Abstract   This degree project comprises 30 credits, i.e. 20 weeks of work. The work mainly deals with the energy balance for a multi-family house in Västerås and the requirements for energy conservation in the Swedish building code, BBR. Calculations of the energy balance are supplemented by a number of interviews. Energy conservation in general has become more important in recent years and the subject is in line with increased public awareness. This importance and attention is explained by environmental problems in general and global warming in particular, but also by rising energy prices.

This report is the result of a thesis carried out at the Department of Innovation, Design and Technology (IDT), at Mälardalen University on behalf of ABB AB Machines.The year was 1988 when ASEA and Brown Boveri formed a joint venture under the name ABB (Asea Brown Boveri).We perform our thesis at the division Discrete Automation and Motion where they primarily develops, manufactures and sells synchronous and asynchronous AC motors and generators.The main purpose of this thesis was initially to write a general packaging instruction, but the priority changed to develop more specific packaging instructions for Rotors, Stator gables, Bearing support and Outer Cover (plates) instead.The work started off to deal with a problem about that the staff had to start its work to grind away rust on the stator gables due to those stored outdoors. The result was mainly an investment in a new gable rack so that the material can be stored inside, as well as a packing instruction as it was originally intended.The problem on the bearing supports were that the staff thought it was demanding and difficult to clean them from the rustproofing they were greased in. If it is not possible to remove all rust protection it can cause the paint to not attach properly. After having compared with similar articles a test were done to order a pair of bearing supports without corrosion inhibitor, which gave good results. This initiative also set in motion a process to do the same for more different items.For special pallet, a survey were made of the process with two different VSM and a calculation of how much ABB would earn at ordering more special pallets than getting the material delivered on the A-pallets.

SammanfattningSyftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka om det är möjligt att från idrottspsykologins mentala träning anpassa och skräddarsy den för mig, som musiker, för att på så sätt kunna sänka både stress och nervositetsnivå.Min tanke med uppsatsen är att den förhoppningsvis ska kunna väcka ett intresse för idrottspsykologins mentala träning inom musikaliska kretsar.De aspekter av den mentala träningen som jag valt att fokuserat på är att med hjälp av den mentala träningen strukturera upp den mentala förberedelseprocessen: inför, under och efter ett uppträdande.De metoder som jag använt mig av är litteraturstudier och praktiska undersökningar, på mig själv som musiker, med hjälp av de olika övningar och teorier som presenteras i den litteratur som jag studerat. Dessa övningar och teorier har jag sen anpassat för mig, som musiker.Jag har även valt att läsa boken The inner game of music av Berry Green och W. Timothy Gallwey för att se vilka teorier som redan finns översatta för musiker och för att se om det finns något mer att tillägga.Resultatet visar att det är möjligt att sänka både stress och nervositetsnivån med hjälp av de teorier och övningar som jag tagit del av och sedan omvandlat.Vidare diskuteras det i analysen och i diskussionen hur en musiker på bästa sätt kan ta till vara på dessa metoder och övningar..

SAMMANFATTNING Syftet med detta examensarbete var att undersöka den fysiska aktiviteten hos barn och ungdomar med svårbehandlad fetma. Urvalet (n=58) kom till via ett konsekutivt urval vid Överviktsenheten, Akademiska Sjukhuset i Uppsala. Data insamlades under tidsperioden februari 2008 till februari 2010 och omfattade barn och ungdomar med svårbehandlad fetma mellan 10 och 17 år. Information över deltagarnas fysiska aktiviteter insamlades med hjälp utav en subjektiv självrapporteringsmetod i form av en aktivitetsdagbok vilken sträckte sig över tre eller fyra på varandra följande dygn. Resultatet för samtliga deltagare visade ett medelvärde av PAL på 1,59.

I förarbeten till lagarna LVM och LPT framkommer det att det finns en problematik kring vården av personer som lider av både missbruk och psykisk ohälsa. Det framgår att samarbetet mellan psykiatri och socialtjänst i vissa avseende är att anse som bristfälligt och att brukarna faller mellan stolarna. Syftet med studien har varit att, genom granskning av rättskällorna, ta reda på och tydliggöra vad som ska ses som gällande rätt, för om en person med både missbruk och psykisk ohälsa ska få vård enligt LVM eller LPT. Metoden som har använts är en rättsvetenskaplig metod där fokus legat på granskning av rättskällorna. En rättsfallsstudie har även gjorts för att bredda bilden av hur rekvisiten för lagstiftningarna tillämpas.

Violence and aggression is a common problem for staff in different care units. Caregivers often feel frustrated and unsatisfied in their work with these patients. Even caregivers with long experience finds it valuable to get education in management of violent patients. The aim of this literature study was to illuminate staffs experience in meeting with aggresive and violent patients. The method that was used was a literature research, where earlier research findings were read, analysed and put together.

