I samband med publicering av militära doktriner startar allt som oftast en betydande debatt därdoktrinernas budskap diskuteras. Detta faktum har varit särskilt tydligt i USA vid utgivande avU.S. Navy´s doktriner. Doktrindiskussionen går till stor del att återfinna på olika militära tidskriftersdebattsidor vilka visar sig utgöra ett frekvent utnyttjat debattforum. Debattens inneboendekaraktär och tidskrifternas löpande publicering av inlägg gör det svårt att skaffa sig en täckandeoch rättvisande bild av den marina doktrindebattens innehåll och uttryck.

Genom ett kvalitativt frågeformulär svarade 53 stycken anhöriga till soldater och officerare på hur deras behov av anhörigstöd såg ut under tiden för en internationell insats. Uppsatsens frågeställning handlar om det  anhörigstöd som Försvarsmakten och externa stödorganisationer har utarbetat och om detta går i linje med de behov som finns hos de anhöriga. Syftet med uppsatsen är att jämföra Försvarsmakten och stödorganisationernas utbud på anhörigstöd med den anhöriges faktiska behov och därmed svara på uppsatsens frågeställning. Syftet är vidare att utifrån resultatet även kunna ge förslag på eventuella förbättringar på dagens anhörigstöd. Genom att analysera rådata har ett resultat kunnat redovisas som visar en markant förbättring av anhörigstödet i förhållande till det missnöje som presenterades av Officersförbundet och Synovate år 2008.

Det består av olika delsystem och strömförsörjs mha nätaggregat (PSU ? Power Supply Unit). I den här rapporten undersöks den befintliga PSU74-modellen samt nya switchade nätaggregat som finns på marknaden.Bakgrunden till att Bombardier vill byta ut PSU74 mot ett nytt switchat aggregat är att PSU74 har en vikt på 14 kg och tar stor plats i el-skåp. Ett swichat nätaggregat väger ungefär 1,5 kg och är så pass kompakt att det tar litet utrymme i el-skåpet.Bombardier har medvetet väntat med att gå över till SMPS eftersom tillförlitlighet blir ett problem.

SAAB Aerotech division FGR in Arboga builds and develops equipment and components used in both military and civilian applications. To build a test system for a specific project that SAAB is responsible for requires a simple signal generator that can provide a pulse modulated signal. The need to buy a new advanced signal generator for example from Agilent is not as profitable as the instrument is expensive and contains features that SAAB does not require in their applications and test systems. That was the reason why SAAB offers two students a thesis where the goal is to construct a signal generator in accordance with what SAAB requests.This thesis contains several different phases. The first step was a meeting with our supervisor Mats Bergman and by reading the data sheets for components to be used in the project, with these information and specifications that we have received from SAAB we started to construct the signal generator.What we did during the construction work was to simulate and draw a schematic to be able to design the circuit board.

Som en följd av dettauppkommer nya behov och krav på den indirekta bekämpningsförmågan i form avprecisionsbekämpning.Syftet med föreliggande arbete är att kartlägga om, och till vilken grad, ettkurskorrigerande tändrör bidrar till att öka den taktiska effektiviteten förstådd somverkanseffektivitet, kostnadseffektivitet, logistisk effektivitet samt minskad oönskadsidoverkan. Kartläggningen sker genom en komparativ litteraturstudie medkompletterande expertintervjuer.Med hjälp av kurskorrigerande tändrör som medger nära precisionsbekämpning kanen rad vinster erhållas. Exempel på sådana vinster är minskad spridning samt ökaddimensionering av verkan, minskad risk för oönskad sidoverkan, en lägre totalkostnad för ammunition samt minskat behov av transporter genom ökad effekt av detenskilda skottet..

Här anförs mycket ofta exempel ur den tyska militärhistorien. Vad är det då som särskilt utmärker den operativa ledningen i Tyskland? När, hur och varför har den uppstått, införts och genomförts?Arbetet redovisar den operativa ledningens utveckling i Tyskland ur militärhistoriskt perspektiv och utifrån tyska synpunkter. Det innehåller sålunda inga jämförelser med utvecklingen i andra länder.

A reform of higher education in Sweden in 1993 led to stiffer competitive climate among educational institutions. The reform meant that educational institutions now had the opportunity to plan their curriculum autonomously. Prior to the reform educational planning was restricted to the Swedish government. The new rules spelled a greater opportunity for educational institutions to profile themselves based on their educational offerings. The higher degree of competition means that marketing becomes increasingly important when recruiting new students.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how investments are justified in the Swedish data center industry, with a focus on cooling equipment. This is achieved through semi-structured interviews with 20 different interviewees. These interviewees represent different facets of the industry and facilitate an understanding of which factors, such as: investment costs, operating costs, reliability, environmental impact and the influence of external and internal actors, come into play and to which degree they impact the investment decision-making process. The results show that primarily low operating cost in the form of low energy consumption is the driving factor when it comes to the procurement of new equipment. A lower environmental impact is a positive side-effect of lower energy consumption.

Political analyst finds it obvious that the Islamic Al Qaida-cells by terrorism is trying to erode the stability in the kingdom.An important foundation for stability for any government is legitimacy. The aim of this thesis is to examine the royal legitimacy strategy in the state bureaucracy of Saudi Arabia. The question at issue is: how has the royal family constructed the civil, military and religious bureaucracies to maintain and promote stability and legitimacy?The thesis focuses on the on three different units within these three bureaucracies and it surveys the way they are staffed and organized to strengthen and maintain legitimacy for the royal family.

In the research and development department, R&D, there is a group that works with development of Shift-By-Wire systems. In an automobile with a Shift-By-Wire system the communication between the gear-shifter and the gear-box occurs electronically. The mechanical link is, in most cases, taken away and replaced by the digital system.

In the years between 2012 and 2014, Burma has been shaken by waves of violence against Muslims which has resulted in destroyed mosques and shops, at least 140 000 displaced and 200 killed persons. The person who is said to lay behind this violence is the Burmese Theravada monk Ashin Wirathu. Being the founder and leader of the radical Buddhist movement 969, he has been accused of indirectly motivating violence against Muslims and has been portrayed with titles such as ?The face of buddhist terror?. This essay investigates the relation between Wirathu and the anti-Muslim violence by applying the method of content analysis on a speech of him.

The aim of this master's thesis is to describe the role of language and culture as ethnical identification factors and illustrate how these have been used as political weapons by the Serb regime in Kosovo during the last decade. The thesis discusses the concept of ethnicity, the relations between the politics of identity, nationalism, ethnic mobilization and the importance of language and culture. Kosovo has historically been characterized by severe ethnic antagonism between Serbs and Albanians. Different languages, cultures and religions beside political processes led to ethnic cleavages that paved the way for ethnocentrism, ethnonationalism, chauvinism, ethnic cleansing and civil war. Since 1989, the Serbian authorities have intervened in all important spheres of life, in an attempt to Serbianize Kosovo.
