Skanska Sverige AB vill undersöka möjligheterna att Svanenmärka sitt flerbostadshuskoncept ModernaHus. I dagsläget är det endast småhus som kan Svanenmärkas. För att få ett småhus Svanenmärkt krävs att 50 obligatoriska kriterier uppfylls, samt att bland 8 poänggivande kriterier erhålla 23 poäng. Rapporten är gjord som en fallstudie på ModernaHusprojektet Söderberg 3 i Kristianstad. Analysen utfördes i två delar.

Problem Discussion: Nissan Diesel became a part of the Volvo Group in the end of March, 2007. A year has passed and the integration process is making progress but it is perceived to lack some momentum. Our sponsor would like to understand if there are any potential barriers to the integration process. (Haspeslagh, et al., 1991) and (Pablo, 1994) presents two different sets of determinants that can be used to decide the level of integration; ?difference in organizational culture? and ?strategic task? (Pablo, 1994) and ?Need for Organizational Autonomy? and ?Need for Strategic Interdependence? (Haspeslagh, et al., 1991).

This essay examines how the author of 1 Peter exhorted Christ-believing slaves and wives in 1 Pet 2:18-3:6, a passage that invites questions about submission, questions that, in contemporary contexts, are oftentimes controversial. The essay also calls attention to the advantages and the complexities of understanding 2:18-3:6 relative to ancient Roman familial and hierarchical structures. A close exegetical analysis of the passage points out a variety of scholarly viewpoints on ?Peter?s? admonitions to slaves and wives. Following the exegetical analysis, attention is given to feminist hermeneutics and to potential uses of this biblical text in contemporary contexts.

The absence of female directors on Swedish corporate boards is currently a hot topic for both politicians and business leaders all over the world. This thesis aims to discuss reasons for the scarcity of women on boards in Swedish publicly listed companies as well as what actions are taken to alter the composition of these boards. A rigorous selection of gender theories have been used together with data collected from in-depth interviews with mainly board members and nomination committees. Extensive analysis has led to findings that historical perceptions of differences between men and women linger as of today, which prevents women to reach top executive levels as well as board positions. The increasing use of headhunters has encouraged companies to look beyond male-dominated networks in an attempt to widen the range of potential board nominees.

Internet är fullt av udda företeelser som ingen skulle känna till om det inte vore för att Internets tekniska uppbyggnad skapade en ?lika för alla?-miljö. 1998 fick svenska väljare möjlighet att kryssmarkera bredvid en kandidat om väljaren ansåg att partiet hade placerat denne för långt ner på partilistan. Detta i kombination med Internets potential för aktörer att göra sig hörda utan att det kostar några större summor skapar nya utrymmen i den svenska demokratin.I detta arbete tittas närmare på de politiker som blev invalda i riksdagen enbart tack vare personkryss i valet 2002. Jag har koncentrerat mig på deras webbnärvaro och utreder huruvida denna uppfyller demokratiska kriterier eller ej..

The aim of this thesis is to examine possibilities concerning subject access to fiction film, i.e. appropriate ways to describe fiction film for subject retrieval. Problems regarding subject indexing in general, and subject indexing of fiction film in particular, are identified, as well as the uniqueness of fiction film and film genres. Four types of subject aspects are discussed: form and genre, fictitious characters, setting, and general topics. Several guidelines, form- and genre lists, and subject headings lists are examined and treated as potential indexing tools.

In today?s society there is an increasing demand for renewable energy sources such as sun and wind power. These sources are intermittent, and energy storage is therefore needed to ensure a constant power supply. This report compares pumped hydro energy storage (PHES), compressed air energy storage (CAES), flywheels, batteries, super magnetic energy storage (SMES) and hydrogen energy storage.The opportunities for further development are limited for PHES and CAES in comparison with the other technologies. Lithium-ion batteries and hydrogen energy storage are considered to have the most potential in the future.

Vårt syfte är att beskriva och analysera hur benchmarkinganvänds i svenska detaljhandelskedjor med inriktning mot mode. Syftet är även att behandla fallföretagens erfarenheter av benchmarkingarbetet och ta reda på om det finns potential hos styrverktyget som inte utnyttjas. Vi har utfört en kvalitativ fallstudie, med en deduktiv ansats av fyra detaljhandelskedjor. Vår teoretiska teferensram består till störst del av teori gällande benchmarkingprocessen. Det empiriska materialet har insamlats genom intervjuer med personer på AB Lindex, KappAhl AB, Hennes & Mauritz Ab och Dressmann AB.

