This study examines the background and nature of the credit default index swaption (CDIS) and presentsrelevant methods for modelling credit risk. A CDIS is a credit derivative contract that gives the buyerright to enter into a credit default index swap (CDS index) contract at a given point in time. ACDS index, in turn, is a multi-name credit default swap (CDS). Within the eld of research, thisthesis identi es the CDIS pricing models presented by Jackson (2005), Rutkowski & Armstrong (2009)and Morini & Brigo (2011) as the most recognized and developed. These models are evaluated byreconstruction in a numerical software environment.

The purpose of this study is to analyse and describe social work students? view on a person with self-injurious behaviour and the following issues. The aim and focus is on the general depiction. The theoretical perspectives have been intersectionality and its focus on social constructivism, and gender perspectives. The method was semi-structured interviews with eight social work students at Linnaeus University Kalmar.

This report is written on commission by WSP Acoustics. The report studies the outdoor sound levels on school yards in Stockholm. The questions given by the company to be answered was what are the actual sound levels at diffrent school yards with low traffic noise and how can you construct a facade element that reduces the sound level from the outside and meet the indoor requirements. Mesurements for four hours was done at eight schools set north and south of the city centre. The measurement period included one school break and one lunch break.

Bakgrund: Kronisk hjärtsvikt är ett ökande sjukdomstillstånd bland befolkningen och påverkar det dagliga livet för de drabbade.Syfte: Syftet med studien är att beskriva fysisk aktivitet samt dess betydelse för livskvalitet för vuxna personer med kronisk hjärtsvikt.Metod: En systematisk litteraturstudie valdes som metod. Sökning av artiklar gjordes via databaserna PubMed, Cinahl och ELIN@kalmar.Resultat: Fysisk aktivitet i form av specialutvecklade träningsprogram är en betydelsefull faktor för patienter som lider av kronisk hjärtsvikt. Fysisk aktivitet har en positiv effekt på samtliga dimensioner av livskvalitet (global, fysisk, mental och social) hos de personer som lider av kronisk hjärtsvikt.Slutsats: Det är viktigt att vårdpersonal, däribland sjusköterskor, möjliggör att fysisk aktivitet blir lättillgänglig och genomförd för alla patienter som drabbas av kronisk hjärtsvikt och detta så tidigt som möjligt för att undvika en snabb försämring av deras livskvalitet.Nyckelord: kronisk hjärtsvikt, livskvalitet, fysisk aktivitet, omvårdnad..

Syftet med vårt examensarbete är att undersöka vilken geografisk omvärldsbild elever har, dvs. vilken inre karta de har av världen, och hur den formas. Vi har använt oss av en metod bestående av en enkät med både allmänna frågor om elevens erfarenheter samt tre kunskapsbaserade uppgifter om kartan. Den första av dessa tre är en öppen uppgift där eleven ombeds rita världskartan på ett blankt papper. Det görs sedan kopplingar mellan elevernas erfarenheter, kunskaper och den mentala kartan.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine the relationship between the elderly at a retirement home and their professional caretakers with focus on the perspective of the elderly. Chosen method, a qualitative interview analysis has been conducted to describe how the relationship affects the elderly in their everyday lives. The total amount of interviews were four. The relationship between the elderly and their professional caretakers has rarely been examined in previous research from an elder?s perspective.The results indicate that the elderly often are satisfied with the way the professional caretakers treat them.

The study aims toprovide an overview of the mostbeneficial bridge material from bothenvironmental and economic point ofview.The life-cycle analysis covers onlycarbon dioxide emissions, since it isthe most spoken of in today?s climateagenda. Furthermore, this study aims tohighlight which parts, of the systemboundary, that contributes to greatercarbon emissions for the wood- and theconcrete bridge.The life-cycle cost analysis wascalculated with a lifespan of 40 yearsand covers the basic cost of investment,operating and maintenance, anddecommissioning costs.The analyzed constructions in this studyare existing projects that are almostcompleted. Both bridges were designed tohandle loads up to 60 tons.

This study aims to examine how the interventions for homeless persons in the municipality of Kalmar are organized. The study is based on four half-structured qualitative interviews with both representatives from different instances and also from persons who have experience of being homeless.The theoretical bases we have used to analyze the material are organization theory, specifically the concept of bureaucracy. Our results show that homelessness is not seen as a problem in itself, since the general view is that homeless people often have a complex problem scenario where drug- and alcohol abuse and mental illness are common.It is often the latter that takes priority in the interventions and the housing question is therefore neglected. We also found that social services do not have a satisfactory structure around the organization of the work on homelessness. They do not have any specific device in Kalmar that focus on homelessness issues with the result that the existing units are forced to take care of the work of homelessness.

