As a future priest, I am aware of the problems thatexplain some of the Christian church pillars. In this essay I treat the Trinity in relation toteaching children in a future profession. Research in child and adolescent spirituality is onrampage, books with religious messages and ambitions to teach children about Christianethics and morals have been around since Sunday school introduction in Sweden. What arethe tools that can be used to explain even for scholars and theologians difficult concepts? Isit possible to meet kids on their own ground? I see an opportunity for this through theliterature, and the characters they already know outside the ecclesiastical sphere,In this bachelor thesis I have used perhaps one of the major works of children's literatureduring the 1900s, The chronicles of Narnia.

This thesis deals with different methods for measuring moisture-related dimensional changes ofwood. Religious education in Swedish schools aims to be as objective and non-confessional as possible. This sort of education can lead to that the different religions are presented in a way which is unfamiliar to the followers of the different religions. This problem is what I have focused on in this essay since I myself was a victim of a similar situation. As a syriac-orthodox youth I felt that my Christianity was not the same as the one presented in school. I felt that it had nothing in common with what I learned in my church, therefore I asked myself the question: Whose Christianity is being represented? Therefore I have focused on the syriac-orthodox church in this research.The purpose of my essay was to enlighten the differences between religious education in syriac-orthodox churches and Swedish community schools.

I denna uppsats analyserar jag kristen mission i Indien utifrån postkolonial teori. Denna undersökning är en analys av intervjuer som är genomförda med två informanter. Båda dessa har varit verksamma som kristna missionärer i Indien. Jag har även använt mig av forskning om mission som material. För att tillgodogöra mig intervjuerna har jag använt mig av muntlig historisk metod. I denna uppsats är jag intresserad av mina informanters föreställningar av Indien och deras identitet som missionärer.

Idag råder synsättet att individens delaktighet är att föredra i så gott som alla behandlings- och insatsformer samt att relationen mellan den professionelle och den som tar emot hjälpen är av stor vikt. Tvångsvård och tvångsåtgärder är något som strider mot den allmänna synen på hur man bäst tar hand om människor. I situationer där någon kan vara till fara för sig själv eller andra och inte inser detta kan dock tvång vara nödvändigt. Hur är det möjligt att göra någon delaktig i en behandling som sker mot dennes vilja? Syftet med denna uppsats var att undersöka hur personal som utövar olika former av tvångsvård går tillväga för att skapa en god behandlingsrelation och för att få klienten delaktig i behandlingen.

My study is focused on one organization with is Unicef, the organization that is workning on a UN mission. The mission is about children's rights and Unicef has brought children's actions since 1946.The purpose of this essay was to research whether the images can be used alone or as a complement to the text that the communication organizations use. By examining the way images are used, I hoped to be able to deduce the results of image use. I study if the effect out messages with only pictures will be more effective than the message in which the verbal mixed with the non-verbal.Theoretical part of this essay has a communication perspective. Social work in Sweden has historically been mostly done by the public sector andthe work has been regulated by law. In the last two decades, private and voluntaryactors have played an important role as providers of welfare state; one of theseplayers is the Swedish Church. The aim of this thesis has been to describe thework the deacons perform in the Swedish Church in a medium-sized municipalityin Sweden. To find out how much freedom of action the deacons themselves feelthat they have and if they feel that their work is influenced by the social work thatother performers are doing. In order to reach the goal, a qualitative approach wasused where seven deacons were interviewed.

Mitt syfte med detta arbete är att få en bild av hur relationerna mellan olika religiösa samfund såg ut under en tid då EFS byggde upp och etablerade sin verksamhet i Eritrea. Detta är inte förvånande då den katolska kyrkan gjorde allt för att tränga ut EFS? missionärer ur Eritrea och lyckades också med detta under en period.Olle Hagner anlände till Eritrea första gången 1923 efter att ha lovat att ta vid efter sin broder Johans tidigare missionsgärning i Eritrea som han tvingats avbryta på grund av sjukdom.

This is a study that will focus on the possibility to learn information about a town and its inhabitants of the 18th century by analyzing individual titles in the church records. The records that are used in this study are marriage registration administrated by the local church of the town of Uddevalla. The records are very detailed and each individual registered have a title, such as ?tradesman? or ?maiden?. Since the source are a registration of all the weddings that took place during the period of 1700 to 1749, the source gives very broad and valid information about the inhabitants of the town.

The purpose of my study is to investigate teacher?s perceptions of their mission in the preschool class, and how they work to promote children?s written language development. What methods and working methods they use to awaken curiosity and motivate children to read and write. I am using the qualitative research method to get answers to my questions. I have made four qualitative interviews with four teachers in preschool classes from different schools.My questions are:What conceptions does teachers have about their mission in a preschool class?What different methods and approaches does teachers use to stimulate and wake children?s curiosity for reading and writing development?The theoretical basis for my study is the socio-cultural perspective, where learning occurs in interaction.

Ever since the nation-state has existed identity has been a big deal, it is told that identity is a tool needed to be able to receive consensus from the people concerned on a certain matter. As the European Union is continuously shaped and reshaped due to changing geographical borders, as a consequence of new member-states the aim to integrate the Union equally across its surface has not been an easy task to solve. A lack of trust from the inhabitants in the European Union is a fact, and therefore the main duty of the Union has become to rebuild the trust from beginning to end, creating a Union which easily can be identified with. Since the process of national identity relies upon an excluding-including process and the use of the Other, the identification process on an European level has indeed had fierce effects on the inhabitants within and outside the Union.One of many things that this essay aims at showing is how mythmaking has become a way used by the elite in the Union to integrate a European identity, the myths refer back to a Golden Age when Europe was prosperous and in bloom. Among other tools used to integrate and create a European identity we find such as; unity in diversity, a cultural inheritance based on common denominators such as Christianity and Latin traditions, symbols and a European citizenship.
