Värmesystemet i kvarteret "Skruven" i Danderyd betjänas av en fjärrvärmeväxlare kompletterad med kondensorvärmen ur en kylmaskin. Målet med analysen är att bedöma hur systemet kan optimeras för att utnyttja kondensorvärmen så mycket som möjligt. Kondensorvärmen är i princip gratis då kylan maskinen producerar är nödvändig för verksamheten i fastigheten.En beräkningsmodell skapades i Microsoft Excel där anläggningens karakteristiska temperaturer och massflöden kan beräknas utifrån given utomhustemperatur och avgiven effekt ur kondensorn på kylmaskinen. Till modellen läggs energiberäkningar utifrån utomhus-temperaturer uppmätta i SMHIs mätstation i Bromma var tredje timme år 2009.En kostnadsanalys av hur förändringar i driftsättet påverkar hur stor del av den avgivna kondensorvärmen som kan tillföras värmesystemet har utförts. I analysen används Norrenergis kostnadsstruktur för fjärrvärmedebitering samt den beräknade kostnaden för den el kylmaskinen förbrukar.Fjärrvärmekostnaden i modellen uppgår till 219 000 kr/år, utan förvärmning kostar den 630 000 kr/år.

By conducting a text analysis this study analyzes possible similarities in the portrayal of story characters between historical Norse myths and contemporary film productions. The chosen historical texts are two stories from Norse mythology which render a myth about Thor and a giant named Hrunge as well as the myth Trymskvädet. The selected movies are two of the comic company Marvel?s productions about super heroes ? Thor and The Avengers. Different categories that this study compares are how the characters are defined by their possessions or artefacts, the actions and the choices which the characters make, and also how their relations, roles and origins are being portrayed.

This thesis describes the evaluation of a prototype (Illustrator) for future simulator training of Within Visual Range - combat in the Swedish Air Force. The main focus was to collect and transform user acceptance data (expert opinions) to useful guidelines for continued development. Thirteen active fighter pilots participated in the study. The aim was to use expert opinion to study a) the psychological user acceptance, and b) the technical user acceptance, of the Illustrator together with c) gathering opinions for future improvement. Three psychological aspects were rated before and after the sessions to measure psychological user acceptance.

This study examines which socially constructed threats and subjects of security existed during the aftermath of the terrorist attacks in Stockholm 2010. With ideas of identity and difference as a starting point the theoretical framework is then developed with ideas from the new critical security studies including key subjects such as attributes, risk, imaging and visualisation. The study will be executed with the use of a discourse analysis approach using newspaper articles and chronicles as the principal empirical material. The analysis will then follow two separate themes. Firstly, the different threats and subjects of security will be deduced, and also, how these social constructions inevitably create each other and require each other to continue existing.

The BA thesis Front Yard Gardens ? spatiality, design elements, expression and social aspects is a summary of the entrance and front yard garden phenomenon ? where the entrance is the set design and the designer is the director. The thesis touches the social context of which entrances have been and still are shaped. The various appearance of the entrance and front yard gardens throughout the history, starting with the first entrance by the edge of the wood and coming up to the front yard gardens of today, is described. It touches the present day through an analysis of some entrances and front yard gardens of modern residential areas.

This examination report is a part of a program for Industrial organisation and Economics with specialization in Logistics and Management at Jönköping University. The report contains an analysis of the internal material handling at Kongsberg Automotive, and also an improvement proposal for a new material handling system.The aim with the report is to find a better material handling system and also make an analyse of the existing system. The goal is to shorten the distance for the operators when they order material, and also to increase the productivity.The investigation methods for the report have for the most part consisted of observations and interviews of key-persons who daily work in the production. During some time the actual material handling-system has been observed and some shortcomings have been discovered, and these are also discussed in the report.The shortcomings that have been discovered are for once the indistinct signal that should signal need of material in the production. Some other activities have also been discovered that does not bring any value into the final products.

AbstractMaterial collected or created through observations, discussions and interviews with a group of students studying theatre in the fist year of upper secondary school formed the base for this paper. The students that took part in the observations showed a variety of motivations for the studies in theatre, but the major aim was to obtain qualifications for further studies at university. Special focus was put on a student with dyslexia attending the course in theatre from the perspective to strengthen general learning abilities. The training and teaching in acting skills as performed in the theatre studio provided the arena for the observations. The aim was to investigate if an interactive process as defined by Lev Vygotskij and the acting method created by Constantin Stanislavski would create social and artistic development among the students in the study.