Den tekniska utvecklingen i samhället gör att medieanvändning i dagens skola är ett ämne som ställer krav på både lärare och elever. Den teoretiska utgångspunkten grundas på en sociokulturell syn på lärande och den potential visuella medier som TV och film har som ett pedagogiskt verktyg i klassrummet. Detta arbete undersöker vidare en grupp lärares attityder om och användning av medier som TV och film på högstadie- och gymnasieskolor i en kommun i södra Sverige. En undersökning baserad på 43 enkäter och sex intervjuer ligger till grund för den analys och diskussion som belyser hur denna grupp lärare använder TV och film i undervisningen, vilket material de använder och varför de använder detta. Undersökningens resultat tyder på en medvetenhet hos berörda lärare angående mediernas olika funktioner för att intressera och engagera elever.

Intranets can streamline workflow processes, improve communication and add value to the employees of an organization. Companies that don?t take advantage of the potential in their intranet is a common phenomenon. In connection with a migration project dealing with a switch of content management system it turned out that SAS Technical Services lacked clear objectives and strategies for the use of their intranet. Thereby they didn?t make the most of the possibilities an intranet brings.The work with this thesis began with collecting the experiences the company could take with them from the migration project.

Purpose: The purpose of the present study is to investigate whether and how nine teachers of special education for older students, primarily at Upper secondary school, consider the smartphone an appropriate pedagogical means of assistance to improve participation and to support students with special education needs within and outside the school environment. Theory: The theoretical framework for the study is the sociocultural perspective on learning. The sociocultural perspective is related to the relational perspective and sociocultural learning theory involves learning and participation in school. It views the human being as socially active within a certain historical and cultural context which actively influences the way we act, how we learn and develop through interaction with others in the social, everyday practice. The latter is of vital importance here.

Det handlar om att tillgodose dagens behov utan att förstöra möjligheterna för kommande generationer att tillgodose sina.Vårt examensarbete undersöker förutsättningarna för hållbar möbelproduktion. och vi gör detta genom ett flödesschema som skall användas vid uppstart av hållbart producerande företag. Idén bygger på att råvarorna utvinns och förädlas inom en femmilsradie.Vi hoppas kunna åstadkomma en djupare relation mellan användaren och objektet än vad endast köpande och ägande ger. Vi har valt att tydliggöra konstruktion och uppbyggnad, samtidigt som formen uppmanar förnuftet till kritiskt ifrågasättande av stabilitet och hållbarhet både konkret och i ett vidareperspektiv.

When contemplating entering an alliance the rationale behind the decision should differ depending on the size of the companies involved as well as on other important factors. The important factors influencing the decision are related to the resource pooling potential of the alliance, the power structure along with the business network the companies are a part of. The analysis has shown proof of a need for cooperation if one wish to succeed in the telecommunication industry and it has also determined which resources that are deemed to be most important to get in touch with, for our study object, to facilitate its access to the market. Those resources are defined as a direct channel to the customer, funds/capital and the access to relevant business networks. To get in touch with these lacking resources, three alternative approaches has been proposed; all of them involving a strategic alliance decision.

Acid sulphate soils is a wide spread problem along the northern coast of Sweden. This is causing great damage through low pH and leaching of metals out into the streams. These soils are estimated to be found in several places in Sweden but also in many other areas in the world. One of these areas in Sweden that are believed to contain these sediments is Mälardalen. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the extension of the acid sulphate soils in this area.

Genom Internets uppkomst och sociala mediers utveckling har konsumenter allt mer börjat vända sig bort från traditionella medier som radio, TV och nyhetstidningar. Detta eftersom konsumenter ser sociala medier som en mer trovärdig källa till information och att det erbjuder dem att själva ha kontroll över sin mediekonsumtion. Sociala medier erbjuder även konsumeter att sprida information till en global publik. Eftersom att konsumenter fått mer kontroll över sin tillgång till information har konsumenter även fått en makt i sin relation till företag. Samtidigt utsätts konsumenter för mängder av marknadsföringsbudskap dagligen vilket har skapat ett mediebrus.
