Profit in first commercial thinnings of today is hard to achieve. This is because of prevailing pulpwood prices and because of high costs of logging and transport. To reduce these costs higher productivity is advocated. One way to increase the productivity is the use of multi-tree handling harvester heads. The aim of this study was to calculate logging and transport costs in first thinnings, where multi-tree handling has been used.

Earlier this year the Swedish migration board gave a part of their responsibility for the separated children to those municipalities that have signed an agreement with them, so that the children can get the best handling of their matters and also to lift the heavy pressure of the Swedish migration board. Our aim in this paper is to see how this division is made and which areas of responsibility they have. We want to see how this process is being handled in relation to these children?s rights, the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Swedish law. The purpose of this study was to put together the testresults from dogs delivered 2003 and 2004, to see if there is a connection between delivery age and testresult. We have also worked out a method to test if early planned handling of the dogs makes a difference on how the dogs later respond in a testsituation, and tried this method in a pilotstudy. The data that we have based our calculations on is 172 dogs, divided into 108 males and 64 females. We found a significant connection between the age at delivery and the testresult in contactability for female dogs delivered in 2003, where increasing age led to decreasing grades in the test at AZRDM. When looking at the difference in testresults between test number two at the kennel and the test at AZRDM we found a significant connection for female dogs delivered during 2003, ie the difference takes on a more negative value with increasing age at delivery. We found a difference between the two sexes in our calculations.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka vilka handlingsmöjligheter och motiv som knyts till individen i Världsnaturfonden WWF:s hemsidematerial om klimatförändringarna, samt utvärdera hinder för dessa handlingsmöjligheters förverkligande. Den huvudsakliga undersökningsmetoden består av Norman Faircloughs tredimensionella modell för diskursanalys i kombination med begreppen interpellation och subjektpositionering, hämtade från Ernesto Laclau och Chantal Mouffes diskursteori. Övriga teoretiska utgångspunkter utgörs av nedslag i i Ulrich Becks teori om "reflexiv modernisering", samt perspektivet "governmentality". Undersökningen visar att materialet huvudsakligen konstruerar positionerna privatperson, företagare och politiker. Privatpersonens handlingsmöjligheter består i att inkorporera en klimatrationalitet i sin vardag samt förmå politiker och företagare att agera.

Tidigare forskning har visat att arbetslösas välmående och livskvalitet påverkas negativt av arbetslöshet. Upplevd kontroll och autonomi kan medföra ökade coping-resurser för arbetslösa och ökar möjligheten till god mental hälsa och livskvalitet. Syftet med den aktuella studien var att undersöka hur graden av kontroll och autonomi hos arbetslösa påverkades beroende på faktorerna ekonomisk säkerhet, stöd av särskild person, stöd i handling, samt arbetsmarknadsåtgärd. Resultatet visade att den enskilt starkast predicerande faktorn för upplevd kontroll var ekonomisk säkerhet, medan stöd av person predicerade upplevd autonomi till störst utsträckning. Ökad ekonomisk säkerhet och stöd av särskild person hade ett positivt samband med både kontroll och autonomi.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the handling of difficulties encountered by Swedish managers in Swedish subsidiaries in South Korea. By identifying the most common and possibly most manageable difficulties specific to the market we categorized them into three different groups; external difficulties, internal difficulties and difficulties related to the leadership. Depending on where in the environment and in relation to which stakeholder the difficulties originate the managing process comes to be supported through sometimes contradictory theories. Our study implies that the proper handling is crucial to satisfy local expectations which are critical for survival of Swedish companies. It also implies that the leadership skills acquired by the Swedish managers combined with the level of acceptance for foreign managers among the Korean coworkers affect how influential the manager?s ambitions are.

I den här studien har vi, med hermeneutisk filosofisk forskningsansats och kvalitativ intervju som metod, undersökt hur begreppet trygghet kan tolkas och användas i relation till pedagogisk handling. Hur pedagogens syn på trygghetsbegreppet kan visa sig i lärandesituationen mellan barn och pedagog. Intresset för begreppet trygghet växte fram från egna minnen från vår första tid i skolan då vi drog oss till minnes att trygghet var viktigt för att vilja lära. Med hermeneutiken som forskningsansats används och problematiseras vår egen förförståelse kontinuerligt med egna reflektioner och tolkningar genom hela processen. Studien behandlar och problematiserar teoretiska perspektiv av begreppet trygghet och begreppet lärande.

Studien undersöker hur Irakkriget,den väpnande konflikten mellan Irak och främst USA och Storbritannien, skildras i läroböcker för grundkursen i ämnet historia på gymnasieskolan. Utgående från Lennart Hellspongs berättelseanalys analyseras skildringarna av kriget i läroböckerna utifrån tre teman: Handling, Aktörer och Värdering. Undersökningen visar både på likheter och skillnader mellan texterna. Undersökningen bygger på en analys av 12 läroböcker för gymnasieskolan i ämnet historia och visar, bland annat, att skildringen av handling och krigets händelseförlopp börjar med olika händelser.
