The purpose of this report is to outline the development of a dynamic Microsoft Silverlight application, which will be able to present products and be administered in a simple manner. The project has been carried out at Incordia AB, a company that specializes in e-commerce, situated in Helsingborg, Sweden. Although the Silverlight application is customized for a particular site, forMicro AB (an ongoing project at Incordia), the template and the classes that are used to manage information, are developed so that they can be used in future projects for Incordia AB..

I dagens läge saknas en sammanställning av hur servervirtualisering är implementerat och hur det fungerar hos olika verksamheter i Sverige. Detta arbete har därför, genom en enkätundersökning, besvarat frågeställningen: "Hur ser servervirtualiseringen ut hos kommuner och landsting i Sverige?" Resultaten visade bl.a. att servervirtualisering är väl implementerat av kommuner och landsting i Sverige. Resultaten var dessutom väldigt lika mellan dessa organisationer.

The purpose of this project was to create a system which can handle issues, with other words an issue tracking system. The system must create issues, assign issues to a specific user and list all issues for each user. On top of that, each issue should have a log where users can log whatever they want.My part of this project was to implement a client which can fulfill this basic criteria (and a bit more if possible), and communicate with the server which has procedures to be executed by the client.This system is based on Android and has it purpose to be used by mobile devices which support Android. ?Ichnaea? as the system is called, is meant to be used by companies to have human interaction through the network..

Our project is divided into two parts, one production and written report. The main focus was the production part, were we used PHP to create simple solution for handling SMS and MMS with direct communication with the mobile operator server. We communicate with sockets and can handle CIMD2 and MM7 protocol. To get our components easy to use we have created two classes to handle SMS and MMS. To demonstrate our technical platform we created a website were you can create an account.

Det nya arbetslivet? är ett koncept utvecklat för de kommande medarbetarna från Generation Y som efterfrågar ett arbetssätt med möjlighet till balans mellan arbete och fritid. Arbetssättet ska ge ökad flexibilitet genom digitala hjälpmedel och även bidra till reducerade kontorsytor inom företaget, vilket innebär minskade utgifter. Övergången till arbetssättet kan dock upplevas som en svårighet för dagens medarbetare som främst består av den äldre generationen; Baby boomers och Generation X. Forskning visar att generationer har olika synsätt och värderingar som präglats av deras samtid.

Följande arbete syftar till att få en överblick av hur servervirtualisering ser ut hos privata företag i Sverige samt för att få en djupare förståelse för hur det fungerar rent tekniskt. I utredandeavsnittet presenteras information om hur servervirtualisering fungerar samt information om ett antal aktörer på virtualiseringsmarknaden. Avsnittet tar dessutom upp vilka fördelar servervirtualisering medför ur ett kostnads och miljöperspektiv. Genomförandeavsnittet presenterar intervjuerna som har genomförts genom personliga besök på IT-företag och företag med en intern IT-avdelning. The aim of this paper is to describe which view the Chinese government in connection with the Olympics wants to display for the natural world and analyze if this view coincide with China?s foreign-policy goals. A qualitative content analysis is used. By using the theory of rational choice and a model with three different political approaches I want to examine whether or not the foreign-policy goals of the Chinese regime comport with the view that displays in two major newspapers in China. Since the runoff voting in Moscow in 2001 for the 2008 Olympics the Chinese government has been able to act rational and to compose different strategies to use the Games in Beijing for political propaganda.

This report documents the development of a software system for automaticscheduling called Hazel. This system is comprised of a server where an automaticscheduler has been implemented, as well as a web and mobile applicationthat allows users to interact with the system. The scheduler hasbeen developed with the functional programming language Haskell and usesa SAT-solver.Manual scheduling has long been the bane of managers everywhere, asmatching the needs of the employer with those of the employee is often adifficult and time-consuming task. There already exists several automaticschedulers that attempt to solve this problem. The issue with said schedulersis that thay tend to be expensive, or developed to only fulfill the needsof a particular organisation.

I uppsatsen studeras representationen av William Shakespeares pjäs Hamlet i affischsammanhang. Ett antal Hamletaffischer från 1900-talet framtill 2008 beskrivs, tolkas och analyseras. Fokus ligger främst på det aktuella anslaget från 2008 års produktion på Dramaten i Stockholm. Bakgrunden innehåller kortare teoriavsnitt om klassisk och visuell retorik, bildstruktur, semiotik samt affischens historia och roll i dag. En kortare beskrivning av pjäsens handling ger en naturlig ingång till den kortare presentationen av samtliga affischer som följer.

Många gamla spel som spelades på gamla konsoler och datorer kördes på sammamaskin med två eller flera spelare anslutna med egna individuella kontroller. Idag ärinternet väl utspritt och många spel erbjuder multiplayer-spel via internet. Detta varförstås inte möjligt på de gamla konsolerna och datorerna, men med hjälp av deemulatorer som finns för många gamla plattformar idag kan man skapa möjlighetenatt spela över internet i de gamla spelen genom att skicka varje knapptryckning enspelare utför mellan spelarnas datorer och på det sättet emulera det existerandeflerspelarläget i spelet.Kaillera-protokollet, som är baserat Client-server-arkitekturen, är ett protokolldesignat för att spela gamla spel genom emulatorer över nätverk. Det harimplementerats i ett antal populära emulatorer med hjälp av ett tredjepartsbibliotekmed samma namn. Kaillera fungerar genom att synkronisera spelarnas input for eachbild som visas i spelet.

Detta examensarbete är gjort för Goodwill Reklambyrå i Norrköping. Uppgifterna var att skapa en hemsida och en företagsportal åt företaget. Med företagsportal menas en applikation upplagd på Internet där företagets anställda kan läsa, uppdatera, radera och skapa poster som är lagrade i databaser. I huvudsak har Flash använts för att skapa hemsidan och ASP (Active Server Pages) för att bygga upp företagsportalen. Resultatet blev en underhållande och informativ hemsida och en säker och användbar företagsportal.
