AbstractThis report has been developed in cooperation with Peab Region Bostad Göteborg, mentor at Krook& TjÀder (through Chalmers), and examiner at Chalmers University of Technology. The report is the result of a research of a building project, constructed by Peab. The report is investigating and it means to identify and evaluate qualities in the dwelling and its surroundings. Its purpose is to evaluate how the residents in a chosen housing cooperative enjoy living there. It shall, with help of chosen quality aspects, identify what expectations the residents had before moving in, how they experience the dwelling and its surroundings today, and what hopes they have for the future planning of the area.

AbstractDetta Àr en explorativ studie om processer bakom beslutsfattande. Studien innefattade 52 studenter, 20 mÀn och 32 kvinnor. De fick genom ett frÄgeformulÀr svara pÄ frÄgor kring det viktigaste beslut de fattat i verkliga livet. De flesta angav att det viktigaste beslut de fattat handlade om flytt- och resebeslut (29 %) eller studie- och karriÀrbeslut (44 %). Delar av frÄgeformulÀren kodades sedan utifrÄn kategorier frÄn en tidigare publicerad studie kring centrala beslutsteorier och tre nya kategorier framkom; self-efficacy, self-actualization och what others will think.

Background: Children are different and they live under different conditions, but one they have in common - the desire to play. Children's play is important for their health and wellbeing. The aim: was to highlight the knowledge and issues that preschool children's parents have about young children's health and wellbeing, with a focus on physical activity and play, to promote health. A further aim was to highlight the obstacles and opportunities that parents experience regarding physical activity for young children. Material and Methods: The main study two focus group interviews were used with eight parents of children of preschool age.

Den palliativa vÄrden innefattar inte bara patienten utan i mÄnga fall ocksÄ de anhöriga. Syftet med studien var att undersöka anhörigas informationsbehov inom den palliativa vÄrden. För att besvara syftet gjordes en litteraturstudie dÀr vetenskapliga artiklar anvÀndes. Genom databas- och manuellsökning valdes elva kvalitativa och kvantitativa artiklar ut. En innehÄllsanalys av artiklarna gjordes utifrÄn en kvalitativ ansats.

The family and relatives caring of older people in Sweden lies on an old tradition. By legislation the responsibility for the older people has gone through a development from the family to the society. According to the new social service law (2000) it is not that clear that the utmost responsibility lies on the society. According to the social service law ( 5th chapter, 10 §) the municipality should ease things up by giving support and relief for relatives taking care of older people, prolonged ill and function disabled people. The purpose with the study was to examine how the family care givers are finding their everyday work and their experience of the support that the society is giving.

I den olfaktoriska litteraturen finns olika Äsikter om huruvida mÀnniskor kan bibehÄlla en mental representation av en doft. I denna studie undersöktes hur bra vi Àr pÄ att förestÀlla oss dofter jÀmfört med bilder av personer, med hypotesen att denna förmÄga Àr sÀmre för dofter Àn för bilder. Deltagarna försökte namnge 40 personer (bilder) och 40 lukter, dÀr den ena gruppen endast exponerades för stimuli i 4 sekunder (singelsamplingsgruppen), den andra fick obegrÀnsad tillgÄng under hela namngivningsförsöket (multisamplingsgruppen). Grundantagandet Àr att om deltagarna kan förestÀlla sig ett objekt för sitt inre sÄ Àr de inte sÄ beroende av Äterexponering. Resultatet visade inte pÄ nÄgon signifikant interaktion mellan grupp och modalitet, men nominellt gÄr resultatet i hypotesens riktning.

The expectations of a successful outcome are great during childbirth. The overall objective of prenatal care and birth care is that midwives contribute in creating the most positive experience of pregnancy, child birth and infancy as possible. During the past 30 years there has been a significant increase in sectiofrequency both in Sweden and the rest of the Western world. More parents feel an overall insecurity when it comes to child labour. The purpose of this study was to describe how midwives experience the work of creating a sense of security and good nursing when meeting the expectant parents.

