The aim of this report is to investigate how the work handling at the department for arriving goods at EFG in Tranås is working, as well as how it could be improved and made more effective. EFG is a corporation who process and sell office furniture. The company is working with a project concerning delivery precision, the subject is therefore particularly interesting from the perspective of delivery accuracy. The number of orders has increased notably during the fall of 2005 and the spring of 2006. This has led to new demands at the department for arriving goods and the topic is as a result of that important also from this point of view.Interviews and investigations have been conducted at location since no written material earlier has been made in the topic.

Sammanfattning Denna uppsats handlar om barns tankar efter att ha läst en skönlitterär bok med en historisk handling. Jag har valt att intervjua fem barn i tioårsåldern som går på olika skolor i en mellanstor stad. Mitt syfte är att ta reda på vilka kunskaper barnen tillägnar sig genom att läsa skönlitteratur? Min huvudfråga lyder: ?Vad anser barnen att de lär sig genom att läsa skönlitteratur? Delfrågor: ?Vad anser barnen påverkar deras intresse för en bok? ?Hur kan en bok med historisk handling öka intresset för historieämnet? För att få svar på mina frågor har jag använt mig av kvalitativa intervjuer med en narrativ ansats. Med detta menas en forskningstradition som tar utgångspunkt i berättelser.

The purpose with this report is to give structure to the storage area betweenproduction and packaging at Spaljisten AB in Ã…seda. The purpose is also to givesuggestions for improvements of work tasks and thereby simplify and improve thematerial handling at the packing process.The background of the task is that Spaljisten AB is going to increase theirproduction and thereby they also need to increase the packing rate of theirproducts. They will manage this by installing a new automated packing line andincrease the efficiency of the old manual one. The theoretical background ismostly obtained from literature which contains relevant facts for our report.The storage area has been studied visually in order to search for improvements oftoday?s layout.

Materialet transkriberades, analyserades induktivt och kodades efter kondensering Resultat Det kom fram stor m?ngd konkreta f?rslag p? hur socialpsykiatriska boendemilj?er kan optimeras f?r att fr?mja aktivitet och delaktighet, sammanfattat i tre huvudkategorier: Fysiska utrymmen f?r aktivitet, Utbud av olika aktiviteter och personal som resurs p? olika s?tt.

The sludgebark and to a certain extent the bark were until a decade ago waste products without any economic value that were thrown away. A number of environmental laws and increcing energy prices have improved the prerequisites for increasing the use of these materials. At Seskarö sawmill they burn the sludgebark and a great deal of the bark in the sawmill furnace. The sludgebark has a number of disadvantages compared to bark during burning. The sludgebark is often wet which means the energy net from burning often gets low.

This examination work is performed at the institution of industrial economy and production at Jonkoping technical university, for JELD-WEN Door Solutions plant in Forserum.Today the focus in the company is on to reduce their inventories binding of capitals as well as inventory of products and that includes to get a good control of the supply and handling of material which is of great importance.JELD-WEN Door Solutions is one of the worlds leading producers of windows and doors and the head-office is located in Oregon, USA.A great number of wooden doors are manufactured by the company in varying of constructions, classifications and performance.The production of the plant in Forserum has a project- and customer focus manufacturing where only internal doors are produced. The overall market they are concentrated on is to different institution such as schools, hospitals etc.The purpose of this work is to investigate possibilities to improvement of material- and production control at JELD-WEN. The report will handle the master production schedule to and from the production divisions within manufacturing industry. Focus will be on the way for information- and material flows from arrival, transport within the company and further on to customers.Further a map of the flow was performed which gave a clearer picture of the connection between the flow of information- and material for the manufacturing process. On the basis of the mapping of the flow, the group discovered that the flow of material had some improvement potential.

Introduktion: Att handleda studenter ingår i sjuksköterskans yrkesroll. Handledning utförs med en handledningsmodell som grund där samarbetet mellan lärosätet och den kliniska verksamheten tydliggörs. Olika pedagogiska modeller finns utarbetade med syfte att stödja studenten i lärandet. Kärnan i handledning är reflektion som möjliggör sammankoppling mellan teori och praktik. Att tydliggöra vilken betydelse reflektion har för studentens lärande är väsentligt.  Syfte: Syftet med studien var att tydliggöra reflektionens betydelse för studentens lärande i klinisk praktik samt att beskriva faktorer som främjar respektive hindrar reflektion.  Metod: Systematisk litteraturstudie valdes enligt Polit & Beck.

