ABSTRACT Title: 4000 seats to Sandviken - The business discourse development from 1921 to 2012 seen through two sports stadiums in Sandviken Level: Final assignment for Master Degree in Business Administration Author: Signe Jernberg Supervisor: Lars Ekstrand Date: March 2012 Aim: The aim of this paper is to investigate the business discourse emergence during the 1900s and to make a contribution to how a business administration discourse can be seen today. Method: The business discourse is examined through a inventory of how business theories, practices and ideas have enabled the design of two sports facilities, Göransson Arena And Nya idrottsplatsen in Sandviken Municipality. The inventory is based on material gathered from Sandviken Municipality archives and from Göransson Arenas' own archives. The archives consist of such things as board meeting protocols, annual reports, bookkeeping, drawings, photographs and more. The method is based on Foucault's discourse analysis, focusing on his archaeological period.Results & conclusion: The archives show how business ideas, theories, and expressions can be seen in the two arenas. The results show how the concepts of customer, company and association are present in the design of the two arenas in different ways.

The purpose of this thesis was to examine how the build-up of customer relations can be characterized at the end of the industrial selling process and how companies engage their cross-functional selling teams into this relationship building effort. Through a case study of Omega, a multinational company engaged in the selling of products of an industrial character, it was revealed that the build-up and maintaining of the customer relationship is of acute importance, as it presents the company with a window of opportunities. Through its relationship with the customer the company can be able to sell other products, which are related to the original purchase made by the customer. For the company?s competitors the established relationship might also serve as a barrier when attempting to enter the market or increase market share.

The students participating in my development work will work with a process book for handicraft studies. In the beginning of their studies, the students need practical knowledge about the development of the profession itself, but they also need to be challenged and learn how to solve problems on their own which will help them gain a deeper knowledge of the subject. I focus on open questions to create a process with the students. This process is created when working with Solution-Focused-Education. Många förändringar har skett i skolan sedan 2006 och debatten har på senare tid handlat väldigt mycket om grundskolelärares ökade administrativa belastning. Intresset väcktes därför att undersöka dessa förändringar genom att fånga grundskolelärares egna uppfattningar om deras möjlighet till delaktighet i förändringsprocesserna och deras uppfattningar om hur dessa förändringar har påverkat deras arbete. Studiens syfte är således att undersöka hur grundskolelärare uppfattar de förändringar som skett sedan 2006 gällande administrationen i deras arbete. This thesis investigates and emphasises on the way students at Växjö police academy describe their socialization into their profession as police officers and the creation of profession identity. The scientist?s main questions are: In what way do the students at Växjö police academy describe their socialization process into the police profession? What role does the organisation play in the socialization process of the police students? How do the students develop their police identity? Which qualities are encouraged? The study is based on qualitative interviews with nine police students, performed in groups of three. Group theory, role theory, and organization theory are applied to the material to provide an understanding through which it is possible to understand the process of socialization. The study shows that there seems to be patterns in the description of a professional identity.

The aim of the study is to investigate attitudes about rapists and to determine whether it is felt that they need treatment, imprisonment or a combination of the two. The study examines differences in attitudes between two different educational groups. The first group of students is comprised of those studying on programs that lead to careers working with people, whilst the other contains students who will work in business administration. The investigation also includes views on which punishment alternative the informants believed to be the most appropriate. The same differences are also investigated between gender and age.

The county administrations in Sweden receive a lot of complaint cases that differ in grade of how severe the deficiency is. The complaint cases are given priority by how severe the deficiency seems to be.
Läkemedel i sond: en litteraturstudie
Introduktion: Val av läkemedelsform och lämplig administrationsmetod är mycket viktig för patienter med enteral sond. Administrering av orala läkemedel via sond kan leda till komplikationer som obstruktion av sond eller minskad läkemedelseffekt, varför noggrant val och iordningställande av beredningsformen behövs för att minska komplikationerna vid läkemedelsadministrationen. Syfte: Att genom en litteraturstudie svara på vilka problem som kan uppstå när läkemedel ska administreras via sond samt hur man kan lösa dessa problem. Metod: Litteratursökning i Pubmed/Medline, Cinahl, Ovid och Cochrane som resulterade i 14 artiklar, som behandlade administration av läkemedel i sond och olika problem som detta kan leda till. Resultat: Resultatet visar att det vanligaste förekommande problemet vid administration av läkemedel i sond är obstruktion och detta orsakas av olämpliga administrationsmetoder och okunskap om vilka läkemedel och beredningsformer som kan administreras via sonden.

While conducting our practical training we experienced how the structure and the complexity of the municipal administration could, from a white-collar workers perspective, become a limitation and burden for efficient work. Deriving from this experience we found an interest in how politicians reasoned with regards to their relationship with supervisor in municipal old-age care. Kouzes och Micos (1979) ?Theory of organizational behavior in human service? became our point of departure. Their framework was therefore the foundation for our research and work throughout this paper.Our aim with this research was to examine how politicians viewed their relationship with supervisor in municipal old-age care.

För det första konstaterade jag att det är väldigt svårt att mäta
produktivitetsförändringar inom IT-området. Trots svårtigheterna att mäta
förändringar var det en som uttryckligen lyckats åstadkomma mer under
arbetstiden eftersom intranätet medfört att han kunnat byta ut restimmar mot
arbetstimmar.
Dessutom kom jag fram till att alla respondenter erhåller mer information än
vad de behöver till sina respektive arbetsuppgifter. Situationen är mest akut
för människor som är ute och reser mycket, och därför inte har en daglig
kontakt till intranätet. Många av intranätanvändarna väljer hellre att ta
avstånd från intranätet än att riskera att drabbas av för mycket
information.Det är inte många av intranätanvändarna som sitter och letar efter
information. Utan hittar de inte informationen på intranätet tar de kontakt med
personer som de tror ?sitter med informationen?.

How does IT-consultants reason in their consulting process regarding the development of a clients IT-based internal recruitment system? The purpose with this paper is to investigate how an IT-consultant is reasoning in a consulting process and investigate whether consultants are using established models and methods in their work. We have chosen to work with a qualitative examination to attain our purpose. In our work gathering the empirical facts we have been working with a case study, an observation and a simulation exercise. The combination of these has made it possible to carry out the paper and produce the most correct data possible.

Research in philanthropy in terms of economy and marketing has been neglected in Sweden and the research that is done today is mainly focused on why individuals donate to charity. The use of balanced scorecards have spread explosively throughout the world during the last decade. This management tool have become very common in a vide spread variety of organisations on all continents. Many balanced scorecard fails though and scorecard theorists often blame the identification- and implementation process as they claim that these lay the foundation for the use of the tool. As my literature study shows, academic research on the area is rare. Particularly the effect on the implementation process from organisational dynamics and organisational structures needs further research.
