Kommissionen inledde i februari 2000 en omfattande utredning mot Microsoft baserad på Sun Microsystems klagan om Microsofts konkurrensbegränsande förfaranden 1998. Utredningen bestod av två delar; interoperabilitet mellan PC-klientoperativsystemsmarknaden och servermarknaden och integrationen av Windows Media Player i Windows. I mars 2004 kom Kommissionens beslut där de drog slutsatsen att Microsoft dubbelt missbrukat en dominerande ställning genom att förhindra effektiv konkurrens på arbetsgruppsservermarknaden och bundit sin mediaspelare till sitt operativsystem. Microsoft överklagade Kommissionens beslut till Förstainstansrätten och den 17 september 2007 kom domen, vilken i huvudsak bekräftade Kommissionens beslut. Mitt syfte i denna uppsats är att undersöka den första delen av Kommissionens beslut angående interoperabilitet och sedermera Förstainstansrättens dom, för att avgöra hur väl de dragna slutsatserna överensstämmer med praxis, vad prejudikatet kan innebära för framtiden samt i vilken mån företag kan bli skyldiga att lämna ut information.I min analys och de avslutande kommentarerna redogör jag för min slutsats att Kommissionens beslut och Förstainstansrättens dom faktiskt är skäliga, men att prejudikatet måste vaktas av de exceptionella omständigheter som föreligger i fallet.

This master?s thesis was performed at PartnerTech AB in Åtvidaberg. It addresses the problem of managing test results obtained from testing electronics manufactured by PartnerTech. PartnerTech has developed a test system, called Tor, which performs tests on manufactured boards and stores the test results in files. The Tor system consists of both hardware and software part, where the software runs on an ordinary PC with MS DOS/Windows 2000.

Datoranvändningen i samhället växer för varje dag. Det är då viktigt att programvara håller hög kvalité, då vissa programvaror styr kritiska maskiner som exempelvis flygplan. Ett sätt att få kvalitativa programvaror är att använda bra utvecklingsverktyg. I detta arbete utvärderas fem olika utvecklingsverktyg: GNAT (Ada), Microsoft Visual C++, Microsoft J++, Borland Delphi och Active Perl. Inriktningen på utvärderingen är mot utveckling av programvara för PLC-system.

This paper is about the new programming language from Microsoft, C# (See Sharp) and the .NET Framework. They are still in beta-version, but will be released on the market in February 2002. This paper presents C#, not in detail but the characteristics that distinguish the language. A comparison is done with C++ and Java, since C# is most resembling to these languages. Specific operations, such as integration ofuser interfaces, database connections and the ability to divide programs intosmaller components, are discussed. A number of architectural - and designpatterns to facilitate development are analysed.Several techniques have been made up in consultation with experiencedprogrammers. Molntjänsterna Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive och Box har implementerats. Syftet med rapporten är att observera vilka problem som kan uppstå vid implementationen av molntjänsterna, och hur dessa problem kan lösas. Resultatet blev att molntjänsterna hade liknande problem. Problemen som uppstod var att alla molntjänster förutom Google Drive kunde bara öppna filväljaren i en popup. Att ange rätt domännamn blev ett problem för flera molntjänster då det var olika hur mycket av URLen som behövde anges, vilket berodde på respektive API..

Syftet med detta examensarbete är att med avseende på Snow Softwares databas försöka att effektivisera samt omstrukturera de procedurer som hanterar deras regelverk. Den är ej inriktad på att utvärdera eller förändra de algoritmer som redan finns i Microsoft SQL Server.Ett flertal olika prototyper framställdes och utvärderades. Dessa var ej specifika för just denna databas och kan därför vara intressanta även i andra sammanhang. Den prototyp som visade sig vara mest effektiv implementerades så att den enkelt skulle kunna tas i bruk i det nuvarande systemet. Prototypen gav en ungefärlig förbättring i söktid på 18,8 %.

Det här examensarbetet har utförts på uppdrag av Logica part of CGIoch i samarbete med deras kund Thermoprodukter. Syftet med arbetetär att undersöka om Thermoprodukters verkliga processer stämmeröverens med Microsoft Dynamics NAV Process Flows.Genom att först göra en analys av Microsoft Dynamics NAV ProcessFlows har den tänkta arbetsprocessen identifierats. Sedan harThermoprodukters processer identifierats samt ritats upp i ett flödes-­??schema. För att slutligen kunna jämföra processerna och få ut ett resultatom dessa stämmer överens eller inte.Resultatet visar att processerna stämmer bra överens med varandra menatt det självklart finns skillnader då Thermoprodukter har en delspecialbyggda moduler..

BackgroundIncubators are important facilities for economic growth in society. The main purpose of incubators is to accelerate knowledge intensive firms onto their market by both providing resources and an entrepreneurial environment.Problem Companies within incubators are encouraged to share knowledge and experience with each other with the goal to stimulate development and invention of new technology. This exchange involves interaction on an inter-personal and inter-organizational level. Incubators need to create an open and transparent environment in order to enable this exchange on both levels.Purpose The purpose of this study is to enhance the understanding of how knowledge and experience exchange occurs within the context of incubator systems. By understanding how incubators can capture knowledge and learn from the incubator process, this study can contribute by insights of how the incubator process can be further improved.Method This bachelor thesis is written from an abductive approach and is based on a qualitative case study of Ideon Innovation in Lund.

Vi har i detta arbete undersökt om det går att använda datorn som ett pedagogiskt hjälpmedel i NO-ämnena, år 4-9, utan att ha specialprogram. Vi har utgått från Microsoft Office 97 och studerat följande frågeställningar: Hur kan det utnyttjas? Är det möjligt att hinna sätta sig in i det inom en vanlig lärartjänst? Går det att skapa en pedagogisk resurs av datorerna utan specialprogram? För att få svar på våra frågeställningar har vi studerat litteratur för att se vad som menas med en pedagogisk resurs. Vi har läst om olika inlärningsteorier och om hur datorn används idag. Vi har dessutom gjort 6 applikationer i programmen Access, Excel och PowerPoint och skrivit en lärarhandledning till dessa för att intresserade ska kunna göra dem själva.

About 35 years ago the WHO advocated that countries with injecting drug users should introduce the so-called needle exchange programs (NEP) to curb the spread of infection by blood-borne diseases. In Sweden the first NEP started 1985 in Lund, but the program was extremely controversial in a country with such a restrictive drug policy like Sweden.The study you are about to read shall process this controversy, when a NEP opened in Stockholm, by analyzing the articles published in the newspapers Dagens Nyheter and Svenska Dagbladet. By using discourse analysis as a processing tool we?ll try to see the difference between the two chosen newspapers. We will identify and analyze the different participant?s, such as doctors, politicians, user associations and media, arguments in the needle exchange issue.

Periods of hypoxia are a recurring issue in Brunnsviken. Main factors that trigger hypoxia in Brunnsviken are eutrophication  due to anthropogenic emission of nutrients, stratification in the water column due to salinity and temperature differences  that prevents mixing and a sill inlet that prevents water exchange. As an attempt to improve the oxygen levels, bottom water is pumped from Brunnsviken causing aerated surface water to flow back into the basin.  The objective of this Master?s thesis was to study the change in dissolved oxygen levels due to pumping.