The purpose of this essay is to examine and compare the news covering of Swedens three biggest cities (the metropolitan areas) and their surrounding areas with the covering of the rest of the country (the provincial areas) in two daily national newspapers, Aftonbladet and Dagens Nyheter. The aim has been to answer the following questions:- What amount of the news coverage in Aftonbladet and Dagens Nyheter concern the metropolitan areas compared to the provincial areas, and how do these two newspapers differ in the news covering of these areas?- Is there a difference in the news articles size and content, depending on weather they concern the metropolitan or the provincial areas?- How has the balance between news concerning metropolitan and provincial areas changed over the recent 20 years?The theories used in this study are News values, the media commercialization and Popular Journalism, and The Agenda Setting Theory. The method that has been used is a Quantitative Content Analysis.Despite the essays hypothesis, that the news coverage in the two newspapers would be dominated by material from the metropolitan areas, the result showed that a majority of the examined articles concern the provincial areas. It also showed that Aftonbladet has a bigger percentage of provincial news than Dagens Nyheter.

FörstÄelsen för andra mÀnniskor som krÀvs för lyckade interaktioner, förklaras i attributionsteorierna "Theory of Mind" och "Simulation Theory. Ett vanligt men ouppklarat fenomen Àr det fundamentala attributionsfelet, dÀr beteende felaktigt attribueras till inre generella egenskaper. Fenomenet reflekterar en abstrakt mental konstruktion i enlighet med Construal Level Theorys antagande om hur psykologisk distans inverkar pÄ perception. I en modifierad Attitude Attribution Paradigm modell undersöks om spatial distans pÄverkar det fundamentala attributionsfelet och om skillnader föreligger mellan kvinnor och mÀn. Kort/lÄng spatial distans primades genom en kontroversiell text, via information om dess kompositionsplats, som fungerade som underlag för bedömning av skribentens Äsikt.

M?let var att unders?ka om det fanns signifikanta skillnader i konsumtionsvanor mellan tre olika kosth?llningar, vegan, vegetarian och all?tare, samt mellan faktorer som ?ldersgrupp, k?n, utbildningsgrad och boendeform. Metod: F?r att samla in empiri anv?ndes en enk?tunders?kning som distribuerades utifr?n ett bekv?mlighetsurval via sociala medieplattformar. Chi-tv? tester anv?ndes f?r att s?kerst?lla signifikanta skillnader i respondenternas svar (n=193). Resultat: P? grund av f? svar fr?n respondenter med vegansk och vegetarisk kosth?llning skapades ett bortfall.

In tune with the cross-border trade the infringement of intellectual property rights has become a growing problem in Europe and the rest of the world. In June 2008 negotiations about a new international agreement was initiated between Europe, its member states and ten other countries, which will restrict infringements of intellectual property rights. The agreement is called ACTA, which stands for Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement. On January 26, 2012 the European Union (EU) and twenty-two of its twenty-seven member states signed a letter of intent to the agreement and the EU?s internal processes of the agreement began.

I wrote this essay with the aim to explore, understand and get some insights into what it is that effects the possibilities to plan for ecological sustainability and make it happen. There is no clear definition of sustainable development but world top meetings and reports have developed goals and strategies. I will present some of the theory at hand but most of this essay is based on six interviews with planners at local governments from around the country. Several of the local governments are using the goals issued by the state government by putting them into their large scale plans. During the interviews some obstacles were identified, like a lack of resourses, disadvantaging powerstruktures, conflicts with marketeconomy and simply different meenings about what ecological sustainability is in practice. My method of getting information through interviews and documenting them by taking notes had, as all methods, it?s weakneses.

A qualitative content analysis of the depiction of women?s MMA in media is a study which focuses on how women?s MMA and Ronda Rousey as an individual athlete are portrayed in american internet based MMA media, with a gender research perspective. This study also investigates how the introduction of the first women?s division in the UFC might have affected the depiction women?s MMA in media.The theoretical framework consists of gender theory concepts such as gender performativity, the man as norm, sports and masculinity.
