Introduktion. Varje år inträffar misstag inom sjuksköterskors läkemedelshantering. Detta kan leda till vårdskada för patienten. Orsaker till misstag är oftast kända fenomen. Kunskap om hur sjuksköterskor undviker misstag inom läkemedelshantering är därför av största vikt.

ABSTRACTBackground: The incidence of type 2 diabetes is increasing worldwide. Early intervention in form of Medication, advice on self-management and lifestyle changes is necessary to avoid complications. Few Swedish studies are made on the diabetes nurse?s views on promotion of self- management.Purpose: To examine the diabetes specialist nurse?s experience of promoting self-management to patients with type 2 diabetes in primary care.  Method: A qualitative explorative study where eight diabetes nurses were interviewed. The interview guide consisted of semistructed questions concerning the promotion of self-management.Results: The diabetes nurse?s role in promoting patient self-management is significant, if resources are available in the form of adequate time for the patient and good team work.

Patienter med ögonsjukdomar är en stor patientgrupp som förväntas öka, då många av sjukdomarna är åldersrelaterade och befolkningen i världen blir allt äldre. Ett stort antal av patienterna kommer att förekomma på olika vårdavdelningar där de vårdas av annan orsak. Omvårdnad är sjuksköterskans huvudansvar och hennes profession medför att riktlinjer och lagar ska följas i samband med yrkesutövning. Syftet med pilotstudien var att undersöka sjuksköterskors erfarenheter av att ge omvårdnad till inneliggande patienter med olika ögonsjukdomar i anamnesen. Pilotstudien genomfördes med en kvalitativ metod och datainsamlingen skedde genom intervjuer.

In the past year, Ozempic has been observed internationally, as well as in the Swedish press, due to its rapid rise in popularity, its off-label use for weight loss, and the ethical and societal debates surrounding availability and impact. The purpose of this study is to examine how Ozempic is portrayed in the four largest Swedish daily newspapers: Svenska Dagbladet, Dagens Nyheter, Expressen and Aftonbladet. The aim of the thesis is to identify the frames within which the drug is described to acquire knowledge of how it influences public perception of it. Every article published between the first of March until the first of November has been included in the study, if it bottoms in the defined phonomenon. The method used is a qualitative text analysis in consideration of Entman?s framing theory, which is focusing on identifying dominant themes, problem definitions, proposed solutions, and the actors attributed responsibility in the coverage of Ozempic in Swedish press.

ABSTRACT. Introduction: Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a retrovirus which occurs worldwide and spreads between humans mainly through sex, from mother to child, blood and blood products and between injecting drug users. After been infected with HIV for a couple of years the final stage of the infection progress into Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), and there is no cure or vaccine, only Medication that delays the development of the disease. Objective: The aim of this thesis is to examine the preventive work against HIV in Sweden, the groups at risk for getting infected and to highlight sexual attitudes and behaviours among adolescents and young adults. Method: A literature based study method was used and the material is based on scientific articles and reports from active actors within the field of HIV prevention.

Background: In the schools today it is common that teachers talk about children with special needs and children with ?Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder? ? ADHD. You can often hear people discuss about children with ADHD from the teachers point of view, that pupils are hard to handle and that they do not know how to create a good relationship with them. But you seldom hear anyone talk about school from the children?s perspective, how they feel, think and experience their school attendance. Purpose: The purpose of this qualitative study was to examine how a functional disability like ADHD can effect a childs schooling and also to show how pupils with ADHD themselves experience their school attendance and how they are being treated by teachers and other pupils.Method: In order to investigate this, five interviews was carried out with students in the the ages of 16-25.

The study is based on interviews with five people who have been enrolled at a psychiatric clinic. Another aim of the study is to understand how the importance of the outpatient care for the personal recovery and the improvement opportunities of the support from the rehabilitation unit that the interviewees see. The study is qualitative and abductive approach was chosen. This means that the study is based on empirical data supported by established theories.

Background: The incidence of caesarean section for breech presentation has reached approximately 90 % in Sweden. In many of these cases, by means of specific selection criteria, it would be as safe to plan for vaginal breech delivery. Aim: The objective of this study was to investigate differences in management and to compare maternal and fetal outcomes according to delivery mode of breech presentation; vaginal vs. caesarian section. The study included breech presentation in full term singleton pregnancies at the UppsalaUniversityHospital, Uppsala, Sweden (UAS). Method: The study was based on medical record data with a retrospective, descriptive, comparative design with quantitative approach. The method for data collection was a manual review of patient records using a structured questionnaire. Results: Of the women with children in breech presentation during the period studied, 11 % gave birth vaginally.

Bakgrund: Sjuksköterskors rätt att förskriva läkemedel skiljer sig åt mellan olika länder och infördes för distriktssköterskor i Sverige 1994. Socialstyrelsens uppföljning av sjuksköterskans förskrivningsrätt 2004 indikerade att förskrivningsrätten användes i liten utsträckning. I tidigare forskning framkommer såväl möjligheter som hinder kring förskrivningsrätten. Syfte: Syftet är att undersöka hur distriktssköterskan på vårdcentral använder sin förskrivningsrätt. Metod: Kvantitativ enkätstudie.

Syftet var att genom granskning av vetenskapliga originalartiklar undersöka patientsäkerheten vid generisk läkemedelsanvändning. Det som studerades var den eventuella problematiken, åtgärderna och patienternas egna erfarenheter av generisk användning. Den Metod som användes var en litteraturstudie där artiklar söktes i ett flertal databaser och via manuella sökningar. Sjutton artiklar inkluderades och granskades utifrån en mall för kvalitet- och resultatanalys. I Resultatet framgick att sjuksköterskor anser att osäkerhet, täta läkemedelsbyten, otydlig kommunikation, lika läkemedel till utseende och namn, samt tung arbetsbelastning är riskfaktorer som leder till medicineringsfel i form av under- och överdosering och/ eller utebliven läkemedelsdos.
