Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka hur en tidning som Aftonbladet handskas med frågan om det globala miljöhotet; vilka känslor de appellerar till genom sin kampanj i både text och bild. Material som analyseras i uppsatsen är Aftonbladets serie om det globala miljöhotet. Den innehåller artiklar om såväl obefintliga snögubbar i framtiden och ett översvämmat Stockholm som skövlad regnskog och den förre amerikanske vicepresidenten Al Gore´s egna miljötips. Kampanjens ständiga maning var att skriva på ett upprop på Aftonbladets hemsida och på så vis avge fem löften för att bli en bättre miljövän. Den visuella argumentationen analyseras och kommer bland annat att visa på en stark tonvikt på känsloargument..

The aim of this paper is to investigate the underlying motifs leading to the decision to appoint a supplemental liquidity provider and how they vary between companies. As the first study of its kind to take on an internal company perspective, the goal was to broaden the knowledge base of the field and lay ground for further studies. The study has been conducted by interviewing companies providing the service, their customers and the stock exchanges which they are traded on. The results show that there are two main motifs for appointing a liquidity provider, 1) Creating conditions for increased trade and 2) Improving the pricing of the stock. There was also a supplemental group 3) Other motifs consisting of the observations that would not fit in any of the main categories.

This harvest of energy puts a great stress on the global environment. With this development, it becomes increasingly important to utilize energy resources in the best possible way.Fans are components that are often used in the industry and in households. A common problem is that the fan is oversized. An oversized fan causes an excessive flow, which has to be adjusted in order to achieve the correct flow.

The purpose of this Masters-thesis is to examine the impact of identity politics on (a) Turkey's foreign policy towards Europe and the EU, and (b) Europe's/EU's political attitude towards Turkey, and what implications this may have on a possibly future Turkish membership in the EU. It is a more interpreting thesis than it is an explaining one. The examination shows that Turkey has considered Europe as a political model, while Europe has used the muslime Turkey as a threat to determine its own identity. The negotiations between EU and Turkey this autumn will have great impact on the identity of both sites. If the EU accepted Turkey as a member, the union could gain a chance to spread democracy to the islamic world and thereby earn global respect.

In todays sociaty the use of information systems is wide spread and many corporations and buisnesses both in large and small spread make use of more advanced and sopisticated systems. Larger corporations have their own IT sections that maintain and updates their systems on a daily basis. They have the money and resources for it by how do the small businesses coop with it. How satisfied are the small businesses that are maybe runing on systems that might not be supplying the needs that the business is in need of. In this paper we investigate this question in the form of a questionnaire.

Through trading with countries that have a relative aboundant supply of labor, Sweden changes it's effective supply of labor, in a Factor Content perspective. This essay does two Factor Content analyses, one for year 1995 and one for 2000. The first comparison of these analyses shows that Sweden exports about 27 600 labor-years more year 2000 than 1995. However, since Factor Content analysis arguably underestimates the imported labor, some assumptions are made in order to correct for this. This correction has great importance for the final analysis.

Abstract The growth of supra-national organizations, such as the European Union, has been a recent trend in today?s global environment, which has challenged traditional marketing concepts and product cues. One such cue that is significantly challenged is the 'origin cue'. An origin cue is conceived to be a socially constructed notion that consumers use to discern where goods come from and to accordingly evaluate products with. The origin cue is often predominantly materialized in the public sphere by a 'made in' labelling scheme.

Vi är på väg in i ett nytt samhälle, det postindustriella samhället även kallat informationssamhället. Ett av kännetecknen för detta samhälle är vad vi kallar globalisering, avstånden krymper och nationernas betydelse minskar. En avgörande effekt på denna omvandling har informationstekniken, IT haft. Den 11 september 2001 kapades fyra passagerarflygplan i USA för att sedan flygas in i Pentagon och World Trade Center. Händelserna 2001 fick stort genomslag på flygmarknaden som upplevde sitt största efterfrågefall någonsin. Ett företag som agerar på en krisdrabbad marknad tvingas vidta åtgärder för att hantera de förändrade villkor som uppstår som en följd av krisen. Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka huruvida dessa krisåtgärder påverkar företagets organisation även efter att krisens direkta påverkan på företaget upphört. Vi har undersökt detta genom att se till hur det skandinaviska flygbolaget SAS hanterade krisen den 11 september 2001 och huruvida de krisåtgärder som vidtogs står att finna även i företagets organisation våren 2006.

Bakgrund: De första Internetbaserade butikerna öppnade i mitten av 1990-talet och Internethandeln har sedan dess vuxit kraftigt. Den snabba tekniska utvecklingen har gjort att många svenska små e-handelsföretag har kunnat ta steget ut på en global marknad. Dock uppger hälften av alla svenska e-handlare att konkurrensen från utlandet har ökat på den svenska e-handelsmarknaden på grund av att e-handeln blivit allt mer global.Syfte: Vårt syfte är att undersöka och skapa förståelse för hur små e-handelsföretag arbetar för att kunna konkurrera på marknaden. Speciellt med tanke på att allt fler aktörer vill ta del av den stora andel kunder som Internets globalisering har medfört.Metod: Uppsatsen har en induktiv ansats och grundar sig i en kvalitativ forskningsmetod. Vi har genomfört sex stycken intervjuer med personer som arbetar och driver en e-handel på Internet.

Abstract. The trade in prostitution/sexual services is regarded as a major social problem in Sweden. The prostitutes are seen as a group of passive, neglected and exploited victims, subject to repeated and forced outrage. However, there exists a network of sexworkers who claim their free will in selling sex as a trademark. They describe themselves as active subjects with a business of selling sex out of free will.
