Information handling has been a key issue for different companies for a long time. Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is used to transfer different business documents from one company to another. This is done in such way that the information itself is separated from how this information is stored and handled in the companies internal systems. As different companies have different systems there is a need for a standardised format for this exchange. There is a big difference between EDI-systems based on what kind of EDI-standard is used. The most common standard in Europe is EDIFACT, but with increased interest of using the Internet for business communication there is a need for a standard that is adjusted for use over the Internet.

This thesis investigates how lobbying influences the European Union Strategy for Sustainable and Circular Textiles (2020-2025). It asks which actors dominate, what strategies they use, and how these patterns can be explained by pluralism, corporatism, new institutionalism, and Kl?ver?s exchange logic. Using a qualitative case study with process tracing and text analysis, the study examines consultation data, official EU documents, and transparency reports. Findings show that commercial actors dominate consultations and expert groups, prioritising product-focused measures over systemic change, while transparency gaps enable informal influence.

This essay investigates, on the basis of the medieval letters, diplomas, how the medieval monasticism contributed to the maintenance of the Danish society's gender structures. The theoretical starting points for the study are gender and class structures and Marcel Mauss presented gift - giving theory. Finally, a continuous comparison is made with Catharina Andersson's results in her dissertation, in which she examines the social structure in the Swedish medieval society. The primary material in the study is the Danish diplomas. 41 diplomas were found relevant for this study.

The aim of this Masters thesis is to investigate the notions and use of non fiction literature of children 9-11 years old. Moreover, this study tries to dissect the underlying concepts that exert influence over the target groups notions and use of non fiction literature. The method and empirical basis of this study is qualitative, with interviews of eight children within the target group. We use a theory of reading exchange to highlight the different areas of usability of non fiction for children. To emphasize how children use non fiction as representative for actual facts, or as non fiction with fictional content, we use a four-field correlation model.

Trenden inom systemutveckling och programutveckling går mot ett mer användande av multiprogrammeringsparadigmer.Funktionell programmering har fått mer uppmärksamhet på senare tidoch utvecklingen tycks över lag gå än mer åt detdeklarativa hållet där programmeraren fokuserarmer påvad som skall utföras och inte lika mycket på hur. Under en tid har det objektorienteradeparadigmet varit dominerande, kommer det vara så i framtiden? Funktionell programmering skiljersig från imperativ programmering, speciellt i abstraktionsnivå.Microsoft har implementerat programmeringsspråket F# i Visual Studio 2010. F# är ett funktionelltprogrammeringsspråk som även stödjer objektorienterad och imperativ programmering. Kan F# fåfunktionell programmering som paradigm att växa? Kommer F# få något genomslag iprogrammeringsvärlden? Genom att höra experter och företags åsikter vill vi framställa en prognosför F#.

Detta examensarbete har genomförts i samarbete med byggteknikavdelning på Ramböll Sverige AB, i Norrköping/Linköping. På företaget finns ett behov av att förenkla arbetet med vindlastberäkningar för hallbyggnader enligt Eurokoden. Idag använder företaget en förenklad metod som överdimensionerar. För att kunna göra en mer exakt beräkning helt enligt Eurokoden och effektivisera arbetet har det i detta examensarbete skapats en beräkningsmall för detta ändamål. Beräkningsmallen har tagits fram i programmet Microsoft Excel.För att också kunna se konsekvenserna av att jobba med en förenklad metod, har det utförts en jämförelsestudie mellan två befintliga projekt på företaget.

I denna rapport beskrivs utvecklingen av ett program och en databas för hantering av datatänkt att användas på ett möbelföretag, Horreds Möbel AB. Med en kravspecifikation somutgångspunkt och med hjälp av ett utvecklingsverktyg, UML (Unified Modeling Language)har en mall för programmets utseende arbetats fram. Ur denna mall formas de funktionerprogrammet behöver och hur de rent teoretiskt ser ut. Även vilka objekt, klasser och andraviktiga komponenter som programmet kommer att ha, formas på samma sätt.Med hjälp av två program, MS SQL 2000 och JBuilder2005, och det UML genererat, har endatabas och ett program formats. Dessa kommunicerar med varandra för att hantera data förolika syften.

There is an ongoing discussion about the declining quality of the teaching in the swedish school. This essay is a contribution to that discussion. It suggests that a certain kind of dialogue is necessary for the quality of the teaching to recover, and thereby also the quality of the students? education.The author turns firstly to philosophers of dialogue and finds in their works views appropriate to use when facing the situation of the swedish school. With the ideas of Martin Buber the author redefines the students as creatures of relationships.

