The purpose of this study was to examine how teachers practice Arne Tragetons theory of using computers as the first writing instrument in reading and writing development. We wanted to clarify how the work from using Tragetons theory was applied while investigating if and how other methods of reading and writing instruction were used. Our interest lays in how the teachers accomplished the knowledge of this theory and also how the choice of this approach came about. To investigate this we used interviews with a qualitative nature, where seven active teachers were interviewed. They worked in three different schools in years one to three, they were all women and had various long experiences of work on the computer writing tools.

The purpose of this study was to examine two Medium-sized municipalities are working to people with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to go from daily activities to a paid employment in the regular labor. Work is seen as a civil right and is a measure of participa-tion in society. The Swedish government believes that the work must be available to all that includes people with intellectual disabilities. Even so, daily activities, the contribution of LSS is increases the most. The daily activities will offer incentives, development, and community and shall contribute to people get access to work or studies.

Internet access has been a part of the range in public libraries for approximately a decade. The Swedish municipals, in charge of the public libraries, and the libraries themselves, have a great deal of saying in how they should be run, what to offer the public, how many hours they have to stay open etcetera. The Library law is very vague on many things, including public Internet access. Even though Sweden is ranked as first runner up worldwide when it comes to Internet penetration among the population (Internet World Stats 2007), approximately twenty percent in the 16-74 age group does not have Internet access at home, at work or at school (SCB 2006a). In this master thesis we try to determine, through personal interviews, how six of those in charge feel about Internet at their libraries, all located in Medium-sized municipals (20 000 ? 40 000 inhabitants), why they have chosen the rules and regulations they have and their thoughts about what they consider to be the most important assignment of public libraries.

Active work to increase the efficiency of energy use is taking place in Sweden and throughout all of Europe. Electricity is an important part in our society?s energy system which means that the electrical grid operators and associated therewith has a central role in this work. Monitoring and controlling the electrical grids are managed from the distribution system operator?s DC, dispatch center.The aim of this report is to examine how the operations in a typical DC on the Swedish electricity distribution network will look like in five to ten years.

Social work in Sweden has historically been mostly done by the public sector andthe work has been regulated by law. In the last two decades, private and voluntaryactors have played an important role as providers of welfare state; one of theseplayers is the Swedish Church. The aim of this thesis has been to describe thework the deacons perform in the Swedish Church in a Medium-sized municipalityin Sweden. To find out how much freedom of action the deacons themselves feelthat they have and if they feel that their work is influenced by the social work thatother performers are doing. In order to reach the goal, a qualitative approach wasused where seven deacons were interviewed.

Social media today is a current topic, it has developed fast and continues to spread in a fast moving pace. Recent trends states that social media becomes more integrated into peoples personal lives. This essay deals with the subject area social media, focusing on the channel Instagram. The topic is chosen because of it´s popularity in today's digital communications landscape, and also keeping in mind that there is a great lack of previous studies on the subject. The purpose of this paper is to provide insights into how companies should handle images on the social media channel Instagram by testing two different strategies against each other.

This is a qualitative study which purpose is to examine how the social workers in a Medium-sized municipality in southern of Sweden are experiencing the different forms of housing that the municipality has for disposal. The purpose is also to examine opinions - belonging to the social workers? representatives - concerning the value of motivational work in changing the lifestyles of assaulted and addicted women. The questions we have decided to examine are; how is the social services' work with assaulted and addicted women designed, how do the social workers experiences the situation on these forms of housing and what the social workers believe is promoting and inhibiting factors for motivation with assaulted and addicted women. The results in this study are built on qualitative semi-structured interviews with social workers where both sexes are represented.

The furniture retail industry in Sweden has gone trough large changes during the last decades. Today the industry is tough and in the maturity stage where few new companies enter, especially if they do not have a unique offer. The furniture companies have become larger and fewer, the changes have lead to difficulties for smaller and Medium sized companies to grow and be profitable.Our purpose is to analyse, evaluate and compare three smaller companies in Stockholm with the intention to find what kind of marketing strategies they are using to survive on the Swedish market. First we interviewed the three companies to see what they do to survive on the market, then we asked 100 persons to fill in a questionnaire to see if they had the same opinion as the companies described.With help from theories we prepared questions which laid the foundation to the empirical part of the essay.The result from this study shows that the three companies differ from each other when it comes to using relationship marketing and placing the customer in the centre. All of them are aware of the importance of doing so, but because of different limits and possibilities they can not fully adjust everything to the customer.

