The object with this bachelor thesis is to illustrate if equality is present during the interaction between female and male players in the World of Warcraft with focus on the female players conception. The main question is: How does gender matter in the interaction between female and male players in WoW? This question is particularly interesting because WoW is in its own construction neutral in regards to gender in the aspect that gender does not hinder or benefit your avatar when it comes to the avatars development or possibilities. A qualitative research method was used, and the respondents thoughts about where and how to live were gathered through interviews. The investigation is based on the theoretical concept of normality, identity and quality of life since these aspects are important components of the individual's positive experiences of their homelife. People with disabilities has rights goverened by law, but in this thesis the individuals subjective experiences, feelings and wishes are described. Syftet med denna studie är att utifrån sociokulturellt perspektiv, utforska hur tre musikpedagoger beskriver att de använder sig av mentala träningsmetoder i sin undervisning. Vilka mentala träningsmetoder beskriver tre musikpedagoger att de använder sig av i sin undervisning? På vilka sätt beskrivs dessa metoder komma till användning?Studiens data har samlats in genom kvalitativa intervjuer med tre yrkesverksamma musikpedagoger som använder sig av mental träning på varierade sätt i sin pedagogiska verksamhet. I resultatet framkommer att ju mer utbildning i mental träning musikpedagogerna har, desto tydligare och mer uttalad strategi beskriver de. De beskrivna strategierna betraktas som generaliserbara lärandehjälpmedel som utgår från en grundidé.

Syfte och frågeställningarSyftet med studien är att undersöka förekomst, hantering och upplevda orsaker till mentala blockeringar inom kvinnlig truppgymnastik på nationell ungdoms- och juniornivå.? Vilken typ av övning är den vanligaste mentala blockeringen inom kvinnlig truppgymnastik?? Hur visar sig blockeringarna enligt gymnasterna och tränarna?? Vilka orsaker till uppkomsten av mentala blockeringar kan utläsas utifrån gymnasterna och tränarnas berättelser?? På vilka sätt har gymnaster och tränare försökt hantera mentala blockeringar?MetodStudien inleddes med en litteratursökning för att finna tidigare forskning. Därefter utformades en enkät i två versioner (för tränare och gymnaster) och dessa delades ut till gymnaster och tränare på nationell ungdoms- och juniornivå i sex olika föreningar. Gymnasterna valdes efter tränings- och tävlingsnivå och har en medelålder på 14 år.ResultatResultatet visade att mentala blockeringar är ett mycket vanligt fenomen inom truppgymnastiken och något som majoriteten av gymnasterna någon gång drabbats av. Blockeringarna visar sig ofta genom att gymnasten vägrar eller helt utesluter övningen ur sin träning och blockeringarna är vanligast i grenen tumbling.

This study aims to highlight and analyze eight secondary teachers' views and thoughts on mathematics. Hopefully this study will provide a deeper understanding of how teachers think and reason about their subject and how this affects their teaching. The study was conducted using a qualitative interview method, based on interviews with eight middle school teachers who teach in school mathematics for grades 6 - 9. The interviews were recorded and then transcribed and analyzed. After the interview analysis one can conclude that the teachers? thoughts concern three main themes: the importance of mathematics, children?s lack of basic knowledge and the teachers? lack of time.In discussion and analysis the teachers conceptions of the own subject is being analyzed, and that is the foundation of this study.

This essay is a comparison according to the ideological thoughts about womens position in the society of Mao Zedong och Josef Stalin. The material I have analysed is writings by Mao and Stalin, in a wide range from leaflets to orders to the armies of the states of China and the Soviet Union. The method I have used is an ideological analysis where the attitude towards women is the target for my survey. The attitude towards women generally was not unified in the world during the time for Mao and Stalin. In many countries the women was intended to take care of the children and the home, not be active in working and fighting.

The aim of the study was to examine how background factors, such as abuse earlier in life, affect depression and suicidal behavior, amongst persons who abuse alcohol or illicit drugs. The study was performed at the Social Service Center, Södermalm, department for adults. The data used in the study is based on Addiction Severity Index interviews (ASI) and includes 560 observations. The statistic methods used to analyse the data is chi² test and the result is presented in cross tables and charts. The main findings were that experiences of psychological, physical, or sexual abuse, earlier in life increase the risk for major depression and suicidal behavior later in life.

This is a Minor Field Study (MFS) which is a scholarship financed by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida). The study was held in 2007 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia and is based upon retrospective qualitative interviews with five Bachelor nurses who experienced the disaster work during the earthquake 27th of May, 2006. The aim of the study is to explore the experiences, feelings and thoughts of Bachelor nurses who were involved in this natural disaster. The interview, transcription and analyse work were made one year after the earthquake were a qualitative content analysis method was used. Two group interviews were held at the University of Gadjah Mada.

The thoughts of a common school for all children have been around since the 1800?s but was something that was introduced in Sweden first in 1962. When the curriculum for primary school came in 1980 there was a new concept, a school for all. With a school for all it was aimed that all children should have the right to participation and a common education no matter what needs they could have.During my education I have come across the concept a school for all and that is something that interested me. Today?s curricula and school laws aim to ensure that all children have the right to equal education and inclusion whatever needs you have.The purpose of this study is to find out some pedagogues? thoughts and work around the concept a school for all.

My work is based on a text analysis of media production of the female offender. I found it interesting how women were presented as victims rather than perpetrators. The media have in recent years grown tremendously and this also impacts on people and what is important. The notion of how a woman should be and how a female offender should be is extreme. The material for my work is articles found on the Internet in daily newspapers websites.