Objective: To study the evidence on physical activity (PA) as an effective preventive strategy for depression.Methods: A search of electronic databases was performed for articles between 2007 and 2012, both original research and review articles, concerning the link between PA and depression on children, youth and adults. Three reviews, five longitudinal and two cross sectional studies were included.Results:  PA reduced the likelihood of depression in many studies and a sedentary or inactive lifestyle increased the risks for mental health symptoms such as depression. One study showed that low PA in childhood increased the odds of depression as an adult and other studies on teenagers saw a connection and mediation between PA and self-esteem whereas physical fitness showed no mediating effect. Many of the studies and reviews point out the insecurity regarding the dose-response association and the difficulties in defining causality.Conclusion: PA might have a preventive effect on depression. Some evidence exist to support that PA in childhood prevents depression in adults.

The use of computer games has grown exponentially in the past few years and StarCraft II is one of the most popular e-sports today, played by millions of people worldwide. This study investigates the game?s effect on skills, as perceived by the players of StarCraft II.The study was conducted by using an empirical survey and interviews. The skills being investigated were both physical and mental in their nature. The conclusion was that the majority of players perceived that their skills regarding reaction speed, multitasking, APM, analysis and strategy were increased the most, while there was a smaller change in social skills and language skills.

Real estate financing is one of the key figures for financial success and fundamental to asuccessful business. Funding will come in several different ways, from existing cashflows andassets to new capital requirements which are aimed at different markets.These markets are constantly changing and since the recent financial crisis, there have beenadjustments and austerity measures which led to that the banks have become more restrictive intheir lending.The real estate industry is characterized by both long-term and short-term thinking that ischaracterized by a solid continuity. Our thesis discuss how the demand is in the real estatebusiness and how mature the Swedish market is for junior financingwith focus aroundmezzanine debt and where are we headed in the near future.We've reached out to the key players in the industry on both the buy and sell side of real estatefinancing but also people between lenders and borrowers that handles transaction advice. Tohave been able to implement the analysisa survey and simulation of an investment calculationwas created. This questionnaire was answered by many real estate companies with senior peoplethat had operational positionsmost associated with corporate commitments.

Syftet med studien var att i en intervention undersöka om mentala träningsprogram kan förbättra koncentrationsförmågan hos 17 allsvenska bandyspelare (M = 22,7, Sd = 4,59). Dessutom fanns en hypotes om att en förbättrad koncentrationsförmåga gav en bättre prestationsförmåga. Resultatet visade ett signifikant positivt resultat i 10 av 12 variabler när det gällde spelarnas utveckling av koncentration, från mätning 1 till mätning 2. Vidare visade sig spelarnas utveckling kunna kategoriseras i två överordnade teman, nämligen utveckling av färdigheter relaterade till interventionen och personlig utveckling. Dessutom hittades ett signifikant samband i att ju högre utvecklad tävlingskoncentration spelarna upplevde desto högre utvecklad prestationsförmåga upplevde de sig ha utvunnit.

Recept upptäcktes redan på 1600-talet fast i en annan skepnad än i dag, nuförtiden är recepten kortfattade och uppstrukturerade, det utnyttjar kallskänkor genom att utveckla en kod, de ser ingredienserna fort. Kallskänksyrket har funnits sedan 1900-talet men inte med samma innebörd och arbetsuppgifter. I arbetet finns en beskrivning av atmosfären i köket, personalens uppdelning och utbildningens kursplan.Syftet med studien var att utforska om kallskänkor arbetar med recept under matlagningen. Forskningsmetoden grundades på kvalitativa intervjuer. Arbetet bygger på mitt intresse för recept som blev starten för utformningen av den kvalitativa intervjuguiden som användes.Överlag skiftar användningen av recept, en del använder kokböcker medan andra förvarar grundrecepten i huvudet.

Stress är ett vanligt hälsoproblem som ökat under de senaste åren. Många sjuksköterskor upplever stress på sin arbetsplats vilket kan påverka omvårdnaden och patientsäkerheten. Vid stress sker fysiologiska-hormonella reaktioner i kroppens organsystem som utlöser fysiska och mentala påfrestningar.Syftet: var att beskriva sjuksköterskors hantering av stress på vårdavdelning. Metod: har varit en litteraturstudie. Databaser som använts var CINAHL och PubMed.

Syftet med detta examensarbete är att analysera nyckeltalen för produktionskostnaden som nyttjas vid investeringsbeslut i flerbostadsprojekt. För att kartlägga osäkerheterna innan investering sker tas kostnadskalkyler fram. Dessa kalkyler innehåller ofta flertalet osäkra poster då projekten är till stor del fortfarande på idéstadium och uppskattningar blir ett måste. Rapporten inleds med att riskerna, utifrån risknivå och konsekvenserna utav dem, definieras och analyseras. Följande presenteras Veidekkes önskade hantering av kostnadsriskerna och slutligen vilka möjligheter och hinder det finns inom dagens organisation för att uppnå dessa arbetsmetoder. Studien har baserats på kvalitativa intervjuer med representanter från olika yrkesroller, i olika projektskeden och från de tre olika svenska regionerna. Dessa intervjuer har visat på att de största osäkerheterna ligger i entreprenadkostnaderna, markkostnaderna och konjunkturens påverkan på bostadsmarknaden.