While focusing on ethos and its development, the following paper analyses the communicative strategies used by Germany's ex-minister of defense, Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg. Within his one and a half year tenure he had to handle continuing accusations against policy and character. Guttenberg, who in many eyes was seen as Germany's most popular politician and whose ethos, therefore, prior to the first crisis could be described as strong, is loosing his trustworthiness among the military and other politicians the longer each crisis continues.The purpose of this study is to identify the communicative pattern of Mr. Guttenberg, which in the end lead to his resignation, while his popularity continues to be strong.

The questions asked were designed to help answering thepurpose of the study.Main results: This study shows that in general there is a positive view of Internet datingamong both groups. They appreciate the opportunities it provides, as they get to knowthe other persons personality first. Even so, it should be noted that they still tend to be abit ashamed to talk about Internet dating, and some don?t want to be associated with it.The communication pattern tend to be pretty much the same among both groups.

AbstractThe purpose of this work is to try to find out how young people's reading habits among students look at different types of secondary school, ie. both theoretical and practical, and what factors might encourage them to read more. My questions have been; do young people read today? Is there any difference between city, gender or program? What can a teacher do to inspire young people to read more? I have made a questionnaire survey among different students at two different high schools in Skaraborg. The first school is a high school located in a Medium sized town, where I made inquiries to the scientific program, social program, Business and Administration Program and the Electricity Program.

Mitt examensarbete är en studie i vardagsfotografiet som behandlar behovet och funktionen av denna fotografiska genre samt hur den behandlats i samtidskonsten. Jag undersöker samtida nordiska konstnärers metoder i bearbetningen av vardagsfotografiet samt min egen metod utifrån den konstnärliga gestaltningen. Metoderna analyseras utifrån deras relation till minnen, dess effekter och synliggörandet av fotografiska konventioner.Metoderna återkopplas i den didaktiska diskussionen där jag behandlar hur man kan arbeta med vardagsfotografiet i bildundervisningen i skolan. Ett ämne som är viktigt för det bildpedagogiska fältet då det behandlar en vardaglig praktik och ett Medium som ungdomar dagligen använder.I den gestaltande delen undersöks vardagsfotografier ur mina föräldrars och farföräldrars fotoalbum genom att rekonstruera befintliga bilder i form av iscensättning. Tillvägagångssättet bestod av att återuppbygga scenen i fotografiet på den plats där bilden tagits.

Arbetet har jämfört de emissioner som olika tjocklek på lacklagren samt olika torkningstemperaturer ger upphov till. Det konstaterades att tjocka lager ger upphov till oproportionerligt höga emissioner både på kort och framförallt på lång sikt. En högre torkningstemperatur orsakar lägre emissioner på kort sikt men lika höga eller högre på lång sikt. Inverkan från underlaget som lacken applicerades på undersöktes också och där konstaterades att ett porösare Medium, i detta fall en MDF-skiva, orsaker lägre emissioner. Sannolikt pga att ämnena sugs upp av materialet.

Organisationskommunikation har under de senaste decennierna påverkats av olika samhälleliga förändringar. Störst påverkan har möjligheten att kommunicera via digitala medier haft. Många förutspådde att dessa digitala medier, såsom intranät, skulle leda till bortfallet av mer traditionella pappers-kanaler, exempelvis personaltidningar, som länge använts för intern kommunikation. Detta har emellertid inte inträffat vilket tyder på att papperskanalerna bidrar med något de digitala medierna inte kan. Dessa resonemang formade en fråga om vilka Medium som bör användas för att organisationer ska nå sina medarbetare med information.Det sätts alltså en stor tilltro till att de digitala medierna kommer styra en allt större del av den interna kommunikationen i framtiden.
