The historical aspect is given by a study of bibliographic data in different catalogues of a specific collection. The aim is also to understand what specific problems will arise in the work of cataloguing music materials and how the problems are discussed in the literature. The study is focusing of church music material and the history of churchmusic is therefore given an exposition. The origin of musical notation, which took place within the church, is also discussed.

Syftet med denna litteraturstudie är att identifiera och beskriva skyddsfaktorernas effekt för psykisk ohälsa. Teorin om skyddsfaktorer till psykisk ohälsa enligt Cullberg, 2003 användes som teoretisk referensram. Metoden var en litteraturstudie där tio granskade artiklar delades in i teman utifrån teorin om skyddsfaktorer för psykisk ohälsa enligt Cullberg, 2003. Dessa teman var social nätverk, arbete/sysselsättning och sammanhang/mening. Resultatet visade att dessa tre skyddsfaktorer utgår från fundamentala behov hos människan, om dessa inte är uppfyllda löper människan större risk att drabbas av psykisk ohälsa.

Environmental issues is now taking a growing place in society and to ensure that companies meet public expectations and do their part in working towards a sustainable development, environmental management system is said to be an effective tool (Almgren & Brorson, 2009).This case study has examined a company's environmental management system in order to find strengths and weaknesses within the ISO 14001 system. The work was carried out using interviews, document reviews and analyzes in which the three main concepts control the report ; "daily work", "audit" and "environmental aspects".The results shows that the daily work looks different depending on where you are; in the production or at the office. The audit examined all documents related to the environmental management system and the study showed that the biggest strengths was the commitment and waste handling while areas such as environmental goals and management review needed improvement. As a result of the deficiencies identified, suggestions for improvements was proposed. The investigation of the routine of the environmental aspects showed an incomplete routine where the red wire from identification to evaluation was missing.

This thesis evaluates the environmental performance of six different fish farming systems. The thesis is part of the network group ?Hållbar fiskförsörjning I Stockholms län? (HFFS) which tries to increase the domestic and regional production of fish in Stockholm and move to a more sustainable supply in the Stockholm county. Two of the chosen systems; pangasius from Vietnam and salmon from Norway are delivering a substantial part of the fish consumed in Stockholm today, although they are very different when it comes to system characteristics. One system, arctic char with conventional feed, is produced in a fairly small scale in the north of Sweden, while the three remaining systems are viewed upon as possible options to supply Stockholm with fish in the future.

Att använda sig av fler metoder än enkäter och skriftliga frågor vid medborgarundersökningar om utemiljön ger möjlighet för fler grupper i samhället att delta på sina egna villkor. En varierad medborgardialog är särskilt viktig i diversifierade bostadsområden. Att få vara delaktig i sin boendemiljö har betydelse för individens platsanknytning, för engagemang och ansvarskänsla i bostadsområdet. Delaktighet och medbestämmande har visat sig vara särskilt betydelsefullt för boende med utländsk bakgrund. Grunden till boendemedverkan är en gemensam förtroendegrund.

Detta arbete har som syfte att åskådliggöra högstadieelevers mentala kartor och dess kunskaper om storleksrelationer på världskartan. Som uppföljning av detta är ett ytterligare syfte att presentera tillvägagångssätt för att kunna arbeta med den mentala kartan för att få denna att i en högre grad överensstämma med verkligheten.                             Som bakgrund till elevernas mentala kartor presenteras hur olika länder representeras i media och vilket utrymme dessa får, samt att läroböcker i geografi från fyra olika förlag analyseras rörande deras presentation av världskartan.                             För att kartlägga elevernas kunskaper om storleksrelationer på världskartan har en enkätundersökning gjorts med 137 högstadieelever i en svensk grundskola. Resultatet av enkätundersökningen presenteras, analyseras och sätts i relation till tidigare forskning. Utifrån resultatet av enkätundersökningen och analysen av tidigare undersökningar görs ett försök att presentera arbetsmoment och strategier för att motarbeta de avvikelser som uppmärksammats mellan elevernas mentala kartor och den faktiska jordgloben. .

