För mig är veckotidningen en avkoppling, en flykt från vardagen. Här kan jag läsa om sådantsom inte är djupt eller kräver alltför mycket eftertanke. Min föreställning om veckotidningarär dock lite mer komplex än så. Trots att de ger mig diverse skönhetstips och råd samt ger migen stunds avkoppling så anser jag att många veckotidningar kan ge unga tjejer sämresjälvförtroende. Fokus på det ytliga kan ibland bli alltför stort och innehållet talar ofta emotderas försök till att ge tjejer bättre självförtroende.Miriam Nordfors skriver i juli 2006 en artikel i Expressen vid namn "Utseendehets".

This thesis deals with information provision to the knowledge intense biotechnology businesses of Ideon Science Park in Lund, Sweden. Previous research concerning the information needs of Science Park companies has been conducted from the information provider s perspective. Instead, we apply a user perspective to find out what information needs these companies have, and how they prefer to acquire information. Central terms are: information, -needs, -acquisition, -consciousness, -strategy, small and Medium sized enterprises, scientists and engineers, information (resources) management, networks, tacit knowledge, knowledge transfer and innovative milieux. The companies need scientific and business information; the latter is easily obtained within Ideon.

Background: Students, at a secondary upper school, attending a practical programme have a lower physical capacity than students from theoretical programs. Our physical self-esteem has a great significance for our motivation in being physically active and thereby also for our health. The purpose: of this study is to find out if there is a difference between perceived physical self-esteem and objectively measured physical activity between students attending a practical programme and a theoretical programme. Method: Four classes, in a Medium-sized town in the southeast of Sweden, participated in the study, two classes from practical programmes and two classes from theoretical programmes. All the students were in their final year at the upper secondary school, when they were part of the study during the autumn of 2011.

Internet är ett relativt nytt fenomen och det finns idag inte någon specifik eller självständig lagstiftning som reglerar marknadsföring på detta område. Det var länge en allmän uppfattning att Internet var ett laglöst territorium som inte omfattades av den nationella lagstiftningen eller kunde regleras. Idag har det dock konstaterats att det inte finns någon begränsning av MFL:s tillämplighet och det är således oväsentligt vilket Medium som används vid marknadsföringen. Genom den rättsdogmatiska metoden utreder vi gällande rätt för området och redogör för de regleringar som finns att tillgå då det kommer till marknadsföring riktad mot barn genom Internet.Marknadsföringen har parallellt med samhällsutvecklingen genererat nya kommunikationstekniker att tillgå. Resultatet blir att konsumenter dagligen utsätts för kommersiella påtryckningar, framförallt genom Internet som blivit en mycket potent marknadsföringskanal.

Bakgrund och problemformuleringDå frågor kring informationsteknikens (IT) användning inom vården ofta handlar om ekonomisk effektivitet och medicinsk nytta finns ett behov av att sätta ett vårdvetenskapligt perspektiv på frågan om nyttan eller effekterna av IT. Utifrån en teoretisk definition av IT respektive omvårdnad är det möjligt att se att IT kan ha betydelse för sjuksköterskans omvårdnad på åtminstone tre sätt; som informationsbärare av vårdvetenskaplig information, som Medium för interaktion med patienten och som påverkan på arbetsinnehåll och sjuksköterskans yrkesroll. Studien avser därför belysa hur sjuksköterskor uppfattar IT:s betydelse för omvårdnaden av patienten.SyfteStudien syftar till att belysa IT:s betydelse för sjuksköterskans omvårdnad av patienten. Kunskap om denna betydelse är en förutsättning för att omvårdnad som en viktig del i patientens vård, främjas av den IT-användning som införs och används inom hälso- och sjukvården.MetodSex intervjuer inom två forskningsfält gjordes och analyserades genom en kvalitativ innehållsanalys.Resultat och diskussionResultatet visar att IT i praktiken har liten betydelse ifråga om att stödja sjuksköterskans teoretiska omvårdnadskunskap. Genom att vården erbjuder kommunikation via e-post är det möjligt att patienters olika behov av kontakt med vården tillgodoses.

AbstractThis master thesis is a hermeneutic inspired case study of how the value base regarding the environmental and social responsibility in the Swedish coffee company Löfbergs Lila AB is affecting the company's business. A thesis inspired by hermeneutics means that it is based on two ideas, the one of interaction between entirety and partitions and the one of interpretation (Alvesson & Sköldberg 1994). This cause that the emphasis is on how the reality is interpreted and that it never can be seen as completely objective.The case study was conducted during the spring semester of 2010 at Karlstad's University and consists of both empirical and theoretical material collected during this time. The empirical material in this thesis includes, among other things, interviews with four representatives of Löfbergs Lila AB, written material from the company regarding its work related to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), some information about the coffee industry as a whole and different certifications for "ethical? coffee that exists on the Swedish market.The basic idea with CSR as a business strategy is that it can be financially beneficial for companies to take a social and environmental responsibility outside of the company (Vogel 2005).

