swedish travelogues were influenced by western 19th century ideas of colonialism and imperialism.

Vi ville i detta arbete undersöka olika uppfattningar av begreppen drama och teater, samt om det kan finnas någon praktisk skillnad i praktiken. Det har sedan antiken pågått en debatt kring begreppen, men ändock finns det, vad vi kunnat se, väldigt lite skrivet. Vi har gjort en kort presentation av denna debatt och av vilka försök till definitioner av drama respektive teater man kan finna i litteratur idag. I vår undersökning använde vi metoderna kvalitativ intervju och observationer. Vi valde att intervjua två utbildade dramapedagoger, samt observera några av deras sammankomster. För att fördjupa vår undersökning och få ta del av fler uppfattningar kring drama och teater valde vi att även skicka ut e-postförfrågningar till ett antal personer verksamma inom drama och teater. Uppfattningarna kring begreppen drama och teater skiljde sig vitt åt, denna skillnad blev dock inte lika tydlig i praktiken. Vi kom fram till att definitionerna av drama och teater är diffusa och därigenom även gränserna mellan vad som räknas som drama och teater i praktiken. Vi anser att det för oss är omöjligt att definiera begreppen, möjliga förklaringar är dock att drama främst används i personlighets- och grupputvecklande syfte medan teater främst har siktet inställt på en konstnärlig slutprodukt..

Utvecklingen av webben har från att vara statisk i sin presentation och förmedling av informationövergått till att vara mycket rikare på funktionalitet och interaktionsmöjligheter. Ajax är ett begreppsom relaterar till en samling tekniker som när de används i kombination ger möjligheten att skapawebbapplikationer som sett till effektivitet och interaktion kan jämföras med lokala applikationer. Igrunden ger Ajax möjlighet till asynkron kommunikation vilket ersätter den traditionellawebbmodellens synkrona beteende. Detta leder till webbapplikationer kan inta en nyinteraktionsform där innehåll inte behöver laddas i form av hela sidor. Webbutvecklare ställsdärmed inför en rad problem när dessa webbapplikationer skall skapas i jämförelse med dentraditionella webbutvecklingen och syftet med denna uppsats är således att kartlägga problem ochproblemområden som finns vid webbutveckling med Ajax.

Sydkorea visade upp en enastående ekonomisk tillväxt mellan 1960 och 1990. Per capita ? inkomsten hade en genomsnittlig årlig ökning på sju procent och landet är idag inkomstmässigt jämförbart med länder som Grekland och Portugal. I denna uppsats undersöker jag utbildningens roll i denna utveckling, mer specifikt: vilken effekt utbildning och utbildningspolitik har haft på Sydkoreas ekonomiska tillväxt mellan 1960 och 1990? Metodologin präglas av kvantitativ data och huvuddragen i metodologin är beskrivning av ekonomiska processer, presentation av empirisk data samt analys med koppling till ekonomisk teori.

The aim of this thesis is to study the Swedish art field during the 1980s, from the perspective of the artistic production of Lars Nilsson. During this decade he became one of the most well known young artists associated with postmodernism.The thesis is divided into three parts, where the first part examines different influences and aspects of the art of Lars Nilsson, as well as the contexts he was a part of. This is performed through a chronological as well as a categorizing presentation, based upon different exhibitions where Nilsson participated during the 1980s.In the second part the subject is the Swedish art field, and how Lars Nilsson came to be part of a a new established category of a young generation of artists, mostly born in the 1950s, who were associated with youth, postmodernism and contemporaneousness. This part also puts attention to the importance of Lars Nittve, then art critic and curator, in introducing postmodernism, as well as establishing this new categorization of artists in Sweden.The last part of the thesis studies four different group exhibitions, and how they all exemplify how "a younger generation of artists" were to be connected with notions of postmodernism and contemporaneousness through curatorial practice. Lars Nilsson participated at the thirst three of these exhibitions.

Detta arbete handlar om terapiträdgårdar gjorda för att rehabilitera människor med stressrelaterade sjukdomar. Jag har valt att jämföra två terapiträdgårdar, en vid Sveriges Lantbruksuniversitet i Alnarp och en i anslutning till det antroposofiska sjukhuset Vidarkliniken. Syftet är att se vilka likheter och skillnader de uppvisar trots att de kommit till på olika sätt. Trädgården i Alnarp skapades som ett forskningsprojekt för trädgårdsterapi medan Vidarklinikens rehabiliteringsträdgård skapades med antroposofin som grund. Om Alnarp och deras trädgårdsterapi finns en mängd litteratur som jag använt mig av, men om Vidarklinikens trädgård finns inte lika mycket, och därför har jag regelbundet samtalat med Vera Billing som designat deras terapiträdgård.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the application of sensory marketing in malls.Problem discussion: The competition between malls is increasing, where visitors are increasing demands on the shopping malls layout. Shopping malls surface and its atmosphere becomes essential in the design of a mall so it will be attractive enough. Sensory marketing can be an appropriate method to stand out from the crowd and attract visitors. Sensory marketing is a process of engaging visitor?s senses to create a strong relationship between the brand and visitors.

Nowadays in our society we find it hard for some groups of people to integrate in society. It?s known by media, that the suburbs are presented by a negative view, which often highlights the social problems in these suburbs. We can see that the suburbs still get associated with social problems such as segregation, different attitudes and behaviors, cultural conflicts, poorness etc. This kind of presentation of the suburbs affects not only the society but also the individual living and the personal perception of the individual.

Th is thesis is about how to create communicative images. It is mainly for landscape architects. With communicative images, I mean images created with the purpose to communicate a proposal or idea in a direct way to. By only looking at the image, the viewer should get an idea of what the proposal entails. A communicative image should also create an interest in the proposal.

The idea of this thesis emerged from our common interest to explore the life cycle of Swedish tourist destinations. This study has historical features since we tried to identify crucial historical and current push and pull factors, which influenced destinations upturns and downturns. In order to achieve our primary goal and identify those factors, we made two case studies. We chose Åre and Mölle as our cases and these two areas will represent Swedish destinations, and their life cycles, as a whole. The destinations? developing processes and their nowadays profile are not the same as for two hundred years ago which was a reason and motivation that made us start exploring this specific subject.