This report was performed in order to evaluate a new technological measure and focuses generally on a heat pump system to a HWC-washing machine. The client is Asko Appliances AB, a company well known for its environmentally friendly products. The goal of this study was to improve the energy efficiency of a washing machine by combining a heat pump device to the heater of the wash water, in order to reduce the energy consumed for heating the water. Besides reducing the energy consumption in heating the water, the washing machine was required to meet low noise and short operating time specifications. For that purpose, nine trials in three test series have been carried out.

Stress during and after transportation can negatively affect the meat quality or cause carcass damages, which leads to major economic losses every year. The transportation chain can be divided into several stages; loading, transport and unloading. This literature review focuses on unloading of pigs from a transport. When arriving at an abattoir pigs can be fatigued and need to be as smoothly unloaded as possible.

AbstractDetta är en explorativ studie om processer bakom beslutsfattande. Studien innefattade 52 studenter, 20 män och 32 kvinnor. De fick genom ett frågeformulär svara på frågor kring det viktigaste beslut de fattat i verkliga livet. De flesta angav att det viktigaste beslut de fattat handlade om flytt- och resebeslut (29 %) eller studie- och karriärbeslut (44 %). Delar av frågeformulären kodades sedan utifrån kategorier från en tidigare publicerad studie kring centrala beslutsteorier och tre nya kategorier framkom; self-efficacy, self-actualization och what others will think.

Den palliativa vården innefattar inte bara patienten utan i många fall också de anhöriga. Syftet med studien var att undersöka anhörigas informationsbehov inom den palliativa vården. För att besvara syftet gjordes en litteraturstudie där vetenskapliga artiklar användes. Genom databas- och manuellsökning valdes elva kvalitativa och kvantitativa artiklar ut. En innehållsanalys av artiklarna gjordes utifrån en kvalitativ ansats.

Purpose: During the last years Real Options have been established in many areas of the day-to-day business. Recent literature also tries to address Supply Chain problems with option theory, since an efficient Supply Chain increasingly gains in importance as a significant competitive advantage. This thesis tries to answer the question, if Real Options can mitigate the costs induced by the Bullwhip Effect as one of the major problems in Supply Chains. Methodology: The authors of the thesis used a deductive approach. Based on a theoretical model utilizing Real Option contracts and under the usage of a randomly created dataset the influence of the Bullwhip Effect on the company?s business and financial structure is examined and subsequently analyzed.

The family and relatives caring of older people in Sweden lies on an old tradition. By legislation the responsibility for the older people has gone through a development from the family to the society. According to the new social service law (2000) it is not that clear that the utmost responsibility lies on the society. According to the social service law ( 5th chapter, 10 §) the municipality should ease things up by giving support and relief for relatives taking care of older people, prolonged ill and function disabled people. The purpose with the study was to examine how the family care givers are finding their everyday work and their experience of the support that the society is giving.

In the nurse's profession ulcer care is a common nursing intervention. Being inserted in methods of treatment and updated with evidence-based knowledge is therefore an important part of the nurse's work. Chronic ulcers are expensive for health care and occupy a lot of time. Knowledge is therefore important for ulcer healing, for the patient comfort and to reduce costs. The aim of the study was to illustrate the nurse's knowledge of nursing interventions of chronic ulcer.

I den olfaktoriska litteraturen finns olika åsikter om huruvida människor kan bibehålla en mental representation av en doft. I denna studie undersöktes hur bra vi är på att föreställa oss dofter jämfört med bilder av personer, med hypotesen att denna förmåga är sämre för dofter än för bilder. Deltagarna försökte namnge 40 personer (bilder) och 40 lukter, där den ena gruppen endast exponerades för stimuli i 4 sekunder (singelsamplingsgruppen), den andra fick obegränsad tillgång under hela namngivningsförsöket (multisamplingsgruppen). Grundantagandet är att om deltagarna kan föreställa sig ett objekt för sitt inre så är de inte så beroende av återexponering. Resultatet visade inte på någon signifikant interaktion mellan grupp och modalitet, men nominellt går resultatet i hypotesens riktning.