The aims of the study were to investigate the prevalence and antibiotic resistance of Campylobacter jejuni and Campylobacter coli in chicken and chicken products, and to investigate farmer awareness of antibiotic resistance development. The study was conducted in the Can Tho province in Vietnam during six weeks in October to November 2008. Ninety-six samples from raw chickens were collected from twelve market places and analysed for the presence of Campylobacter. A total of 96 cloacal swabs from 20 farms were obtained and analysed for the presence of Campylobacter. Farmers were asked to answer eight questions concerning the housing of the chickens, modes of handling sick animals as well as use and knowledge of antibiotics and resistance development to antibiotics.

I mitt arbete studerar jag H&M:s språkbruk i information kring hållbart mode. Jag har avgränsat mig till texten På väg mot hållbar bomull, en informationstext på H&M:s externa webbplats www.hm.com. Syftet med min studie är att visa hur man med en anpassad form av Klarspråk, tillsammans med en tydlig koppling mellan ord och handling i text, kan öka förutsättningarna för större kunskap och vägledning till hållbart mode.I min studie använder jag mig av två metoder, en textanalys och en semistrukturerad fokusgrupp. Syftet är att undersöka hur läslig, läsbar och läsvärd H&M:s text är för målgruppen unga människor och att få dem att berätta om deras syn på konsumtion i allmänhet och hållbart mode i synnerhet, samt hur de tänker kring hur man kan underlätta till en mer hållbar modekonsumtion.Utifrån min empiri och mitt teoretiska ramverk har jag tagit fram en ny text, skriven med en för målgruppen unga människor anpassad form av Klarspråk. Den nya texten utgår från två utvalda textstycken i den analyserade texten På väg mot hållbart mode och är för målgruppen därefter anpassad så att läslighet, läsbarhet och läsvärdet har ökat.

Laws and regulations govern the school kitchens in Sweden. The municipality controls how well the school kitchens obey those laws. An annual fee covers the municipality?s expenses for the public control of the school kitchens. To be able to calculate this annual fee, a risk evaluation needs to be done.

Background: Folate is a water - soluble vitamin necessary for normal DNA synthesis among  other mechanisms. Folate deficiency can cause megaloblastic anemia resulting from abnormal erythrocyte d evelopment. At the Department of Clinical Chemistry, Linköping, analysis of folate is performed with Siemens ADVIA Centaur® XP which uses an immunochemical method with chemiluminimetric detection. Currently, the assay is conducted on serum, is poured off and frozen after 48 h and treated with light protection because folate is considered to be light sensitive.Methods: This study tested lithium heparin plasma for analysis of folate with Siemens ADVIA Centaur® XP with the aim to be able to perform a package of analyzes in anemia investigation from the same collection tube. Furthermore, the stability of folate was studied for up to 168 h and examined regarding light sensitivity.Results: Statistically significant higher values were obtained in the analysis of folate in lithium heparin plasma than folate in serum (p < 0,001).

Although Lean has received an increased amount of attention in the service context, research still has not established how successfully Lean manages to increase service productivity; since service productivity consists of both efficiency and quality. Research regarding productivity discusses the risk of a tradeoff between efficiency and quality in service production processes. Therefore, this thesis aims to explore if the tradeoff in a production setting with low variability in demand and low customer participation exists, after Lean has been implemented. With a qualitative approach, a case study has been conducted at Scandinavian Airlines Ground Handling to evaluate the effects of Lean in the baggage handling process. The result of the study shows that the tradeoff has not been overcome; efficiency has increased at the expense of quality.

Although gang violence has gained much attention in Swedish media in recent years, women in gang environments remain unexplored. Recently the Swedish Gender Equality Agency (J?mst?lldhetsmyndigheten) published a report in March 2024 showing that women are being sexually exploited in gang environments, and the report has brought attention to women in gangs. This study examines gender-based violence in gang environments in Sweden. The aim of this study is to examine how intimate relationships with men in gang environments affect womens? agency to enter and leave gangs.
