The tourism industry in Sweden has expanded in recent years and the increasing industry has meant that customers are in need of a reseller for their trips abroad. Today there are three types of retailers available. These are : Traditional travel agencies , tour operators and online travel agencies.Online Travel agencies are the most modern online option for customers. Their existence has made it easier for the customer and reservation can be made anytime and anywhere. The competition has intensified between the three retailers and the traditional alternatives must find new ways to survive.

Kundtillfredsställelse : bland köp- och säljkunder i samarbete med LRF Konsult

The purpose of this thesis was, on the mission of LRF Konsult Södra marknadsområdet, to research on why their customers were satisfied and/or dissatisfied. The research was performed in two segments: customers that had joined the company through acquisitions of other accounting firms and customers that had been in contact with LRF Konsult?s personal sellers.To be able to find the answer to our purpose we chose to do a qualitative study. Five interviews were performed with customers in southern Sweden, Skåne and Halland, to get their personal view of the service and of their relation to LRF Konsult and their contact person.The theories suggested that the satisfaction of the customers would increase depending on their relation with LRF Konsult and their contact person. Our research concluded the relation differed for each customer and that it was of great importance that the contact person at LRF Konsult understood and adapted the relation to what the customer wanted.

Arvsförordningen : En analys av hemvist och dess innebörd

Organizational democracy has been a popular research area in recent decades but the implementation in real organizations is slow (Kokkinidis, 2012; Verdorfer, Weber, Unter Rainer & Seyr, 2013). Several researchers (Schön Jansson, 2012; Falkheimer, Heide & Johansson, 2013) argue that communication practitioners have a key role in democratic processes and that because their job role is under constant change there are only a few modern studies regarding the subject. The purpose of this study is to illustrate how communication practitioners in private and public organizations experience their role in the process of internal communication and to what extent they are aware of, and work with internal organizational democracy.The practitioners we interviewed had a strong feeling that they were a support function for the business and the organizational management. As a result of the study it is clear that communication practitioners are very loyal to their employers and to the organization they work for. They are, therefore, not neutral in their professional role and argue that their task is to represent the management's interests.

Bemästra, bistå eller både och? : En kritisk studie av Provincial Reconstruction Teams roll och agerande i Afghanistan

The specific task of this thesis is to illustrate the complexity of a cooperation between civilian and military entities by examining Provincial Reconstruction Teams (PRTs) and their role as an actor among others in the field in a war-torn Afghanistan.By using counterinsurgency strategy as an analytical framework it has been possible to examine the civilian and military contexts closer. Underlying structures concerning the norms and interpretation of reality of the PRTs has been partly revealed. Studies of the PRTs as one significant bearers of "the comprehensive approach", which includes a holistic approach regarding the use of civilian and military capabilities, new conclusions can be drawn on whether a general civil-military approach can be a part of the solution for current and future conflicts. Based on the counterinsurgency strategy, the author has identified three themes as bearing and thus appears through the thesis as a foundation. These are Coordination, Development and Security.

Fyra kyrkoherdar: ledarskap med människosyn som grund och redskap

Anledningen till att vi antar att kyrkoherdarna har en starkare värdegrund än ledare i privat och offentliga organisationer grundar sig i ett personligt engagemang. Vi brinner för frågor angående ledarskapsutveckling, en vilja till förståelse och en förändring till att få ledare att helt enkelt växa som ledare. Vår utgångspunkt ligger i ett antagande att kyrkoherdar har ett starkt värdesystem och därmed även en förmåga till att leda sin församling på ett etisk, människovänligt sätt.Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att analysera vad som påverkar och utmärker fyra kyrkoherdars ledarskap. För att besvara vårt syfte har vi genomfört en kvalitativ, empirisk intervjustudie med fyra kyrkoherdar inom Lunds stift. Som ett komplement till vår bakgrund har vi även genomfört en kvalitativ intervju med en ärkebiskop.

