Kan kulturaktiviteter vilka erbjuds genom arbetet, resultera i ett ökat välmående för den anställde och eventuellt även en ökad känsla av sammanhang? Detta är utgångspunkten för uppsatsen, som tar sin början i Antonovskys salutogena perspektiv och KASAM, vilket mäts kvantitativt på två grupper där Grupp 1 utgjordes av anställda på arbetsplatser där kulturaktiviteter regelbundet erbjöds och Grupp 2 av anställda på en arbetsplats utan kulturaktiviteter. Genom deltagarnas resultat på KASAM formuläret, utlästes att kulturaktiviteter och ett deltagande i dessa visar ett samband med en ökad KASAM hos individen. Today many companies are using advertising agencies in marketing. That makes the advertising agencies responsible for delivering their clients messages and values to the final customer. Therefore it is very important that communication between an advertising agency and their client works in a way that they have similar marketing goals, despite all the factors that may distract this communication.The object of this essay is to study communication between advertising agencies and their clients, especially when it comes to setting up goals and that way highlight the problems that may occur and to make both the advertising agencies and their clients understand the importance of successful communication.We have done our research by interviewing representatives from advertising agencies and clients to advertising agencies. The interviews have given us some understanding on the subject which we have based our theories on, so we have used an inductive and hermeneutic approach to the subject.By modifying the theories we chose from the beginning and adapting them to the results of our research we have tried to show the advertising agencies and their clients the importance of effective and reliable communication between them. We also want to highlight the problems that may occur in the communication and give advice that hopefully can be used to improve the communication.The communication seems to work well and so does, according to our interviewees the co-operation overall.

The purpose of this Master?s thesis is to perform a user oriented evaluation of the International Library?s website. The questions posed in this study are; for what purpose do the users in this study turn to the International Library?s website; what does the users information searching process consist of when visiting the site; how does navigation, layout and content effect the users satisfaction with the website; do the users in this study consider that the International Library?s website can be improved and if so, how? The study was performed with a user oriented approach where six qualitative interviews with librarians who use the website were conducted. These interviews were analysed using Brenda Dervin?s Sense making-theory and Leclercq?s theory about user satisfaction.

Syftet med följande studie är att undersöka huruvida universitetsstudenter finner fenomenet konkurrens stressande och isåfall hur detta manifesteras i olika konkurrenspräglade situationer. För att ta reda på detta intervjuades 9 universitets-studenter någonstans i Sverige där de fick besvara 13 frågor om hur de upplevde konkurrens i sin essens, i utbildningen samt i arbetslivet. Det visade sig att studenterna ansåg sig kunna uppleva en viss form och nivå av stress i samtliga konkurrenskategorier, men stressen var som mest framträdande då det gäller att behöva tävla med sina medmänniskor, framförallt i arbetssökarprocessen. Det kan i och med följande studie bekräftas att konkurrens har en betydande, och oftast negativ, inverkan på studenters mentala hälsa då man uppgav att man i konkurrenspräglade situationer kunde uppleva nervositet, oro, frustration och/ eller självförakt..

The purpose of this essay was to look at how the Swedish Prison and Probation Service and the Social Service work with children who have parents in prison and what they can do to ease the contact between the children and their parents. In our study we have used different questions regarding parent role, gender, child perspective, contact possibilities and collaboration. We have interviewed six prison officers and five social workers in Skåne. We have also used previously written reports. Our conclusions are that the parent role is affected by imprisonment and more amongst the women than the men.

Uppsatsen behandlar ämnet unga högpresterande flickor som mår psykiskt dåligt. Syftet med undersökningen var att ta reda på hur skolan kan upplevas för någon som är drabbad av detta samt att få konkreta exempel på hur arbetet kan se ut på en gymnasieskola gällande detta problem.Metoden som användes var kvalitativa intervjuer och litteraturstudie. Fem intervjuer och litteratur som behandlar ämnen som självmord, depression, ångest samt ätstörningar har varit grundläggande för undersökningen. This paper aims to examine how and to what extent, a transition of Sweden according to the principles of Omställning Sverige (Transition towns Sweden), have the potential to contribute to a society with increased happiness.The paper is based on a qualitative textual analysis of the key texts in the Swedish Transition towns movement, Omställning Sverige. In the first part of the study the most important transition principles of Omställning Sverige were identified. Four key principles emerged: An altered view of economics, a spiritual change, a stronger local community and increased awareness. These transition principles were then analyzed through the lens of the scientific fields position on happiness, followed by a summarizing conclusion.The altered view of economics which Omställning Sverige advocates, where sustainability and quality of life are priorities over economic growth, is even necessary to secure our basic physiological needs. Such an economy has also improved conditions for economic stability, high employment and higher efficiency in the sense of happiness promoted in relationship to how many natural resources are used.

Benchmarking is an established method of working which is often used in order to develop the quality of the organization. However, almost 70% of the organizations with benchmarking fail due to the lack of planning and structuring of the benchmarking exercise. Maintenance sections in the paper and pulp industry are one of those who have decided to conduct benchmarking. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to gain knowledge of how the maintenance sections in the paper and pulp industry deliberately structure and plan to use benchmarking as a driving force for quality development in the maintenance sections.The study is a hermeneutic case study. Telephone interviews and document analysis have been used as data acquisition methods.The results show that there is a lack of both planning and structuring in the benchmarking process, and lack of management commitment for quality improvements within industrial maintenance.

Background: To wait on an emergency department is a reflected and well-documented problem. Thou it´s mainly due to a patient perspective should also nurses' perspectives be significant to obtain a faceted perception of the phenomenon.Aim: The purpose of this study was to describe how nurses perceive the phenomenon of anticipation of a somatic emergency department.Method: The analysis was performed using a phenomenological approach. The study was conducted in a medium-sized hospital in southern Sweden, during the latter part of 2005, and had a qualitative approach based on a lifeworld perspective. Data collection consisted of written stories from twelve nurses.Results: The results indicated that the waiting was the scene of the expectations. These expectations led to dilemmas, powerlessness and frustration, the more the phenomenon was allowed to stand.

Studiens syfte var att undersöka kriminalvårdens centrala riktlinjer för psykisk ohälsa bland anstaltsklienter och om dessa riktlinjer realiseras i praktiskt arbete på två olika avdelningar: normalavdelning och behandlingsavdelning på en anstalt av högsta säkerhetsklass i Sverige. Data samlades in genom intervjuer med åtta kriminalvårdare och en psykolog. Resultatet visade att psykisk ohälsa ur ett personalperspektiv är vanligt förekommande, främst ADHD, depression, ångest och sömnsvårigheter. Majoriteten av respondenterna visste inte om vilka riktlinjer som finns vid behandling av klienters psykiska ohälsa.
