The purpose of this examination is to get a view of the attitude towards internet-use within after school centers. By comparing the views of pupils with the teacher?s point of view, one can notice differences that may be due to a lack of knowledge or communication. The questions are: What view does the principal, the staff, and the pupils have on internet-use in after school centers? Does their view differ? If so, how? To be able to respond to these questions, the pupils and the staff have been handed surveys and the principal has been interviewed.

Stavning handlar ej enbart om att stava rätt! Att lära sig stava kan vara en hjälp i en individs läs- och skrivutveckling. Genom att lära sig stava kan det bli lättare att lära sig läsa, samtidigt som läsningen kan bidra till att lära sig stava. Genom att skriva kan en elev lära sig stava bättre samtidigt som goda stavningskunskaper kan skapa en känsla av trygghet och säkerhet i skriftspråket som gör att han/hon vill skriva. Syftet med studien är att ta reda på när, hur och varför lärare arbetar med stavning i de tidiga skolåren och att skapa en överblick över olika synsätt på stavning samt hur dessa kan påverka undervisningen. Studien tar upp stavning ur olika perspektiv, från det teoretiska till det praktiska samt hur elever uppfattar stavning.

Personlighet kan delas upp i fem personlighetsdimensioner som ska täcka in alla typer av människor. Självkänsla kan delas upp i två dimensioner bassjälvkänsla resp prestationsbaserad självkänsla och självmedvetenhet delas in i offentlig respektive privat självmedvetenhet. Syftet med studien var att undersöka om människors personliga egenskaper (öppenhet, utåtriktning, samvetsgrannhet, vänlighet och känsloinstabilitet) har något samband med självkänsla och självmedvetenhet. En kvantitativ undersökning genomfördes med en enkät för att studera eventuella samband mellan personlighet enligt Big Five (öppenhet, utåtriktning, samvetsgrannhet, vänlighet och känsloinstabilitet), självkänsla och självmedvetenhet. Sammanlagt deltog 50 personer varav 25 män (medelålder 39,6 år) och 25 kvinnor (medelålder 40,4 år).

Jag har valt att fördjupa mig i frågan kring om sångrösten hos klassiska sångare påverkas av övervikt, och i så fall hur. Frågan är belyst från tre håll; aspekterna fysiologi, psykologi och historia finns med. Jag har intervjuat Johan Sundberg, professor i Musikakustik samt läst en mängd böcker, artiklar, uppsatser och forskningsrapporter i ämnet. Undersökningen visar att bland annat bukmuskulaturen, tyngdkraften i strupen samt syresättningen av blodet påverkas av övervikt. This Master thesis is about elderly visually impaired and their use of libraries. It poses the question how visually impaired elderly looks upon their local library. Their thoughts and opinions are mainly from two sides. One is what they think about the service that they get. The other is what they think about the information concerning this service.

Vi baserar många av våra val på känslomässiga förutsägelser som är våra antaganden om hur framtida händelser kommer att påverka oss känslomässigt. Våra känslomässiga förutsägelser är dessvärre ofta påverkade av olika bias som gör att vi missbedömer hur starkt och under hur lång tid vi kommer att reagera känslomässigt på kommande händelser, vilket i sin tur påverkar vilka val vi kommer att göra. Den här uppsatsen kommer att undersöka hur våra känslomässiga förutsägelser påverkar vårt subjektiva välbefinnande och även hur förståelse för detta skulle kunna användas i psykologisk coachning i form av interventioner för att hjälpa människor att göra fler val som leder till ett ökat subjektivt välbefinnande..

This essay is about how working with children with autism works with the laws and regulations that fall under the Compulsory School Ordinance and Lgr11 (Compulsory for primary school, preschool classes and kindergarten). The aim of this work was to examine various educators thoughts, experiences and practices related to children with autism in primary school. The study is based on three questions: what kind of rights regarding support do children with autism have in the Swedish primary school, according to the primary regulation and Lgr11? How do the selected primary schools work with the support of children with the diagnosis of autism? And how well does the affected educator?s think that the support works?To answer these questions, four qualitative interviews with various educators, were made. My results show that all four educators believe that inclusive labor of children with autism is a good thing for everyone, as long as it is done properly and with the right order, so that the child with autism gets the opportunity to be part of a social group.

Psykisk ohälsa är ett stort folkhälsoproblem världen över och problemen förväntas öka. Sjuksköterskans attityd och bemötande spelar viktig roll för patientens välmående och kan även påverka fördröjning av diagnos och behandling. Syftet var är att belysa sjuksköterskans attityd och bemötande av personer med psykisk ohälsa inom somatiken. Metoden var en litteratur studie där åtta artiklar av kvalitativ och kvantitativ design användes som underlag. Artiklarna hittades i databaserna PubMed, CINAHL och PsycINFO.

This paper aims to examine how and to what extent, a transition of Sweden according to the principles of Omställning Sverige (Transition towns Sweden), have the potential to contribute to a society with increased happiness.The paper is based on a qualitative textual analysis of the key texts in the Swedish Transition towns movement, Omställning Sverige. In the first part of the study the most important transition principles of Omställning Sverige were identified. Four key principles emerged: An altered view of economics, a spiritual change, a stronger local community and increased awareness. These transition principles were then analyzed through the lens of the scientific fields position on happiness, followed by a summarizing conclusion.The altered view of economics which Omställning Sverige advocates, where sustainability and quality of life are priorities over economic growth, is even necessary to secure our basic physiological needs. Such an economy has also improved conditions for economic stability, high employment and higher efficiency in the sense of happiness promoted in relationship to how many natural resources are used.

The purpose of this study is to investigate how two elementary schools work with Swedish and Swedish as a second language through four teachers thoughts and perceptions. My issues are: How do the teachers perceive the Swedish classes in the school, and how do they perceive that they are conducting it? Which examples of material for teaching do the teachers show me and how do they use it in each school? Do the work with Swedish and Swedish as a second language in the multi-ethnic school and the more mono-ethnic school differ according to how the teachers perceive they are conducting it? Do the teachers think that the equivalent education that is part of the curriculums values and mission always is maintained and why/why not? My study is performed from a sociocultural perspective. My conclusions are that the teachers from the multi-ethnic school are more aware of how to work with Swedish or Swedish as a second language regardless of the students ethnic or national origins. Some aspects of how the teachers work with Swedish are equal with each others, but there are differences to.

The aim of this study was to find out how journalism students at two universities in Sweden, Gothenburg University and Linnaeus University in Kalmar, use the social networking service Twitter. We were primarily interested in whether the students are using Twitter as a journalistic tool, which includes gathering, production and distribution of material. The study focused on journalism students because they soon will enter the working life and therefore can provide an indication of whether Twitter is a part of the future of journalism. We have used theories of mass communication to describe the development in the area and explore how journalism has adapted to this change. The study was conducted in the form of a survey in which the students answered questions about how they use Twitter and what they think about the social networking service.

Barn som lider av depression är ovanligt men i tonåren ökar sjukdomen markant. Primärvården blir ofta den första vårdkontakten. Vårdpersonal inom primärvården känner inte alltid till symtomen för depression hos ungdomar. Om tonåringar inte får hjälp med sin depression kan det leda till sämre livskvalitet och försämrad prestation i skolan. Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur primärvården kan identifiera depression hos ungdomar.
