Imageination: En uppsats om imageöverföring inom sponsring och Event Marketing

There are two main reasons for why companies engage in sponsoring and Event Marketing; affecting the brand awareness and/or the image of the brand. Historically the main focus within the research field has been on how sponsoring and Event Marketing can create and achieve high brand awareness. More research regarding the image transfer from event to brand has been requested and this study is to be considered as an attempt to begin filling this gap. Today we see more and more brands choosing to arrange their own events; hoping to attain a more direct connection between the event and the brand. This trend raises questions such as - Do brands arranging their own events receive more image transfer from event to brand compared to brands sponsoring the same kind of event? - Are there any differences between an established well-known brand and a new unknown brand? - Will an event fully owned by a brand attract more or less people than an event arranged by someone considered to be less biased? These are some of the questions asked and answered within this thesis.

Mincing the brand ? A study of the relationship between private labels and retailer brands

Purpose: To contribute to the understanding of the relationship between private labels and the retailer brand in grocery retailing. Methodology: We use structured interviews as a cross-sectional method for quantitative data collection. The existence of the relationship is tested through correlation analysis and regression analysis. Theoretical perspective: Perceived quality of private labels and of retailers are the main theoretical concepts for this thesis. Additionally, we introduce the concept of loyalty to show the benefits of a positive consumer image.

Varumärkesidentitet VS image - Att bli sedd är inte samma sak som att bli förstådd

Syftet med denna rapport är att jämföra hur två företag inom konfektionsbranschen skapar sin varumärkesidentitet samt visa hur den återspeglas i deras image. Rapporten reder ut begreppen varumärkesidentitet och image och applicerar dessa begrepp på företagen H&M och JC. Företagens varumärkesidentitet sammanfattas genom en empirisk analys av företagen baserad på Identitetsprismat av Jean-Noël Kapferer. Utifrån varumärkesidentiteten utförs en enkätundersökning för att undersöka hur företagens identitet reflekteras i den image som återfinns i kundernas medvetande. Valet av företag baseras på deras aktualitet inom media angående respektives arbete kring varumärkesidentitet.

Ett köpcentrums dilemma : En studie om skillnader i varumärkesidentitet och image

Avsikten med studien är att beskriva vilka problemområden som kan uppstå vid skillnader mellan varumärkesidentitet och image hos ett köpcentrum. För att undersöka detta har vi valt att studera hur Galleria Duvan i Karlstad arbetar med sin varumärkesidentitet. Därefter har vi undersökt hur konsumenterna uppfattar denna identitet och vilken image denna organisation har hos dem.För att genomföra våra studier har vi använt oss av en kvalitativ metod där de intervjuer vi har utfört har varit djupintervjuer. En intervju på en representant från Galleria Duvans marknadsgrupp har genomförts samt tio stycken intervjuer på konsumenter. Resultatet av studien har gett indikationer på att det finns skillnader mellan köpcentrumets identitet och den image som konsumenterna upplever. Dessa skillnader ligger främst i kommunikationen av budskapet via sin marknadskommunikation.

This study aims to draw attention to the discourse of Swedish language teachers and their literary repertoires from a didactic perspective. This leeds to the following inquiries: ?how to define and delineate a broader concept of text;? ?how realized is this concept in Swedish upper secondary schools;? and ?how does the use of the broader concept of text effect the ability to learn.? The empirical data comprise group interviews with six teachers who work at two different schools, in different towns, located in southern Sweden. The data are transcribed and carefully analysed by tools consistent with methodological approaches. The theoretical framework consists of discursive psychology.

Learning Resource Centre (LRC) ? en bibliotekstrend?

Learning Resource Centre, or LRC, is an international phenomenon and a response to the changing society that came with the development of information technology. The LRC concept spread internationally during the 1990s and began to influence Swedish collage libraries at the end of the decade. The main purpose of this study is to analyze if and how Swedish college libraries have incorporated the LRC concept. Is there a Swedish LRC model? Is the LRC concept still interesting or was it a trend that is now out of date? Interviews with eleven people from six college libraries aim to show how they define the concept LRC and how it has been integrated in to their organisations.

At Saab Aerosystems, situated in Linköping Sweden, there is a presentation and manoeuvre simulator simulating the fighter jet JAS-39 Gripen. This flight simulator is called PMSIM. In this thesis we study how to transfer sensor images generated by PMSIM to other simulators or desktop computers. The transmission is band-limited so some kind of image coding must be used. Because of this the greater part of this thesis is concerned with image coding.
