In this study, six teachers have been interviewed about their vision and teaching of reading comprehension, both for pupils who has cleared the reading code and those who have not. The aim is to illustrate if teachers in middle school spend time to exercise reading comprehension, or if this is left to the Swedish teachers. Thus only according to the subject Swedish, the students are entitled to be given the opportunity to develop reading strategies.The interviews are semi-structured based on qualitative research. The informants are three teachers of Swedish and three teachers of other subjects. Two different interview guides were used containing three questions.

The purpose of this qualitative interview study was to examine which approach experienced pre-school teachers have on children that seek negative attention. The study contains five informants in a city in the middle of Sweden and they all have at least 10 years of experience after their diploma from a pre-school teachers? program. The questions I aimed to answer were the following: How did the pre-school teachers define the expression ?negative attention?? What approach did they have on children that seek negative attention? What effects do the childrens? seeking of negative attention generate on their self-esteem and sense of security? How possible do the pre-school teachers feel it is to achieve the goals of the pre-schools? curricula that every child should get their needs respected and met, when they work with children that seek negative attention? The results showed that the teachers think of them as resources in the group and that they need to think of the environment around these children both at home and at the pre-school to better meet their needs.

This paper is an account of the work around the arrangement and registration of the archive of the Swedish Art-ists? Association?s archive. The Swedish Artists? Association is an association of artists that both makes exhibi-tions for their members? works and handles the Artists? House, called Konstnärshuset in Swedish. During the work with the archive the author faced a number of challenges and problems.

The aim of this studie centers on how lgbt (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) are portrayed in women?s magazines. The magazines we have chosen to analyze are FRIDA, VeckoRevyn and amelia, which all three have different target groups. We have, with the assistance of the rhetorical and semiotic analysis methods, assessed 18 articles with their associated photographs. These methods are part of the qualitative analysis model and are used in order to study less empirical data with more depth.

Maize for silage has been used as fodder in different parts of the world for a long time and has recently become more common also in Sweden. Our cold climate has been a problem as maize is very sensitive to low temperatures and frost. With new varieties and better techniques for cultivation it is now possible to grow maize in the southern and middle parts of Sweden. As for the north of Sweden the length of the cultivation season is a limiting factor as there are too few days with temperatures of over +10 ºC. Maize is well suited for silage making but oxygen-free conditions are required.

Denna studie behandlar ämnet forskningsanvändning i praktiskt socialt arbete och har genomförts i form av en diskursanalys av utvalda delar av den offentliga debatten kring ämnet.De frågeställningar som styrt arbetet är vilka strategier för forskningsanvändning som kan urskiljas samt hur det kan påverka socialarbetare i praktiken. För att besvara frågeställningarna gjordes ett strategiskt urval av texter utifrån begränsningar i fråga om tid och relevans för ämnet.De dokument som granskats utgörs av Socialstyrelsens rapport om kunskapsutveckling inom socialtjänsten samt ett antal debattartiklar ur tidsskriften Socionomen.Studien har utformats som en diskursanalys med inslag av den kvalitativa fallstudien, alltså inom den kvalitativa forskningstraditionen. Texterna har analyserats och sedan kategoriserats utifrån de deltagande aktörernas problemdefinition, orsak till problemets uppkomst, hinder och förslag till lösning. Vad gäller studiens vetenskapsfilosofiska position och teoretiska angreppssätt befinner sig denna studie inom ramen för den kritiska samhällsforskningen och i analysen av resultat och slutsatser har utvalda teorier kring makt och profession använts. I studien har även en genomgång av tidigare forskning på området genomförts och dess slutsatser har även använts i analysdelen.

The aim of this study was to investigate how four middle school teachers use and process the contents in read-aloud books, to stimulate the pupils interest in reading and increase reading comprehension. A qualitative approach was used to collect data, through interviews and observations. The findings show that all of the teachers work with read-aloud books regularly. The teachers state that read-aloud books have a positive effect on pupils language, vocabulary, reading comprehension, imagination and ability to reflect. The teachers have three distinctive purposes with read aloud-books, a moment of relaxation, create an interest in books and increase the pupils reading comprehension.

Syfte: Studiens syfte var att undersöka reliabiliteten i balanstesterna Unilateral stance och Limits of stability utförda på en Neurocom balance master över bestämd tid på friska individer. Material/metod: 11 friska försökspersoner mellan 23 och 29 år utförde balanstesterna Limits of stability och Unilateral stance vid fyra olika testtillfällen.

Människor med psykisk sjukdom har ofta på grund av sina funktionsnedsättningar stora svårigheter att ta kontakt med myndigheter vilket medför att de inte får sina behov tillgodosedda. I syfte att förbättra livsvillkoren och samordna insatser för dessa människor startades verksamheter med personligt ombud. Syftet med studien är att belysa olika samhällsaktörers erfarenheter av personligt ombud. De forskningsfrågor vi utgår från för att besvara syftet är hur aktörerna upplever och beskriver innebörden av det uppdrag de personliga ombuden utför samt hur de upplever att personliga ombud påverkat människor med psykiska funktionsnedsättningars möjigheter till integrering och delaktighet i samhället. Genom att intervjua flera enskilda aktörer från nätverket kring människan med psykisk funktionsnedsättning belyser studien vilken betydelse personligt ombud har för individen.

This study highlights the structures and networks thatexist among financial analysts on the Swedish financial market. The study isbased on nine semi-structured interviews with buy- and sell-side analysts, anindependent analyst and an Investor Relations Manager.The theoretical framework of the study is based on acombination of the research fields Behavioral Finance and Social Studies ofFinance. These two research fields have proven to be a good basis for thequalitative approach used in the analysis. The study is divided into four thematic areas: Fundamentals / Psychology, Independence and consensus, Ranking and Social network.The results show that there are a large number offactors, structures and interpersonal relationships that affect how analystsmake their decisions and conduct their analysis. Among other things, theinterdependence between analysts and their counterparts prohibits the movetowards a more clear system for compensation.

A large part of the time losses in production in modern manufacturing industry are a cause of unplanned interruptions in production. In this essay we have studied the effects of an unplanned interruption in production. The study was performed during one month on a press production line at Volvo Cars Body Components (VCBC) in Olofström. The effects of the interruptions have been studied on the basis of two perspectives of the environment of the production. The study started at the level of automation and was mainly done as a survey of the unplanned interruptions in production.