Sweden is today often defined as a multicultural society. The implications on organizing and providing information in public libraries are many, since the systems presently used in the western hemisphere are not adapted to multi-cultural information. This thesis aims to outline ethical and practical problems that arise when organising and providing information concerning cultures other than western, and not least, when dealing with material in other scripts. With this theoretical framework the thesis examines the website of the International Library in Stockholm, a website built to serve users of different languages and scripts than Swedish. The research questions in this thesis are: 1, what specific problems can be distinguished within library work in a multicultural and multilingual environment? 2, what problems and needs were considered in the creation and design of the International Library?s website? And 3, can examples of problems and possible solutions of these be seen in the information and it?s organisation on the International Library?s website? The empiric material consists of the International Library?s website, and interviews with three informants involved in developing it.

Missionsverksamhet i Inre Mongoliet: en studie av Svenska Mongolmissionens verksamhet 1925-1945

Min tidigare studie om Svenska Mongolmissionens pionjärtid 1897-1925, behandlade de mål, motiv och värderingar som låg till grund för missionens bedrivande, samt under vilka förhållanden och ekonomiska förutsättningar missionsarbetet bedrevs i Mongoliet. Studien behandlade också Svenska Mongolmissionens verksamhet från ett genusperspektiv och vilken roll kvinnorna hade i missionsarbetet. Utgångspunkten i denna kvalitativa studie av Svenska Mongolmissionens verksamhet 1925-1945 är att belysa förutsättningarna för den fortsatta civiliserings- och missionsverksamheten i Inre Mongoliet i norra Kina, och vilka resultat missionen kom att uppnå. Studien behandlar också den civiliseringsaspekt som Svenska Mongolmissionen bedrev genom sin skol- och barnhemsverksamhet, och hur dessa verksamheter kom att utvecklas, samt anledningen till att vissa missionsmetoder var mera framgångsrika än andra. Studien belyser också på vilket sätt Svenska Mongolmissionens verksamhet i Inre Mongoliet i hög grad kom att påverkas av inbördeskriget i Kina, svåra nödår och av den japanska ockupationsmaktens maktutövning.

Communication has become more and more important for authorities, there are several reasons for the use of communication and they may differ from authority to authority. Some authorities claim that the purpose of the communication work is to create awareness and recognition among citizens. A communication form that has become increasingly important for government agencies is social media, according to the government authorities should implement social media in their communication work because it is very important that the authorities are available where the citizens are. Previous research has focused on the risks and opportunities that the social media generates for the public sector.

This study aims to gain an understanding of how individuals with leadership roles in the Swedish Armed Forces are experiencing their leadership in relation to the organization's structure and culture. In order to achieve the purpose of the study, the following research question was created: How do individuals with leadership roles experience the influences of the organization's structure and culture on their formal leadership? The theoretical starting point is Weber's organization theory, Schein's organizational culture theory, and different definitions of leadership.

Utveckling av nytt koncept till processmaskin

Metso Paper offers a front-running range of solutions and services for the pulp and paper industry. At the baling unit, design solutions are developed for manufacturing and handling of pulp bales. The machines are continuously developed to satisfy customer needs. One big step in the development of the baling line was to remove hydraulics from the machines and replace it with electrical motors and pneumatics. This was not done on the folding machine which is still driven by mainly hydraulics.

This thesis investigates the socio- and environmental economic effects of a deep repository for spent nuclear fuel in Forsmark in the municipality of Östhammar. I seek to show the general picture but focus on the effects on employment, environment and income. Cost-benefit analysis is used to investigate the differences in utility between a scenario with and a scenario without a deep repository in Forsmark. Most of the possible effects can not be valued and many can not even be quantified with the data available today. Therefore this thesis has a bit of a ?preliminary study character? and seeks to show what we know today and what needs to be further investigated when available data allow it. The costs that could be valued are noise from the traffic during the period of building and emissions of carbon dioxide and nitrogen oxides from the transportation of rock masses during the building period.
