Fetma och psykisk ohälsa är två utbredda folkhälsoproblem som förutom att orsaka stor samsjuklighet, även ger stora ekonomiska förluster för samhällena. Den här systematiska litteraturstudien gjordes i syftet att undersöka eventuell förekomst av sambandet mellan fetma och psykisk ohälsa. I denna studie avses psykisk ohälsa som ångest, låg sinnesstämning och depression. Pub Med och Lib Hub användes för datainsamling. Vid urval av artiklarna var en av de huvudsakliga etiska principerna att artiklarna måste blivit granskade.

Syftet med studien var att explorativt undersöka vilken betydelse hästen har för brittiska soldater och veteraner som varit ute i krig och återvänt med någon form av ohälsa. Studiens frågeställningar var: Hur används hästen på Horseback UK  som en del i tillfrisknandet för brittiska soldater och veteraner som varit ute i krig? Hur beskriver brittiska soldater och veteraner som varit ute i krig hästens betydelse för livskvalitén? För att besvara frågeställningarna tillämpades en metod som bestod av kvalitativa intervjuer. Intervjuerna utfördes på Horseback UK i Skottland som är en välgörenhetsorganisation, skapad för att ge en trygg och säker miljö. De arbetar med hjälp av hästar för att hjälpa de som tjänstgör eller tjänstgjort i den brittiska armén och kommit tillbaka med någon form fysisk eller psykisk ohälsa.

The equality principle, enshrined in the Swedish Constitution, states that everyone is equal before the law. However, previous research indicates that judgements are influenced by conceptions of gender and sex. The purpose of this study is to examine how women and men are portrayed in judgements regarding assault crimes. This study will be conducted through the lens of social constructivism, gender theories by Judith Butler and Yvonne Hirdman and the theory of ideal victims and perpetrators. This study is a document analysis based on 28 assault judgements, involving 14 female and 14 men defendants decided by the district court in 2024.

In this multistudy the aim was to measure the effect of mindfulness and yoga in negative stress. Is it possible for yoga and mindfulness to increase awareness and acceptance to inner and outher circumstances? Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) has shown good results in how to cope with negative stress and how to stay calm in a stressful envirorment. The qualitative study where Visby Yoga Center and Stockholm Yoga Shakti attended in a survey. Correlation showed no relationship between stress and mindfulness and no significant value, n=20, Cohens d=0,16.

Vänskap har mycket stor betydelse i människors liv, men är än så länge ett outforskat ämne. Vänskapsrelationer utgör ett socialt stöd som är viktigt för psykiskt välmående och mental hälsa. Syftet med föreliggande studie var att öka förståelsen för hur ?bästisrelationen? mellan två unga vuxna kvinnliga bästa vänner kan gestalta sig. Huvudfrågeställningen var; vilka centrala teman karaktäriserar relationen? En explorativ ansats tillämpades och kvinnornas egna upplevelser av relationen stod i fokus.

The aim of the study was to describe parents' experiences of empty nest. The sample consisted of individuals who had experienced one child moving out of the parental home. Data were collected through qualitative semi-structured interviews and were analyzed by using thematic analysis. The thematic analysis revealed four themes, Concerns about the new time in life, Changing roles, Socializing in the family and Testing the relations. Due to the themes participants' stories reveal anxiety facing the time that will come when children takes the step to leave the nest.

Känslor i föreliggande studie definieras som känslor efter en tävlingsprestation. Syftet var att undersöka individuella landslagsspelares känslor efter bästa och sämsta tävlingsprestation. Syftet var även att undersöka om landslagsspelarna beskriver olika känslor beroende på deras nivå av självkänsla och typ av perfektionismmönster.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find out how a number ofhospital librarians look at child and youth patients' reading and itspossible role in a mental and physical healing process. We alsoinvestigate the knowledge, strategies and thoughts the librarianshave on bibliotherapy.Qualitative interviews have been used and seven librarians, at twodifferent hospital libraries with children's and youth activities, wereinterviewed during November and December 2011. The analysis isbased on one theory; we use Sten Furhammar?s model whichincludes four different categories of reading.We can see, according to the librarians? answers, that the mostcommon function of the patients? reading can be explained throughtwo of Furhammar?s categories. Our respondents believe that thepatients mostly read to relax from heavy thoughts and situationswhich can be connected to the category impersonal experiencereading.

The aim of this thesis was to study financial support within the Church of Sweden and the view of the church?s diaconal work. This was done with a quantitative method where a survey sent to a number of churches containing questions about financial support within the church and how they, the respondents, looked at the church?s role as a welfare agent. Of the almost 200 congregations only 23 congregations responded.

Schimpanser hålls i fångenskap av många anledningar. I många fall är deras miljö för undermålig för att tillfredsställa ens deras mest basala behov. Som respons på detta utvecklar de ofta ett stört beteende som yttrar sig i stereotypier och annat psykologiskt onormalt beteende. Schimpanserna påverkas främst av brister i den sociala kontakten och allra mest av en störd relation till modern. Andra viktiga faktorer är brist på mental och fysisk stimulans.

Bakgrund: Fysiskt trauma är ett av de största hälsoproblemen i världen. Fysiska skador står för 16 % av den globala sjukdomsbördan. Med nya träningsprogram och arbetssätt har kvalitén på vården förbättrats men vanligen följer en psykisk reaktion på traumat som kan kvarstå under lång tid. Syfte: Syftet var att belysa vuxna personers psykiska hälsa efter ett fysiskt trauma. Metod: Uppsatsen är en litteraturöversikt som baseras på 13 vetenskapliga artiklar.