Aktivitet som terapeutiskt Medium har varit centralt för att utveckla arbetsterapiprofessionen genom att använda aktivitet som mål och medel. Arbetsterapi är grundat på att engagemang i aktivitet är nödvändigt för hälsa och välmående. Trots detta har mycket av professionsutvecklingen lett till interventioner som inte är aktivitetsbaserade. Basal Kroppskännedom? (BK) och arbetsterapi har flera gemensamma grundantaganden.

Denna rapport är en dokumentation av ett examensarbete vid Karlstads universitet våren 2006. Arbetets storlek är 20 poäng varav 5 poäng utgörs av en litteraturstudie.Examensarbetet har gjorts i samarbete med Pöyry. Uppdragsbeskrivningen var att klimatanpassa en mjukpappersfabrik i ökenlandskap. Både för att tillgodose befintliga energibehov och om möjligt minska dem.Fabriken har ett behov av produktionsånga. The financial crisis in the beginning of the 1990´s the financial crisis had a strong impact on the Swedish economy. Some of the main actors in the crisis were the largest banks of Sweden which brought a huge amount of losses on themselves. One of the main reasons for this was that the banks focused on volume increases rather than on credit losses. The credit analysis process is performed differently these days and it is the development of this process that is the focus for the authors.This thesis is about the credit analysis process in the four largest banks of Sweden. The purpose of the thesis is to highlight which factors the banks include in the credit analysis process and in how small and Medium size companies are treated in this process.

Introduction: Sleep disorders are an increasingly growing public health problem. InSweden, the last decade's increase in sleep problems was greatest among younger agegroups. Studies show association between the use of communication media and sleepinghabits. Objective: The aim is to map sleep habits and use of communication Mediumamong adolescents and to study associations between them. Method: The study isbased on a previously collected survey data among high school students (18-21 years)from a coastal town in southern Sweden.

There are several factors influencing the profitability of production with sheep. Two of the most important factors are ewe fertility and lamb survival. Also growth capacity of the lambs is important. This paper aims to review correlations between the ewe?s fertility and maternal behavior and lamb survival.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how the public libraries work towards SFI (Swedish For Immigrants) based on the views of the overseeing librarians. To study this we have asked the following research questions:What distinguishes the public libraries? work towards SFI according to the responsible librarians? What distinguishes the communication between SFI teachers and the librarians according to the responsible librarians? What opinions are held by the librarians in regards to their work with SFI?We have used a semi structured interview method with seven librarians in charge of the activities with SFI at small and Medium sized public libraries in a rural area of Sweden. The theoretical framework is composed of Marianne Andersson and Dorte Skot-Hansen?s model for analysis of the local public library profile and the authors? definition of collaboration.

In the 19th century, photography was often employed in attempts to objectively capture evidence of paranormal phenomena. With the advent of television, this tradition came to be coupled with the apparent mystery of distant communication through electromagnetic waves. The television set has often been depicted as intrinsically occult or even haunted.It is therefore natural that television has proven to be an ideal Medium to present beliefs, tales, and investigations about paranormal phenomena. Most such presentations have been openly ficticious, but in television the distinction between fact and fiction is often blurred, and the emergence of shows where the crew claims to pursue a serious investigation was inevitable. One of the most successful such shows is the British Most Haunted, airing since 2001.

Syftet med projektet var att undersöka om elever kan motiveras i skrivprocessen och i elevrespons med hjälp av Internet, dator och bloggteknik. Syftet var även att se om undervisningen kunde individualiseras i högre grad med hjälp av dessa medier. Projektet utfördes i svenskundervisningen i en klass sju under fyra veckor. Eleverna arbetade med att fördjupa sig i sagogenren, producera egna sagor samt ge varandra konstruktiv kritik i form av bloggrespons. Eleverna observerades under arbetet och fem individer valdes ut för en närmre observation och intervju angående motivation och engagemang.

This report focuses on the upper slit. The upper slit is located between the impeller andthe drive unit. The slit design depends on pump type and application. However it isuncertain why the design varies, The purpose of this report is to clarify why the designvaries and to recommend an improved slit design.A research has been done; information was gathered from interviews, but also fromsearching of databases and studies of drawings, reports and documents. The originalpurpose of the slit was to prevent twining around the driveshaft, and prevent dirt fromentering the cooling system.