Clustered Columnstore Indexes (CCI) and In-Memory Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) are two new techniques that were introduced with Microsoft?s new database management system SQL Server 2014.The thesis analyzes these two techniques, describes the theory behind them and also the background information that needs to be known to understand more of the new techniques. Performance tests of the new techniques have been performed to see how much faster response time we can get and less storage we need to use where the result is represented by performance diagrams and a compression diagram. This thesis is a cooperative work with a company called Trimma and the result is used as support to decide if these new techniques could be of advantage for the company.The test consists of five test queries with different purposes. The result is illustrated by diagrams that show the result and another diagram that shows how much the data gets compressed with the different techniques.

The focus of this thesis is on social workers? knowledge in assessing and making decisions in child welfare cases. The primary aim is to identify what skills or knowledge social workers find most useful within child welfare agencies in Swedish municipalities. Six different types of knowledge, social policy and the approach of child welfare cases are perspectives considered in the analysis. The interviews with social workers were held in three agencies in southern Sweden, in 2014.

The main aim of this paper is to consider the possible effects of a transition to a new accounting standard for goodwill. According to IASBs Exposure Draft of Proposed Amendments to IFRS 3 Business Combinations there is an inconsistency in the currently used purchased goodwill method. The full goodwill method is considered to be a superior alternative and is therefore suggested to become the standard from 2007. This paper comprises a quantitative study of the effects on certain key ratios for companies listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange, arising due to the proposed transition. The period examined is 2004 and 2005.

Ledarskapsteorin Leader-Member Exchange (LMX) menar att en hög kvalité i relationen mellan ledare och medarbetare är viktig för olika organisatoriska utfall. Då forskning inte fokuserat på vilka relationsaspekter som medarbetare värderar som viktiga inom specifika branscher, är denna studie ett avstamp till området. Syftet med undersökningen var att ta reda på vilka relationsaspekter som säljmedarbetare värderar som viktiga i relationen till sin närmsta chef, om värderingen av dessa relationsaspekter har ett samband med medarbetares upplevelse av den befintliga relationen till sin närmsta chef och om relationsaspekterna värderas olika beroende på den befintliga kvalitén i relationen. En enkätstudie genomfördes där LMX samt relationsaspekter behandlades. Deltagarna bestod av 70 säljmedarbetare på ett globalt företag i Mellansverige.

The title of this thesis is ?Accessible Landscape - boardwalks in nature areas?. The main purpose of this thesis is to show how you can increase the accessibility for disabled people by constructing boardwalks in nature areas. The platform for the thesis is a study of litterature on boardwalks, accessibility and disabilities. After defining these terms I made three excursions to three different locations in the south of Sweden. During the excursions I evaluated the boardwalks situated in each of the areas through preferences such as the construction of the boardwalk, its design and the accessibility. After the excursions I interviewed managers of the areas I visited, and people working with disability questions in the municipalities where the excursions took place. To know how to make a boardwalk accessible you need to have knowledge about certain concepts, rules and recommendations. My thesis deals with aspects such as: *Accessibility *Disability *Rules and recommendations when building boardwalks *Real life - evaluation from the excursions and interviews with the managers The result shows that accessibility is a hot topic in Sweden and a lot of improvement is being done with fi nancial support from the European Union.

Entrepreneurship is considered essential for the Swedish economy, as well as globally. Accordingly,massive efforts are put into creating environments that successfully can support new ventures. The business incubator is a prominent part of these efforts and is important especially for the knowledge shared within its internal network. The aim of this study is to further explore how different activitieswithin the incubator can influence the interaction, and thereby the construction of social capital,among the incubatees. Using a qualitative case study of three incubators, and the framework of theincubator model, it is concluded that three distinguishing components within the framework influence the interaction, namely infrastructure, mediation and business support.

Inledning: Människans utsläpp av växthusgaser påverkar klimatet kraftigt, internationellt samarbete är avgörande för att minska det globala utsläppet. EU:s utsläppshandel inleddes i januari 2005 och omfattar ca 1300 anläggningar inom industri och energi produktion. Terminer på utsläppsrätter introducerades i april 2005 och i samband med det öppnades European Climate Exchange som idag är den ledande och mest likvida marknadsplatsen för handel med utsläppsrätter i Europa och internationellt. I enlighet med hur aktiepriser påverkas av utomstående faktorer generellt på aktiemarknader vill författarna undersöka om priserna på utsläppsrätter påverkas av en utomstående faktor.Syfte: Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur priset på utsläppsrätter på ECX spotmarknad reagerar på klimatmötet i Köpenhamn samt om marknaden för utsläppsrätter är effektiv.Metod: Genom att använda finansiella marknadsdata kan en eventstudie mäta vilka följder ett specifikt event har på det undersökta objektet. För att kunna värdera hur eventet påverkar priset på utsläppsrätter tillämpas en uträkning av den abnorma avkastningen, vilket är den verkliga avkastningen minus den normala avkastningen under eventfönstret.Teoretisk referensram: Det teoretiska angreppssättet kommer att utgöras av den effektiva marknadshypotesen.