Den svenska sågverksindustrin upplever en hård konkurrens på världsmarknaden för sågade trävaror. Efterfrågan har minskat utan att marknadens utbud har justerats ned. Detta har genererat lägre världsmarknadspriser och en utslagning av sågverksaktörer. Vägen till överlevnad och lönsamhet är inte entydig, men med en förbättrad och väl avvägd produktionskapacitet ökar chansen att vidmakthålla konkurrenskraften. AB Karl Hedins sågverk i Krylbo har som målsättning att årligen öka produktiviteten med två procent. Ett sätt att uppnå denna målsättning är att investera i utrustning som förbättrar produktionsprocessen.

Syftet med detta arbete var att på ett tydligt sätt beskriva respondenternas upplevelse av anställningsotrygghet för ca 7 år sedan. Hur detta har påverkat deras hantering och upplevelse av liknande händelser i efterhand. Förteorierna som vi använde i vår bakgrund var bland annat det faktum att många människors anställningar har blivit osäkra och föränderliga. Ansatsen var kvalitativ med en hermeneutisk tolkningsspiral som transkriberingsmetod. Det psykologiska kontraktet, hantering och upplevelser av stress togs vidare upp i vår fördjupning och konkretisering som till exempel miljöstress, betingning och känslan av sammanhang.

The purpose with our research in Varbergs Kurort is to study how persons that have been a part of the individual adjusted rehabilitation program First Step have found their stay during their program. The program holds a team of professionals that together work with the individual?s physical and mental health. In our study we have included eight women and to men in the age between 35-65 years who all suffered from a slight mentally illness. Out of a social psychological perspective we have based our study from the social and room environment and how their self-recovery has affected their wellbeing during their rehabilitation.

Unhealthiness is not just a damaged back or asbestos. The fact that mental ill-health seems to increase in our society is well known. Statistics from Arbetsmiljöverket proves a fourfold increase of work-related disorders since 1997. These are primarily caused by organizational and social factors, 60% are considered caused by stress and a heavy workload. Sick leave due work related fatigue and depressions are scarily common today.

Introduction: Basic Body Awereness Therapy (BBAT) is a treatment developed to treat different kinds of psychiatric diagnoses, but also to prevent the emergence of any other unhealthy conditions. The treatment is aimed to increase the body control and conscious breathing but also requires mental awareness.Aim: The aim of this study is to, based on social cognitive theory, describe patients' experiences of BBAT performed as group therapy.Method: The study design was qualitative with an inductive approach. Five people were interviewed after a BBAT group treatment in primary care. The data was collected by individual interviews with semi-structured questions and the interviews were analysed by qualitative content analysis.Result/Conclusion: The participants experienced increased body awareness and implemented BBAT strategies even though the treatment frequency was insufficient. BBAT was described as helpful used to regulate intensity level, stress management and facilitate breathing.

Bakgrund: En psykossjukdom är en sjukdom som inte bara drabbar personen själv utan hela dennes familj. Hela familjens livsvärld påverkas och familjelivet ansträngs hårt. Den psykossjuka familjemedlemmen erfar världen på ett annorlunda sätt. Vanliga symtom vid en psykos är bland annat hallucinationer och vanföreställningar. En bra vårdrelation mellan vårdgivare, den sjuka psykossjuka familjemedlemmen och anhöriga är en förutsättning för återhämtning.Syfte: Få ökad kunskap om och förståelse för anhörigas upplevelse av att leva med en familjemedlem med psykossjukdom.Metod: Metoden som valdes för studien var en systematisk litteraturstudie i vilken elva vetenskapliga artiklar analyserades med en kvalitativ innehållsanalys.Resultat: Tre kategorier framträdde ur data.

An increased awareness about the global warming has created a demand for more information on how the climate is affected by different activities.This master thesis was initiated by Tricorona, a Swedish company that offers its customers analysis and calculation of their climate impact. Tricorona also supplies climate neutralisation with CERs, in accordance with the Kyoto protocol and controlled by the UN. This work demands updated emission factors for greenhouse gases. An emission factor gives information about the greenhouse gasintensity of a service or a product [kg CO2-eq./ functional unit].The purpose of this thesis is to examine how electricity, district heating, hotels, taxis, food and materials affect the climate and how emission factors for these areas can be calculated.This was done by reviewing and comparing different studies and by interviewing experts. The information was evaluated and recommendations on calculations and emission factors were made.The consumption of energy is the main source of greenhouse gas emissions for district heating, electricity, hotels, taxis and materials.

The goals of this essay are to identify rituals and ritual behavior at the department of archaeology and ancient history at Lund University. To do this a series of empirical examinations was conducted. Observations, interviews and polls revealed that some ritual behavior is in fact present. Two types of rituals were identified; the interaction ritual, as presented by Erving Goffman in the book Interaction Ritual, Essays on Face-to-Face Behavior, in 1967. The second type of ritual is a ?problem solving? ritual, such as meetings.

The purpose of this study was to examine whether there was any connection between coping strategies; emotional and cognitive strategy and perceived level of stress among primary school teachers in primary and middle school. It was also investigated whether there was a difference between full-time and part-time employees and perceived level of stress. As a theoretical background Lazarus' transaction theory of stress was used as an explanation of mental stress, Lazarus coping strategies for stress and Karasek?s and Theorell?s model of psychosocial work environment was used to explain unhealthy at work. To measure coping we used Coping inventory resources and to measure the stress we used Percieved stress scale.