Denna uppsats avser att undersöka och analysera fem verksamma behöriga bildlärares syn på bildsamtalets betydelse och användande i bildundervisningen. Detta eftersom bildsamtal är en viktig del i bildundervisningen enligt den gällande kursplanen i bildämnet (2000) och den kommande kursplanen i bildämnet (Lgr 11). I kursplanens mål står det utskrivet att reflektion och samtal ska ingå i undervisningen, trots det är mina egna erfarenheter att dessa delar ej förekommer så ofta i undervisningen.     För att undersöka fem lärares syn på bildsamtalets betydelse och användning av bildsamtal i bildundervisningen, har kvalitativa intervjuer genomförts i grundskolan med fem verksamma lärare i år 6-9. Min förhoppning var att dessa intervjuer skulle frambringa en bild av verksamma lärares uppfattningar om bildsamtal och hur de gestaltas i undervisningssammanhang.     Litteraturstudier har genomförts för att ge tyngd åt arbetet samt förståelse för vad samtal kan innebära för elevers utveckling.     I resultatdelen i uppsatsen redovisas de fem lärarnas uppfattningar om bildsamtalet i undervisningen.     Utifrån denna studie kan jag inte dra några generella slutsatser om hur bildlärare i allmänhet upplever att de arbetar med bildsamtal i sin undervisning. Metadata är en viktig del i arbetet med geografiska data. Med bra metadata kan användaren på ett enklare och effektivare sätt hitta de data som är intressant för just honom eller henne. Länsstyrelsen i Västmanland har stora mängder geografiska data och beslutsdokument som rör geografiska områden. Dessa geografiska data och dokument lagras på servrar och är tillgängliga för handläggarna (användarna). GIS-gruppen har tidigare lagrat metadata för dessa geografiska data i en databas uppbyggd i Microsoft Access men en nyutvecklad metadatabas, GisMeta, ska börja användas.

An atmosphere that supports the company's integration is needed, for which it is of great importance for management to understand the underlying sets of values that exist in the organisation, and to take into consideration the way they might become an obstacle or a tool for a successful integration. Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to explain and understand how cultural change occurs and how it affects the employee, as a smaller company is bought and integrated into a larger organisation. Procedure: The analysis is based on theories on organisational culture and organisational change.

Utvecklingen av tekniken och den globalisering som skett har öppnat upp möjligheten till ledarskap på distans. Elektroniska kanaler har gjort det möjligt att utnyttja kompetens världen över. Syftet med denna uppsats är att skapa en förståelse för hur en personlig kontakt upprätthålls i ett distansförhållande mellan ledare och anställd. Studien ämnar undersöka hur ledaren agerar för att skapa motivation hos sina anställda och identifiera vilka kommunikationsbarriärer som finns.En fallstudie utfördes på Ericsson som är ett ledande företag inom kommunikationsteknik och har verksamhet i 180 länder. Deras slogan är "A World of Communication".

Syftet med undersökning har varit att ta reda på idrottslärarens kunskap om och förhållningssätt till ätstörningar bland elever. Vilken kunskap anser idrottslärare sig ha om ätstörningar?Har skolan någon handlingsplan för elever med ätstörningar?Hur agerar idrottslärare mot elever som visar tecken på ätstörningar?Finns det någon skillnad på hur lärarna uppfattar sin kunskap och med antalet år de har jobbat? MetodJag har använt mig av en kvantitativ metod och i denna studie enkäter med både öppna och slutna svarsalternativ. Enkäterna besvarades av 72 lärare från hela landet. Urvalet av lärarna skedde genom ett bekvämlighetsurval, där datainsamlingen gjordes under ett Idrotts- och Hälsokonventet på GIH i Stockholm och till idrottslärare som arbetade i Stockholmsområdet. Sammanställningen av enkäterna har bearbetats i Microsoft Excel och statistikprogrammet SPSS. Resultat37 av lärarna instämmer i de delvis har bra kunskaper kring ätstörningar.

Reumatoid artrit är bland de vanligaste av de inflammatoriska ledsjukdomarna och som oftast börjar i händer och fötter. Sjukdomen varierar mycket och ger olika besvär i perioder, men på sikt kan hela kroppen påverkas. Prevalensen är ca 0,5-1% och incidensen 25-30/100000 invånare och år i Sverige. Debuterar i alla åldrar, men vanligast är i åldern 55-60 år. Det är 2-3 gånger vanligare hos kvinnor än män.

Within the field of cinema studies, the question of visual representation is a fundamental pillar. An immense volume of theoretical work has been written on the subject, with various academic approaches such as feministic, postcolonial and gay/lesbian. Yet there is a large social group that seems to have been overlooked within the representational discourse: the elderly. This group of people appears to be a blind spot on the multicultural retina, too often neglected within the area of cultural studies. But as the baby boomer generation, who has always redefined the different stages of life (youth, adulthood, middle age), is entering old age, things are slowly changing.
