Upplevelse av ledarskap, arbetstillfredsställelse och mental hälsa bland manliga och kvinnliga kyrkoherdar

Syftet med studien var att undersöka huruvida det finns ett samband mellan upplevt ledarskap, arbetstillfredsställelse och mental hälsa bland kyrkoherdar i Lunds stift. Ytterligare ett syfte med studien var att undersöka huruvida manliga och kvinnliga kyrkoherdar skiljer sig signifikant vad gäller upplevt ledarskap, arbetstillfredsställelse och mental hälsa. 41 kyrkoherdar från Lunds stift besvarade en enkät. Svarsfrekvensen var 82%. Upplevt ledarskap, arbetstillfredsställelse och mental hälsa mättes med hjälp av COPSOQ (Kristensen, 2001).

AbstractThe purpose of this essay is to increase the knowledge of which strategies students with reading and writing disabilities or dyslexia use to learn in secondary school. The study aims to examine the following questions:Which coping strategies do students with reading and writing disabilities use in their studies?How can remedial teachers support students with reading and writing disabilities in their learning process?The study consists of two interviews with a total of three hours recorded material made with a secondary school teacher who teaches Swedish and English. The teacher has experiences of reading and writing disabilities herself but also from teaching students with dyslexia. The interviews are constructed into a lifestory describing experiences of reading and writing disabilities in school, during teacher training and as a teacher.

Diagnosens värde i den pedagogiska planeringen för koncentrationsstörda barn i skolan

In my composition, I have choosen to examine the question: What value does the diagnoses have for the teacher when it comes to organizing the work with children troubled by apprehensive disabilities?The method I used to examine my question was qualitative interview.The teachers? I have interviewed are either pre-schoolteachers or schoolteachers.Most of the teachers speak highly of using methods like Komet or SET in the work with the pupils troubled by deficits in their ability to concentrate.During my investigation, I have learned that the teachers think that methods like the above mentioned may help preventing some of the problems at school.Former research as well as the interviewed teachers are saying that rules and structure are very important when you are teaching children troubled by deficits in their ability to concentrate.The teachers are feeling just like me, a little bit insecure when it comes to the diagnoses and most of the time the diagnoses just confirm what the teacher already knows.My intention with this study was to aquire a deeper understanding of what it means to have concentration disabilities and to broaden my knowledge of what the teacher can do to ease the years at school for these children.Keywords: Concentration disabilities, teachers, diagnose, educational planning.

Trots allt, en människa : En undersökning av två dagstidningars framställning av personer med fysiska funktionsnedsättningar

The aim of this study is to illuminate images and discourses, in which media describe people with disabilities. The purpose of the study will be fulfilled, by answering the following questions: Is it possible to discern categories of how people with disabilities are described in the media and is it possible to find associations to handicap models? We have chosen to focus on how media describe people with physical impairments and have made a content analyses of articles, based on the theoretic aim of this study, social constructionism, handicap models and earlier research. Underlying the analyses, are six articles from two Swedish news papers. The results of our research are divided in three categories: assumptions which are taken for granted, hidden meanings and contradicted categories.

Mental träning som rehabiliteringsmetod av övre extremitet efter stroke : En litteraturstudie

Syftet med denna studie är att beskriva mental träning som rehabiliteringsmetod för personer som drabbats av stroke med hemipares av övre extremitet. Metoden som har använts är litteraturstudie med deskriptiv ansats. Tolv vetenskapliga artiklar ligger till grund för resultatet. Resultatet i alla granskade studier visar att mental träning ger positiva motoriska förändringar och att patienterna upplever ett ökat användande av armen i ADL. Mental träning är en kostnadseffektiv metod som patienterna lätt tar till sig och som i kombination med fysisk träning ökar resultaten av rehabilitering.

To achieve this purpose we have chosen to use a qualitative method with deliberation interviews. The interviews have been implemented with six different persons in authority who work in social welfare offices and as LSS - administrators.Ensured to our questions, (1) How does persons in authority do in the meeting with persons that has a disability and chooses to become parents? (2) Which possibilities respective difficulties see persons in authority within social service and LSS with parenthood where the parent has a disability? (3) What is done in order to facilitate the needs that are added when persons with disabilities chooses to become parents? we consider that they have been responded to.Through our empirical materials we can interpret and read out the replies that we searched for in connection with our survey.

The education should include every one.The aim of my study was to investigate the education with pupils that have reading and writing disabilities. I wanted to get a deeper knowledge about working methods that are used for pupils with these problems.In my study I have used qualitative research methods. I have used group interviews and observational studies.

