Background: Thanks to the globalization and the EU the international trade is growing faster than ever and companies are able to change ownership across the borders of the nations. Today one can talk about global marketplace with a deeper integration of the economies of the world. The rapidly growing list of Mergers of Swedish companies since the last 10 years indicates that the global companies of today is using Mergers as a strategic tool for continue their growth. However the number of unsuccessful Mergers is big. The need of understanding and knowledge about different cultures is growing in the global business climate of today, since the collaborations across de national borders are increasing.Problem formulation: Which international strategies are fortunate in international Mergers with Swedish companies?Purpose: The purpose is to analyze the integration of the three Mergers; Vin&Sprit ? Pernod Ricard, Astra - Zeneca and Telia ? Sonera.Method: This study is a case study with a qualitative approach.

The purpose of this master thesis is to describe and analyse the development of the library history in the municipality of Karlsborg. This is done with a comparison to the library development in Sweden as a whole and in particular to the cities of Lidköping and Halmstad. I have worked according to the following questions: 1. How did the libraries develop before the municipality took over? 2.

Freedom of establishment statutes that restriction of citizens within the EU can not occur. A citizen should be free to establish themselves in a Member State and not be hindered if they choose to leave the State. "Citizens" also includes legal persons such as companies. Legislations in Member States which prevents the freedom of establishment shall be prohibited. When a company chooses to merge across borders and thus cease to be a Swedish company, the Swedish rules for exit taxation applies.

Due Diligence is today an important part of the transaction process through sales of properties and isan important process for both sellers and buyers. The process intends to review an asset before atransaction to minimize the risks associated with the acquisition by detecting weaknesses and verifythe asset's characteristics. The use of Due Diligence has become increasingly common over the pasttwenty years in the Swedish real estate market and there is no indication that this trend will decreasebut rather increase. Although there is widespread use of the process both in acquisitions ofcorporations and properties, both in Sweden and in the rest of the world, it is costly for thepurchasers and the concept is far from fully developed.This thesis aims to clarify what the real estate market thinks about the potential development of theprocess itself and the role of the actors. The main question is what opportunities exist to develop theconcept of Due Diligence in real estate transactions.

The study is qualitative in nature, in which a deeper understanding of the subject Mergers and acquisitions wants to be achieved. The study uses an abductive approach and the data used was both from primary and secondary sources.Conclusion:     The result of the study shows that the integration process is influenced by several factors. The most important factors from the acquirer are to have a time schedule, clear communication and a person in charge of the integration process.

Bristande anpassning av strategi och ledarskap har inte gett förklaring till varför företag misslyckas med integrationer. Mänskliga och kulturella aspekter har visat sig vara relevanta att studera för lyckade integrationer.Studiens syfte är att öka förståelsen för institutionella mekanismer vid integration av företagskulturer vid företagsförvärv. Ett delsyfte är att identifiera framgångsfaktorer för en lyckad integration av företagskulturer vid företagsförvärv.

Title: Similarities or differences within the centre-right? A study of the potential for party fusions within in the Swedish centre-rightAuthor: Charlie WeimersAim: The thesis seeks to find the potential for party fusions within the Swedish centre-right by analyzing the ideological similarities and differences between the parties.Method/Material: In the thesis, four dimensions of the parties? ideologies are analyzed: view of man, theory for societal structures, fiscal theory and moral values. The results of the study of the ideologies are then compared. The investigation is done with the party manifestos as starting point and with the analysis of ideas as theoretical tool.Main Results: The comparative analysis, based on the parties? ideological views, shows specific party constellations are more probable than others.

There is an increase of financial integration, which can be seen in recent Mergers of banks, financial institutions etc. in the European Union especially in the Nordic countries. However there are some weaknesses in providing consumers cross border services in the sector of banking, such as cross border bank account transfer of payments. The existing transaction costs do not encourage cross border services. Nevertheless a customer of a global or European bank can anticipate to be treated the same way in all of its branch offices inside the EU countries.

Det har gjorts många undersökningar om denna språkmångfald. Ett resultat av forskningen är boken Wakamono kotoba ni mimi wo sumaseba skriven av Yamaguchi (2007). Där kategoriserar författaren in wakamono kotoba i nio olika delar.

Bakgrund: Hur företag väljer att redovisa sina tillgångar, speciellt immateriella tillgångar, har under de senaste decennierna varit föremål för mycket diskussion med tanke på finanskriserna som varit. Sedan 2005 skall alla börsnoterade koncerner inom EU följa IASBs standardverk IFRS regelverk. Lagändringen betyder bland annat att goodwill inte längre ska skrivas av på den nyttjandeperioden som en kostnad i resultaträkningen men skall istället årligen prövas för nedskrivning, ett så kallat, ?impairment test?.Syfte: Syftet med undersökningen blir att kartlägga Svensk redovisningspraxis av goodwill. Detta för att se om eller hur finanskriserna och lagändringar har påverkat goodwillvärdet hos Svenska koncerner.

En människas identitet i relation till psykisk ohälsa, arbetsliv och den sociala omgivningen innebär en komplex social konstruktion. En konstruktion som präglas av att en människa bildar sin självuppfattning i relation till andra människor i det sociala samspelet, vilket den interaktionistiska teoritraditionen menar. I denna uppsats förhåller jag mig dels till Erwing Goffmans teori om ´Stigma´, dels till Anselm L. Strauss teori om ´Identitet´ med fokus på ´vändpunkter´ och ´statusövergångar´. Den tidigare forskningen visar på att fördomar, stigmatisering och diskriminering i samband med fenomenet psykisk ohälsa är vanligt förekommande.

Jag ville även jämföra vilka olika ledarstilar som existerade i de olika länderna och ta reda på om det påverkat chefernas ledarstil i Sverige. Även massmedians bevakning under integrationsprocessen undersöks för att se deras inställning till sammanslagningen.Metod: I denna uppsats har både sekundär- och primärdata använts. Jag har studerat vad andra skrivit om fusioner, kulturens påverkan och olika ledarstilar men jag har även samlat in egen primärdata genom intervjuer med två personer från Nordea. Farmers Cooperative has in recent years developed from national markets to cross-border, international, collaborations. One example is the Merger between the Swedish dairy company Arla and Danish MD Foods, where the companies collectively are sought to reduce transaction costs and thus improve efficiency. The Swedish market for commodities (fertilizers and pesticides) in agriculture has for many years been dominated by a few large players, with little opportunity for grain associations and local grain companies to offer their customers a varied range of commodities with a competitive pricing.To change this state, a majority of Swedish and Danish grain associations and local grain companies have established a trans-national cooperation. Through the establishment of the organization DLA Agro, they offer their customers a good variety of products with competitive prices. This study investigates thus according to the theory of cooperative models to what extent and how the DLA Agro helps to create benefits for the Swedish member companies.
