In our study the purpose was to examine the influence of Continuing Professional Education on small and Medium sized auditing- and accounting practices. The study also aims to analyze possible similarities and differences in how small and Medium sized auditing and accounting practices are affected of the requirements regarding Continuing Professional Education. In order to fulfill our purpose in the study we conducted interviews with auditors and accounting consultants on small and Medium sized auditing- and accounting practices. Totally did we conduct seven interviews with four auditors and three accounting consultants. The majority of auditors and accounting consultants we interviewed are satisfied with the current requirements on Continuing Professional Education and think they contribute to the increase of quality and status of the work tasks performed by auditors and accounting consultants.

The objective of the present study was to evaluate distillers? dried grains with solubles (DDGS) as a protein source to rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss), by studying digestibility and growth measurements. One control diet, totally lacking DDGS, and three test diets were made containing 10 % (low), 31% (Medium) and 51 % (high) DDGS respectively on dry matter (DM) basis. The control diet and the test diets were made to be as nutritionally equal as possible. Wheat bran was used to balance the fiber content of the diets.

I denna rapport redogör jag för det praktiska examensarbete jag genomförde under vårterminen 2015. Jag har studerat antidrog och -alkoholkampanjer under 70-80-tal, kampanjen ?Det finns många anledningar att inte testa knark? samt kampanjen ?Langarmytologi? som lanserades våren 2015. This paper is about our collective fascination for the social Medium Instagram, and our lively discussions about why certain images may be more so-called "Liked" than others and why some individuals becomes more successfull on Instagram than others. Thanks to our own daily use of Instagram, the idea was born to study and look at how some individuals build their brand through this social Medium. With social media new ways to construct and communicate images have appeared. Artists, celebrities and companies use media as a channel for communication and marketing. In our study, we focus on the use of Instagram for marketing purposes by Rachel Brathen, one of the worlds most well-known yogainstructors.

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze homelessness in a Medium-sized municipality from an organizational perspective. Some of the central questions in this study are: How is the cause of homelessness explained? How do different actors in the community address, prevent and combat homelessness? Who is responsible for the homelessness?This study is based on four semi-structured interviews with organizations that work with homelessness. The analysis is based on problem definition theory.The result of this study shows that homelessness is a problem in this Medium-sized municipality even if it is not a big one and that it is often closely combined with substance abuse. The responsibility for the homeless is on the homeless themselves and the social service because that causes is, according to this study, individual based.  .

The aim of the project was to develop a method to investigate differences in adhesion of microorganisms to materials that contains lignocellulose. The method was tested on a gram-positive (Micrococcus lutea) and one gram-negative (E-coliJM109) bacteria.The study was begun by cultivation of the two microorganisms. The cultivation was done to calculate the generation times of the bacteria and to obtain growth curves. Cells from these cultivations were also frozen (-70ºC) and later used for inoculation.At STFI-Packforsk AB the total charge on the mass was measured and later a conductivity titration on the mass was executed as well, all to find out more about the different properties of the mass. Properties that in a later part of this study could possibly be linked to the adhesion of cells to the pulp.

This essay is about the use of narrative in video games, and the discussion surrounding it. For years ludologists (game researchers) and narratologists (narrativity researchers) have been arguing about how to analyze narrativity in games. While ludologists have chosen to see games as a product by itself, and therefore something to be analyzed separately, narratologists instead see games as a narrative Medium alongside film, theater and books. This essay starts by taking a look at the arguments from both sides, and then introduces three questions regarding narrative in games, and how this phenomenon has changed over the past 13 years. To answer these questions, five case studies are carried out, analyzing games with the help of a new framework built on narrative theory.

SVT Nordnytt är Sveriges Televisions regionala nyhetsprogram för Norrbotten.Syftet med den här uppsatsen var att ta reda på hur sändningarna har nyhetsvärderats, hur de har sett ut utifrån ett semiotiskt perspektiv och hur de fungerat på teven som Medium, utifrån SVT Nordnytts nyhetssändningar som gått 21:45 på vardagar.Vi använde oss av en kvalitativ innehållsanalys för att kunna svara på hur nyhetsvärderingen gått till och hur sändningarna fungerat på teven som Medium. Vi använde oss även av en kvalitativ analys utifrån ett semiotiskt perspektiv, då vi analyserade de fyra högst nyhetsvärderade inslagen utifrån denotation och konnotation. Detta för att ta reda på hur sändningarna sett ut utifrån ett semiotiskt perspektiv.Vår slutsats var att SVT Nordnytt värderar nyheter om politik högst och att de följer den traditionella nyhetsvärderingen som vi har använt oss av i denna uppsats. De når även ut till publiken genom identifikation, men det är något SVT Nordnytt skulle kunna arbeta mer med. Genom att titta på vår undersökning utifrån ett semiotiskt perspektiv kom vi fram till att mycket av det som visas kodas på sådana sätt att bara ett visst kulturellt kollektiv kan förstå sändningarna.

This thesis investigates the situation for comics in Swedish public libraries. The main questions is separated into two groups, the first dealing with the physical situation were we investigate placement, cataloguing and shelf arrangement. The second deals with the librarians attitudes towards comics and how they may affect their work. The base for this thesis is the idea that the comic Medium may sometimes be treated different than the rest of the libraries collections. Because of this, a theoretical basis is developed which focus on different views on comics.