This paper is a literature review that examines how good mental calculation skills benefit pupils, which could work as a valuable learning tool for future teachers. The study addresses four key questions: ?What are the advantages of proficient mental calculations??, ?What strategies exist for mental calculation skills??, ?How can teachers accommodate their teaching to develop pupils? mental calculation skills?? and ?What has arithmetic looked like in different eras and what algorithms have been used??. Most of the information online is difficult for people with cognitive disabilities to understand and assimilate. In this project I have had the expectation that this is possible to change. In cooperation with FUB, a Swedish organization working for people with cognitive disabilities, I have studied how to adapt content, pictures and writing to persons with the levels of mild to moderate cognitive disabilities. I have also taken the perspective ?design for all?, which means that you adapt a design for the weakest persons in the society to make it work for everyone.The purpose of my work is to study how to create a web text where content, writing and pictures are incorporated.To examine how to do this I have conducted qualitative interviews in which I have let the informants look at and read four different texts.

VEM HÖR TILL? : Eller inte?

Over the past two decades, trends of integration processes in terms of citizens of different ethnicities, different gender and different sexual belongings, etc. has grown thanks to debates and new legislations. A marginalized and discriminated group in society such as women, immigrants, homosexuals, transsexuals and people with disabilities during this time has gained momentum in the community. The curiosity over whether these developments have changed our attitudes and values to the world around us, and if so how, is the reason for this master's thesis in disability studies.The Swedish development forms the basis for my belief on a younger generation of people who would be more tolerant than previous generations, in terms of what is considered to belong to the norm in our society, or not. The purpose of this study is therefore to increase knowledge about what beliefs young people today have about people with disabilities.

Trötthet och fördomar : en studie i diskriminering av överviktiga vid mental trötthet

Syftet med den här studien var att undersöka om mental trötthet leder till ökad diskriminering av överviktiga. Genom att använda en dual process-modell, inleddes undersökningen med en bedömningsuppgift som deltagarna fick utföra i labbmiljö. Vid ett senare tillfälle fick var och en ombesörja att de genomförde ett implicit associationstest (IAT), följt av en explicit graderingsfråga, där deltagarna uppskattade en eventuell skillnad i normal- kontra överviktigas mentala prestation. Syftet med dessa tester var att ta reda på om diskriminering mot överviktiga existerade inom gruppen i sin helhet på såväl implicit som explicit nivå. Hälften av gruppen hade genomgått en kraftig mental trötthetsbelastning före bedömningsuppgiften, med avsikt att se om bias mot överviktiga ökade vid mental trötthet.

Unga flickors psykiska hälsa i södra länsdelen i Örebro län : En kvalitativ studie baserad på Liv & Hälsa Ung från år 2011

This study is about young girls' mental health. In Sweden, the mental health deteriorated in recent years among adolescents, particularly among young girls. Results of the Liv & Hälsa Ung in 2011 in the southern part of the county of Örebro is the basis for the study. The results of the survey showed that a remarkable number of young girls rate their mental health as poor. The purpose of this study was to examine what young girls in southern part of the county of Örebro County believes are contributing factors for good mental health and the method used is qualitative.

En skola för alla : På vilket sätt blir elever med fysiskt funktionshinder bemötta av elever och lärare?

AbstractThe purpose with my study was to find out how students with physical difficulties are treated in school by teachers and other students and also if there are any differences between how teachers and students treat students with physical difficulties. I also wanted to see if there were any prejudices against students with physical disabilities from either students or teachers. If there are any prejudices, I wanted to know what kind it is that exists. When I went to school, I remember that I looked down on the students with physical difficulties because they were different. When I have been working in school as a teacher, I have seen students who pull away from students with difficulties.I chose to do the study at a higher grade school, because I have not been in such a high grade in school during my practice.

Krav och kontroll i det moderna arbetslivet

Samhällsförändringar som globalisering och teknisk utveckling har förändrat arbetslivet vilket gjort att förutsättningarna för begrepp som krav och kontroll kan ha förändrats. Syftet med denna studie var att ur ett åldersperspektiv identifiera eventuella huvudeffekter av nya krav och former av kontroll på mental ohälsa men även modererande effekter av kontroll på sambandet mellan krav och mental ohälsa. En enkät skickades till en revisionsfirma och gav 251 svar. Fyra regressionsanalyser utfördes och visade att måloklarhet hade ett signifikant samband med mental ohälsa får både yngre och äldre medan otydlighet kring när arbetsuppgiften är avklarad endast var signifikant för yngre. Samtidigt visade sig autonomi ha en modererande effekt på sambandet mellan måloklarhet och mental ohälsa.
